Those Mid afternoon pool side Frozen drinks go down so easy

if this is from the Dream then I believe the bartender with his elbow up in the air pouring a drink is Bob and he came from the Wonder.

Yeah, we go into our first cruise on the Fantasy knowing a couple bartenders and a sommelier.

It takes alot of holding down a bar to become this experienced!

Darn it all, we have a 12:30 port arrival time, because we are coming if from the resort. Well, we will just have to see the newly engage couple at our DISMEET. By the way, I will add your names to our main page.

I also think waiting and planning something during the cruise would be good. On Palo night she will be dressed up and all ready for her 'just got engaged" photos!

Whatever way to decide to go, it will be Magical

I say go for the boom later in the cruise. Palo would be perfect. As mentioned she will be dressed up and will have some great photos of the "engagement". My husband proposed to me on a cruise and unfortunately, it was when I was NOT dressed as I would like to be. In fact, my avatar is the picture taken the next day on formal night. Would have been a much better day to do. But, it was still all good. I say go for it!

Hi Matt -

Palo is so over used for these things and as you walk on the ship may be hectic so I say don't pick a place or time. As you make your way around the ship you will see the right place and you will know exactly when the time is right and then is when you should do it.

Ditto. I'm sure you'll know when the time is right, and it will be memorable no matter where you are or what you do. I'm trying to think of a good place to give my husband a little gift to commemorate our 1 year of overcoming our biggest marriage obstacle ever. I'm just going to do it when the opportunity presents itself.

You can coordinate with Disney and still pop the question on the first day or two. They're quick thinkers. The tricky part is getting away for a few minutes to come up with something good without cluing her in or making her suspicious! And finding the right person to talk to, of course. I'm sure guest services would be able to point you in the right direction, or someone up the ladder on the entertainment staff! (they're the most fun and creative )

We are dressing up. John in black suit though, no tux and I have navy formal dress.

I' m dressing up....Bill is wearing a dark gray suit. I just got my dress. Can't wait I see everyone glammed up for formal night. Still on the fence about pirate night....I have wanted to dress up as a pirate...I usually end up wearing something w a nautical theme.

Your name was the only one from our group I recognized on here. Most of our mutual Disney friends don't browse the DISboards anymore. I still like to come on here because honestly I love talking about Disney, going to Disney and planning trips to Disney. The WDW Radio boards is soooooo slow and non-responsive. Wish someone would jolt some life into those boards. I've tried.
