October 2 & 6, 2011 B2B Dream Cruising

Bought tickets to MNSSHP this afternoon!! DW has been, I have not. Can't wait to see the Headless Horseman!!! :woohoo:

13 days before I head out to WDW and then the cruise! Will be at WDW for 26 days, part vacation and part work.

Still haven't packed or got anything ready other than the Cats are now going to be taken care of while I'm gone. :thumbsup2

Is it just me or did these months go by super fast? Wow, wasn't it just a little while ago we were saying 6 months, 5 months and now only 14 days!

Can't wait to get on the ship! Speaking of which...time to hit the gym to lose these last two pounds before vacation. :yay:

:woohoo::woohoo:We are doing the single digit dance....we leave in 9 sleeps!!!!:woohoo::woohoo:

I was out of commission for most of last week, so I lost a valuable week of "getting ready time" so I have a lot to do to get ready and not much time between soccer, cheer and tennis. Still, very excited...and a little bit stressed. :scared1:

Hope you're back in commission!! I am doing a packing dry run just to be sure I have everything. I also pack a pre/post cruise bag so I don't have to wag my big bag in and out of the Suburban at overnight stops.

Okay, I have waited long enough to get my rear in gear and now time has come to actually get stuff done! It's going to be a long weekend, but I will have everything done by Sunday night including most of my packing. Of course, I needed to get smaller slacks for work, but Palo too, and didn't get them ordered until last night. Hoping that Kohls can deliver in time before I leave next Friday.

Best of luck to everyone in my boat....we are going to have to start rowing hard. :rotfl:

7 days to go before leaving for WDW! Sooooo excited!

We are leaving on Friday too, I'm also hoping to be mostly ready by Sunday evening. I am home today and going to clean house and start making lists of what I still need to buy, mostly odds and ends stuff. I'm hoping to start packing tomorrow. I should be able to get all of our dinner clothes packed as well as most of our bathroom stuff. I just wont be able to pack all of our clothes because it's still in the 90's here and we are wearing shorts still. I wish it would cool off so I could pack everything.
With so much to do I am starting to exit my very excited phase :cool1: and entering my very stressed out phase :scared1: Once I enter stressed out, I don't usually make it back to excited until we are in the car on our way to the airport. If I can get a lot done this weekend, maybe I'll be able to avoid the very stressed out phase and just stay excited!

Big Red, we're doing Fishlips the night before we leave. We hope to watch the Magic leave.
I think we will try Fishlips this trip. Nothing against Grills, just want to try something different! Anyone else in the area, feel free to join us!! :cool1:
Anyone else staying @ CI&S?? Might get together for a beverage @ the pool after dinner!

.... I am doing a packing dry run just to be sure I have everything....
Dry run done! Washing & packing! pirate:

You can do it!! :thumbsup2

As of last night I have almost all of our dinner stuff packed, after a frantic trip to Ross and Marshalls. I wasn't really planning on buying new stuff for this cruise, but my kids went and grew out of all their cruise dinner wear. :sad2: I think we are set now. Today I will be packing the bathroom bag and the shoe bag. If I can get that done and the rest of our magnets laminated I will feel good about what I have done so far.
BigRed1, our group is staying at Residence Inn, and a few at Raddison. I'm sure we will run into you at Fish Lips though, which is where happy hour will start for me. :rotfl:

Don't you love it when a plan comes together?! We love the Radisson, and have stayed there several times. Their pool and adult beverage center is great for a mini meet, a great place for happy hour! It is just getting run down. We always stayed in the "Caribbean Rooms", which are the best rooms I have seen there. The last time we stayed there, the room was well worn, dirty carpet and just looked worn down. The property is in need of a serious renovation. :sad1:

Cruise bag packed, pre/post cruise bag packed, and I can taste those Konk Koolers already!! :drinking1 Time flies when you're having rum!! pirate:

Well the weekend was a bust and now I'm really far behind! Not to mention lots of work stuff to get done too! Oh boy, it's going to be a tough week, but I only have myself to blame. :lmao:

Safe travels to all of us heading out to the World. Friday will come soon enough and there is packing to do tonight and Kohls shopping tomorrow since my online order won't get here in time.

Well, I'm not as far along as I would have liked, but I do have some packing accomplished. If I didn't have to shuttle the kids around to soccer and cheer practice I could be done by now! At least we got our oldest DD's car fixed. Last week I was shuttling her around to soccer and tennis too and I'm used to her driving herself around.
I know it's getting close now because I've been getting confirmation e-mails for our pre-cruise hotels and car rentals. This morning I got a phone call at 6:45 am from Fishlips confirming our reservation. Good thing it's a school day and we were up....:rotfl: I don't think she knew she was calling California, where it's 3 hours earlier.
Is anyone leaving in the next day or two? We are leaving our house at 3am Friday morning. :scared1: Since we fly standby, if the flights fill up there is a chance we may have to switch that to Thursday night for the red eye, I hope not though.

RESERVATIONS FOR FISHLIPS?? :scared1: at the Port? :scared1: I need to check on that. Thought it was walk up like Grills!
OK, I see it is for parties of 30 or more now! Had me worried!

;) Not to worry BigRed...we only made reservations because we are such a large party. I'm sure you will be fine!
