Wednesday 15th October
This morning we headed over to MGM this morning. We leisurely took the boat over
, I love this first thing in the morning. We were swiftly through security and in to the park. The guide said that Tower of Terror would be down today, but luckily they had one side open. I love this ride so we got a fass Oass and headed over to Rock N Roller Coaster DH favourite, there was only a five minute wait I think everyone was at Tower of Terror. I alwayss seem to loose my breath on this ride.
Our next stop was the Great Movie Ride we thought this was OK, we had the gangster ride I believe there is a cowboy side as well but we have never done this. Afterwards we went back to my favourite ride Tower of Terror. Of course we didnt hold on We brought the photo on this one, we dont usually buy the photos but DH wasnt holding on this time. Just outside of Tower of Terror there is a coffee stand so I stopped off for an Iced Coffee yum.
Who wants to be a Millionaire was next we really enjoy this but some of the questions are too American for us English
The man in the hot seat got to only three questions away from winning the cruise. I really thought he would win. We then headed over to Indiana Jones and there was standing room only. This is not one of my favourite shows Dh enjoys it so we stood at the back which allowed us a quick getaway at the end. The Muppets were good we hadnt seen it for a couple of years.
We then left MGM and caught the Friendship boat back to the Boardwalk. We quickly changed and then headed out to the pool. We spent a couple of hours here swimming and spending some time in the hot tub. We showered and changed before our friends came to pick us up for the evening.
We headed out for dinner our first dinner off-site, as we didnt have a car we eat all of our meals at WDW so this was a great change. We headed to the outback to try a Bloomin Onion this was lovely, I then had a salad and DH had a huge steak, our friends had steak too. After dinner our friends took us over to Celebration, we stopped off at the Golf Course and DH drooled he would love to play here. Celebration was so perfect I want a house there. We spent some time sitting on the rockers by the lake. They were having an autumn festival and fake autumn leaves were falling how cute
We then headed back to DTD for dessert at Ghriradelli, my friend had sugar free icecream and was very good unfortunately I wasnt so good. On the way back to the Boardwalk we stopped by Pop Century we just pulled in to the entrance to have a peak. My friend is going to be working on the front desk here when the resort opens
We said goodbye to our friends and headed up to our room. There was a message from Stacey here on the DIS . They had changed the time of our fireworks cruise. She knew we were staying at the Boardwalk and she knew my name although our reservation was in DH name , but luckily she found us. I gave her a call back to thank her for letting us know and that we were looking forward to meeting her and her mum.
