I read the thread and thought wow everything is so good. People had a good time, Turner is getting better and then......Jeanne's post about Bonnie. Don't give up. There is definitely a wait list for cabins so when there is a turn around I bet they can add you. On the Panama Canal thread there has been a lot drop out and others are still thinking. People are a little upset about all the sea days and also are rethinking taking their kids out of school for so long. Get your name on the wait list NOW!! Make sure they understand that you want in a specific cabin. Write Dreams, call DCL. I bet getting one person on would be easy. Maybe not soon, but I bet it can be done!

Heidi, thanks for sending the pictures for me. Hopefully this weekend we can start on the Picture CD!

Did I tell anyone that Jeanne made a criminal out of me at MK? Let's just say it was over M&M's.

Shannon and Ollie have been talking to Jasper and Hera. They were both on my bed last night went I went upstairs. Then Hera hid under the bed and wouldn't come out. They are both soo sweet!

Julie: Are you coming over tomorrow afternoon to fetch your giant bottle of vodka?

Denine your post made me laugh, if you missed Pub Night you would never get that!!! My fav was the ballerina (Poor guy!!) Just thinking about the whole skit can bring me to tears laughing!!

Julie - I wanna know about the coconuts.

Bad Bad people my mom and Jeanne are. They even ended up corrupting poor Joyce, my dad, and I!!

Everyone, check your emails for some pics I scanned and sent. They will be coming from my mom's email....I would like to post some on the thread, any ideas how to post pics on the DIS? Any techies or computer whizzes out there?

Also, Denine I didn't get to see your kitties or your new house and haven't broken into my moms account yet so can you please send them to me. You can send it to Heidpally@aol.com. And while I am talking to the recipe queen, anyway of finding out the recipe for the old Palo Fish soup?

Great idea Heidi about asking around for the fish soup recipe. Did you post it on the boards like the recipe one, DCL and community board? I want that recipe. Did you remember to ask Randy today? Glad that you posted your email address. Now people can include you as well!

Denine, that is so cool about the new kitties and Shannon and Ollie. See....we know that they are still with you! I think it is so funny about Jerry getting picked for the ventriloquist. How funny. He was a really funny guy. Isn't he the one Heidi that hung out at your table?

I gained 4.4. Phew, glad that I was able to get some off before I weighed in. I was thinking ahead before I left that is for sure. She was kind of snotty about it but oh well! So... what are your plans NOW to take it back off? Uhhh, diet? Did you keep up with your water? Uhhhh, no. Water is a no no on the islands. Did you have your LA lites (protein bar)? Uh no. I didn't pack them. Oh well, now I can go forward again.

Any good helpful hints from you guys for Stacey and morning sickness? I didn't have it so I am no help what so ever. I had such a strange pregnancy....no hicups, no kicks, no morning sickness, labor for only 4 hours and it wasn't even a bad labor. Just a humongous belly.

My guess is that Julie bought one of those huge coconuts filled with a drink and didn't have space to pack it.

Before I forget my research on the Disboard found that morning sickness can be lessened with ginger, smell of lemon, eating lemon heads, eating anything sour, malox, antacids, and things called Prego pops at Babies R Us.

Spent the day with Dodger Dog. He was SOOOO good. I let him run in the woods & he kept flying back & forth through the woods but when I called him he came CHARGING to me.

DENINE: I did see your new "babies". I love Jasper's ears!

SANDY: We didn't book through DU we booked directly through DCL. I will have to discuss getting on the waiting list with Bonnie.

Sandy, I had morning sickness with Brooke for about 2-3 months or so. Saltine crackers works really good. Fireball candies worked well too. (I still have a BUNCH of them, I'll send you some for her). I did ask my Dr. for some meds. to help with it and that really helped. We were driving down to disney and there was NO WAY I was driving getting sick all the time. The meds really helped and after that trip, I didn't need anything anymore. They also sell those wristbands (I think they help with sea sickness too). They sell them at the drug stores and at some baby stores too. Those didn't seem to help me that much, but they still helped. Tell Stacy NOT to take Pepto (the pink stuff) for heartburn or upset stomach. People told me that many women have had miscarriages from taking it.

Jeanne, glad that you and Dodger had a great day!

Denine, do you have plans tomorrow evening? (sat night that is) Because I forgot that Makenzie has a birthday party to go to tomorrow afternoon. SO, either I come early evening and pick up and go (Garry has to work tomorrow night) OR we can visit next week after school one day. Just let me know!

My coconuts came from Parrot Cay. Our servers gave each of us one. All different colors too!

Oh yeah, Garry and I are going to be an uncle and aunt again! My brother and sister in law are expecting their third! Didn't they learn anything from us? LOL!

Hey Heidi, If you can get a copy of the last night skit at diversions, could you make a copy for me? I have never laughed so hard either! Garry and I are still saying lines from it!!

"Balls to you sir, balls to you sir.... up and down the court!"

"With a quick flash here and a quick flash there ... turning round and round!"

Just booked my mini-cruise with my daughter 1/3/05 from Long Beach, CA. on the Carnival ship Paradise. We do have a "picture window" but I know it could never compare to a Disney cruise. I also sent Bonnie all the info regarding the Disney Panama Canal Cruise.

Nothing else special going on. I did get the Christmas lights for outside out so we will do it this weekend since we don't have snow yet! Also, Anna Marie has started to put the Christmas window "cling ons" on the windows tonight. We will finish tomorrow. IT's beginning to look alot like Christmas!!!! Now if only I could get the rest of my shopping done!

Jeanne - You will have so much fun with your daughter. Now you can compare and give us a report back how Carnival was. My mom just informed me that today we will be working on our picture CD, sounds like fun to me.

Good morning guys, nothing new here. Had a game night with my brother and his family, Stacey and Richard and us. It was fun. Tradition is for us to eat at Taco Bell and then go to someones home for games. Laughed more than we played!

Julie, how sweet of you to offer to send the fireballs. If they are the atomic fireballs then I have them. I use them when I am not satisfied after a meal. I won't cheat because food tastes nasty after them!

Jeanne, glad that cruise came together. I know how bad you wanted to do it. I think you will have a blast! What are your ports?

Heard from Lori, she said it is a busy weekend but she will try and post next week.

Heidi: Yes, we did get the pictures. I was disappointed in the hot tub. I thought you all were actually going to be in it with drinks in hand! Coudn't make out the slippers. I am not familiar with the fish soup from Palo, believe it or not. Our first experience there was not good. I was feeling ill and we hardly had anything to eat.
I want a copy of the skit too!


Sandy: There was no need for that person to be be snitty over your weight gainfrom the cruise. You have done so well.

Jeanne: You will have to give us a comparison of the cruises. I am sure you will have fun no matter what.

Julie: You brother couldn't take it anymore huh? Congrats to them! Tonight is fine and then maybe we can get together another time.

Also, I think it was Saturday after the cruise that the 2 families went to Germany for that big buffet dinner, like we didn't have enough to eat on the cruise!

Paul was home for 36 hours and now he's on the road again. At least Turner is doing great and I won't have to worry so much about him this week. Lots to do after work this week:
Mon - bills, balancing checkbook, insurance stuff for my Dad
Tues - Youth Hockey Board Meeting
Wed - hockey practice...Then Paul will be home!!

I'm taking Turner and a friend to the Pantehr's football game today. The weather will be in the mid to uppers 60s. Nice fall day for football.

Susan, I wish I could plan out my week like you do. Just don't know if I would stick to it. I so need to balance my checkbook. I am so far behind. Poor Paul. Hitting the road for that length of time is so draining. Maybe HE needs the calgon this time.

Oh my gosh Julie. We so enjoyed those pictures. Thanks to Garry for all the work. I just wish you were here to hear our oooohhhh, and aaaahhhs. Sooooo cute. Thanks so much! Of course I have to address the bushwacker pictures. Made me wish I was with all of you!! I never saw the recipe posted. That was cool! We had it on a slide show so I wasn't able to jot it down. It was different than what Disney told me.
