October 2007 Here We Come!!

My husband and I are going to celebrate our first anniversary (a week late though, because I have to wait for my fall break from some classes I'm taking). We can't wait! We are staying at Pop since we are buying our first home this summer and need to go Value. But it should be great nevertheless because we will spend a lot of time in the parks. I haven't been in 10 years, so I have a lot of catching up to do!

We are going October 21-28. We were going to stay at WL but MIL didn't want a bunk bed to share with DS4 so we moved to my fave the AKL Savanah view and got 2 queens. I think we are going to do MNSSHP on October 25. We went last year and had a blast. DS4 and 17 rode Splash Mountain 4 times in a row with out getting off and did the same on Thunder Mountain as well. Already know where we are eating for some meals. I am ready to pull out my suitcases now and take inventory of what I need

No, we did this last year. Since they let party guests in at 4 we ate early - about 445 or so so we were done by 615 and ready to party.

My mom and I will be at the Poly Oct 2-7....our first time staying there!! Actually we fly in late night on the 1st and are staying at ASMo for one night. Anyone headed to MNSSHP October 4th??!!

For those who were asking about MNSSHP vs MVMCP, I've done both and I loved seeing WDW all done up for the Holidays but I thought MNSSHP was much better.

We will be in Disney Oct 28-Nov 2, so far we are booked at Beach Club but hope to change to Wilderness Lodge at the 7 month mark We will probably do MNSSHP on Oct 30 and go Trick or Treating at DTD or the Boardwalk on Oct 31. Last year we ate at Crystal Palace before the party and we feel we wasted good park time, so this year we will do a Counter Service. The waits at the party were very minimal, we did EVERYTHING except Mickey's Philharmgic in 5 hours, we were able to get in the park at 4PM. Cant wait!!!

We'll be there from 9/29 through 10/8 at the WL. It will be the first trip for both kids! I can't wait to see their faces when they see the castle for the first time. We're planning to do MNSSHP on the 1st and the PFTS on the 6th.

Was wondering if any of you October goers are renting a car and if you booked yet? Of course I am hoping it gets cheaper as time gets closer, but for now I have an intermediate with Dollar, 8 days for $176.

We are staying at POR this time and I don't think we will rent a car. We used the busses last time at AS Movies and had no problems whatsoever! Our car would have probably sat in the parking lot the entire time! So, I think we are going to pass on the rental car again. I know some people like having the car just in case, but the busses are good enough for our family!
