Hi Ken,
I noticed you just came off a B2B. Would you be so kind to share the disembark / embark process? This is our first B2B along with several other friends on the October 2 & 6 cruises. Thanks for your help.
Allen
Sure. We got a letter in our stateroom outlining the process. We were required to be off the ship by 9am and out of our rooms (if changing) by 8am. We were changing staterooms. If you are staying you just leave all your stuff. If changing, pack it up and put the new stickers for the new room and we placed it outside our room by 8am. We went to breakfast at the buffet and got off at 845am. We went thru customs down the escalators, and then instead of going to the garage or the busses, we went right back up escalators to the terminal. It was pretty empty. You do not have to go thru the metal detectors again. Around 930am we were able to check in again, they used our same picture but we got new key to the world cards. We were able to wait in the concierge lounge. There was no food or drink. Although they say we sometimes can get back on at 1030 we were not back on until around 11am. They report that if changing rooms, the new room should be ready by 1130, but they are still behind barricades, and we were not comfortable crossing them, but I guess we could have. Everyone else was getting on around 1145 so we really didn't have 'the ship to ourselves' or anything. It actually was a bit anti-climactic. But we knew the routine and knew the ship, different from the new people. Kinda sucked for us with the storm because we could not go to
castaway cay the 2nd time, and instead spent 3 days at Nassau. Yay.
