Hey all, I just posted this on FB....


Hey Everyone.... Attention all FE Participants. I just met a nice San Diego Family at the Airport who is on our cruise. They didn't know about Disboards, but read in a forum about FE. They thought that you just put it out, and random people would put stuff in it. They didn't know that you needed to sign up! I felt so bad when I explained it to her....

So my idea is this.... If anyone could make their 1st Cruise more Magical, that would be awesome! We will be picking up some treats in DD for them..Extra candy, FE's, treats, etc.
she's got 3 boys, ages 7, 9, and 11! They are in cabin 10546.

We will be glad to help. We will drop candy twice. Early and late into sailing.

BTW we way over packed. Anyone have an extra cabin for our stuff?

Thanks.....hopefully we will be able to go during Thanksgiving. My TA was fabulous and worked her magic for us.

Arrived at old key west for our night before the cruise and they put us in a handicapped room Hate those showers and they can't move us..We're hoping for some pixie dust tomorrow....just not a magical way to start a vacation....

Hey guys... We are sorry to have missed the dismeets but I had to frantically run back to park n cruise to get a piece of luggage we forgot and then when I got there I found out hubby had gotten out or he employee did and we didn't see him!! Needless to say I just got back on boat at 325 pm.... What a way to start vacation and my birthday!!!! Someone get this girl a drink

I had some rough sailings during my time with DCL, but last night took the cake! Amazing! We got some great footage from the atrium around 2am... Glass shattering, things falling over, the whole shabang. On the upside: 25% off future booking?? Yes, please!!! I would never have guessed it. We will be back, and hopefully on a double Castaway sail date! An added note: I will NEVER leave my baby for that long again. I could never have prepared myself for the heartache. I can't wait to hold him and kiss him tonight!! <3

Oh yes! The best part, I almost forgot! For those of you who missed it, Von proposed to me on formal night. It was very romantic, he did a great job! I'm not big on marriage, but I'm big on Von, and I think our family will do well with a marriage under our belts. Hope you all found some magic of your own!

I was thinking of this cruise cause I was booked on it sometime ago but cancelled when the first Hawaii cruise was announced. If you guys think you had it bad for a few hours, try the first Hawaii cruise. For the first two sea days pools were closed. Seas were 18-20 feet constantly. Puke bags out in all the restrooms. The Wonder was Rocking and Rolling. I did not complain one bit. Why? I chose to take my vacation on the ocean. It happens. Last year on the Magic a freak storm came to PC the day we left last Oct. 8. Seas that first day were also in the 20 foot range. Again, no complaints from me cause I chose to vacation on the ocean. From what I understand on that cruise Captain John had a choice to make. Leave on time and have it be rough, or stay tied up at PC like carnival did. We left and I think it was the right choice. Carnival apparently according to the officers had hull damage by staying. Not sure how bad but they did sail as well.

Trust me when I say it was bad enough to give everyone on the entire ship a future discount of 25%. Our seas were way more than 20 feet for more than just a few hours. My poor 4 yr old puked all night long. Not complaining though & we'll be sailing again next year!
