Are any of you guys going to participate in any port adventures on this cruise?

I'm not sure about St. Thomas, but Maho beach is 1st on my list for St. Maarten. I've read a bunch of posts about Bernard's tours.

What are your plans?

In St Thomas we plan to go snorkeling over in St John. Previously we've kayaked in St. Thomas (I think it was a guided tour through the mangroves).

Last time we were in St. Maarten we sailed in the 12-metre regatta, which was a blast. This time we want to see the French side of the island, so we will just wander over on our own most likely.

We are just starting to research the excursions. have to say I am sad to see that there is very little current information on the boards about the eastern cruises and reviews of the excursions available. Most reviews date back to 2009 so I've been searching on Cruise Critic and Passporters for info, not much their either but more than is current here.

Are we still deciding on a name?

Personally, I need LOTS of time for FE gifts, so any idea when we will get an official list started? Just need a rough idea what I'm looking at....

We would like to visit Maho Beach too. We also plan to book with Bernard's. We would also like to snorkel, hit the beach, and perhaps see some sights, like the look out, atop the mountain. Priorities are snorkel and Maho. From my readings, we need to hit Maho later in the day? ( Big planes later in day, and it closer to port than other points of interest).
We are ; DH; DW ; DD 11; DD 6 ; all @ sailing. The adults are a few years older than you Jeff. That could slow you down. I don't want that to happen. But we are game if you have no other choice but to hang with us old foggies.
Not sure how I know how old you are? You must have leaked it.
Anyway we are cool either way. I would love to do semi-private tour on St Maarten with Bernard's. FWIW
