Once again I am in training. Just thought I would check in to say Hi. Hope everyone is doing good.

Hi everyone! Just checking in. Boy do we people in Ohio know drama or what? LOL! I just heard that Kerry will make his concession speech at 1pm. So I guess this is over??? I'm just glad to get rid of the political commercials!!! They can get so nasty. Now we can concentrate on the important things........
Survivor and the Amazing Race starts on the 16th!!!! Yeah!

Everyone her is finally getting over whatever we all caught when we got back. It has been going around Makenzie's school. Most of her class has gotten it. I just want a healthy house!

Denine, how does Sat. afternoon look for me to stop and get my alcohol and I've missed my "coconuts!!" If not, then next week after the kids get out of school.

I want to see everyone's pictures too! Garry got the pictures downloaded onto the computer, but now I have to figure out how to send them. Maybe I can set up a web page for them. I'm a dummy when it come to the computer. Garry does all that technical stuff.

Well, nothing else new here. Will check back in later.

Julie: Saturday aftenoon sounds fine for you to pick up your coconuts. You may get to meet our new kitties then. I have to talk Jerry into going this evening to pick them out. I have been looking at the animal shelter's web site and I really like a couple of them. I just need to meet them in person.

We waited for 2 hours to vote yesterday, unreal. I am looking forward to hearing Kerry's concession speech. Sorry to you that voted democrat.

We haven't had a chance to get our pictures developed yet. My house is still a mess. I wonder if I will ever get it straightend and cleaned again.

Sandy: I am sure your hair is fine! You should have known to stay away from those sugar daddy's. I gave them away. The good stuff is in the freezer.

Hiddy Ho Everyone!!

I am back! A couple of weeks before our vacation I walked around in a daze. Too much to take care of. I was constantly asking everyone...."Did I just say that" & " I forgot what I just said to you"

I am geared up for Christmas. I have about half the decorations up in the house. 2 trees up and 2 to go.

I am really glad the election is over and glad about the results.

By the way Julie looks fantastic. I can't believe any sales person could have been so mean to her.

We had a great time on the cruise. I love spending time with my family. It makes me sad that my girls are almost to the age that they will not be vacationing with us anymore:( I have had kids most of my life. What will I do without them:confused:

I am thinking about the cruise in Oct 2006. My son Jason will probably be getting married in the fall of 2006 I just don't know when. If it works I will be there. I hope Heidi is going, she sounds like loads of fun on a cruise!

Barb:wave2:

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. With the unseasonably warm weather but very foggy and damp mornings, I guess that was enough to send Turner over the edge. He has had a bad case of bronchitis and it triggered some asthma issues. After three hours of additional testing at the doctor's office, we have much better meds and he should be back at school tomorrow. Yesterday he slept from 11:00-4:00 in the afternoon and then had not trouble sleepng from 8:30 last night until 7:00 this morning. I think his little body needed the rest. He had been coughing so bad.

I juts got back from picking up missed scholl work so he (and I) will be hitting the books in a few minutes to start making up everything. At least I got out of having to go to basketball and hockey practice this evening. If all goes well, he can go to basketball practice Friday.

Glad everyone else is getting better too. And, I am glad this election stuff is over. I was at our precinct at 6:00am (polls opened at 6:30) and I didn't get home until 9:00. It's only 3 blocks away!!!

Well, the work of a 5th grader is calling!!

Later!

Ohhhhh, poor Turner! Hate to hear that he is that under the weather. Pixie dust!

Barb, wow, good to hear from you. Isn't it icky to think that the kids won't be vacationing with you. I thought about that when we took the girls to WDW for their graduation present in 1999. I even cried. At least I still have Heidi! I agree, Julie DOES look fantastic!

Denine, if you get those kitties you will have to post their pictures! We all love kitties. I know, I know, sugar daddys are bad. Believe me, I learned my lesson. He said that I was very lucky! He had to adjust one "point" and was able to get it back on. He was also concerned over my bite changing that fast but it was ok too. Phew!

Julie, I want to see pics. Hopefully Garry can get them on a website. I would love to know how to do that too so we can share ours. I love the one with all of us ladies in the Walt Suites bathtub. We have never laughed so much. Well, ok. Other than the Big Guy drinking off the deck and straw throwing at the Wilderness lodge and....... Gosh, we all have a good time together now don't we?? FAMILY!!

I agree with the others. Glad that all that nasty campaigning is over. I am so tired of all the commercials! It was nice to get away on vacation away from it all! Bring on the reality shows!

Turner slept through the night with very little coughing or wheezing. Looks like he'll be heading to school today and I can go back to work.

I want to see everybody's pictures.

Denine, hope you got the kitties yesterday. Can't wait to see pictures and hear what you name them.

Barb, I can't believe you have Christmas decorations up already. I know you guys have had snow already but we have still been in the upper 70s and low 80s. Cool weather is suppose to start arriving today or tomorrow. But, it still seems like late summer!

Gotta go get ready for work. I'll be back on this evening.

Love you guys!
Later!

Wow Susan. What a bragger! Today's high is to be inthe 40's. Wanna trade weather?

Nothing new here. Just checking in.

:wave2: Back at work so now I can DIS!!!

Quiet board, hope everyone is okay. I can't wait to sleep in this weekend.

Nothing exciting to say.

I'm here! Barb and Sandy thank you for the kind words. I just now need to loss the weight I gained on the cruise! I still have a ways to go before I'm comfortable with the way I look. But thank you!

It's about 50 right now and rainy. I'm getting a sinus headache so I'm sure the weather will be getting worse. Both Garry and Makenzie are in school and Brooke is walking around finding things to get into! Garry just finished the final touches to the photos, so he said this weekend he will put it on a web page and I'll send it out to all of you. I'm gonna try and scan the formal picture so you can see that one too. Brooke's face is priceless in it.

Got both Garry's and Makenzie's school pictures so I'll send some out soon. Garry's is really good and Makenzie's is good, not great, but still cute. I just don't feel like going though the retaking process.

Heidi, so how's Radar? Maybe the two of you could come on the Oct.14th 2006 cruise with Denine and me (and anyone else coming........ PLEASE TED................ Garry needs you!!!!! And Bonnie needs to come.......... remember that promise to babysit thing?......... the youngest would be Brooke and she would be 2 1/2 so that would be easy!

OH....... SO Darren.................. how is he? Who was Rachel? Who was your server in Palo's? Fill us in!!!

Funny story about sugar daddy's.......On sunday, I had to go to a wake for Garry's mom's cousin. Garry was working a double so I went by myself. Anna Marie was home with the kids. Well, I told Garry's dad that I would meet him at the furneral home so he could introduce me to some of the people I didn't know. Garry's dad's wife (Linda)was at a baby shower so it was just the two of us. To make a long story short...... one of MaryAnn's (Garry's mom) other cousin's asked Garry's dad if I was his wife!!!! LOL!!! She said that she had heard he remarried so she just figured that I was the "new bride". I told Garry's dad that he should be so lucky and that I could walk into more places with him for a small fee. He was so red when she said that. So I called the house on my way home and talked to Garry(he had just gotten home from work) and Anna Marie and told them the story. When I got home, Anna Marie (of all people) says Grandpa called and told me to give you this... and she handed me a suger daddy! NICE!!! THere would be no humor here if it wasn't for me! That's my sugar daddy story!

Oh Well, gonna go. Have to do some kind of work around here. I'll check back in later!

Julie, funny story about sugar daddy!! I only wish my sugar daddy story was funny!

Darren, is doing great. He looks great. Gained a little weight. Rachel is his friend from CA that he met in CA while pin trading. Rachel used to work at Disneyland but is now looking for a job. She is soooooooo sweet. She has a 17 year old daughter. Darren insists that they are just friends. He kept promising over and over that he will start posting again. They are still in WDW. They looked into booking a back to back Wonder cruise. I am not sure if he really did it or not. I know that he got a quote. Makes me a little nervous that he would perhaps cancel the Panama Canal cruise. Hope not! Wouldn't be the same without him. I just love bumping into him and seeing that smile. We were with him a lot more this time.

We had Micho as our head server, Gede as asst and Simon as head waiter. All were great. Our server at Palo's dinner was Kristof and I can't remember our brunch server. Of course, they were great, too.

Speaking of weight. I did gain that weight and tomorrow is the first day back to LA Weight loss. I am so afraid to go in. Oh well. What can they do to me? My doctor wasn't upset yesterday. He just said to keep up the good work. I figure I will have to shock my system again with a special diet for 2 days and then back to the real diet.

Can't wait to see your pics, Julie. Thank Garry for all his work! I never worried about school pics. They are never the best. I always took the girls to another studio for passing out to relatives and friends. Hope to see the formal pic. Little Brooke is so cute.

I am done with my Secret Santa. It was a pretty easy family/person to buy for.

I sent you all an e-mail with the website where you can find the pic of our new kitties. Jasper is sleeping on the desk next to me. Hera is sleeping in her box upstairs. They are both so sweet. It took me 2 hours to pick out the 2 that I wanted. They have so many right now and are really over crowded. I really wanted to bring Rosie home (her picture is just above Jasper's), but she was 8 years old already and I just couldn't do it. And yes, I actually considered bringing home 3 cats!

Sandy: I haven't even weighed myself yet. That will wait till next week.

Julie: Loved you sugar daddy story!

If it is going to take time for Julie to be happy with the way she looks, I have no hope!

Poor Kaleigh's tummy is suffering from the antibiotics. I had to give her a bath this morning. She still has a few more days.

Barb: I was just thinking about you and that you had probably started on those Christmas decorations. I did get my Christmas exchange gift purchased and another gift for Kaleigh.

Glad to hear about Darren!

We took our pictures to be developed yesterday.

I need to take pictures of my new babies.

It is cold and rainy today and supposed to be colder tomorrow.

Sue: Hope Turner is feeling much better!

:rotfl: Julie your story was hilarious about the Sugar Daddy!!

I gained 8 lbs on the cruise!!! I can't believe I gained that much, oh well it was worth it.

Julie you have nothing to worry about. You looked gorgeous.

Tonight I am putting all my photos in the album I bought on the cruise so people at work will stop bothering me about seeing them!! I tried yesterday but something came up.

Darren is absolutely adorable. (If he is reading this I am sure he will blush) But he is so sweet. I wish I could take him home. Rachel was such a sweetheart. I would cruise with them any day. Darren made a reservation for the 4 day secret porthole so if he doesn't go through with it, maybe I can snag it from him!!! Maybe I need to talk to him!!! Maybe I can just tag along ;) :p!!!

Poor Kaleigh, I hope she feels better.

All of out waiters were awesome. I am sure Kristoff from Palo was ready to throw me overboard. It was so much fun to harass him and try and make him lose his composure!!! He was a great sport!!

Quitting time. Talk to you all tomorrow. Yea tomorrow is FRIDAY!!

Denine, Jaspar sure went to the right house. He likes toys and a big house. And precious Hera. A petite kittie. All of ours have always been tiny. They are so sweet. It makes me want to go out and rescue some myself. All of our cats have been rescued. Hope Kaleigh is doing better. How does she like the kitties?

Heidi, Kristoff was so funny the way he teased you. He did have to work hard to keep that composure, didn't he? It was a different night at Palo's, one that we haven't had before. It was fun with all what we put him through and what he put YOU through.

Julie, Barb, Sally and Denine, tell us stories about your cruise! How was the bushwacker? Mmmmmm, Heidi read on the board about DCL having a great drink...BBC. Two different bartenders made them different. One was the Baileys, banana and cream and the other was the rum, banana, cream, Baileys and a splash of Kahlua. Oh my gosh, that is now my favorite drink. We couldn't get the Castaway Freeze. The bartender was sick and the other guy didn't know how to make them. :(

I tried a berrytini on the cruise, vodka and chambord. Very yummy! I like the Bailey's colada's. Those are also yummy.

Hera is starting to come out of her box and explore a little. Kaleigh loves our new babies! Jasper was getting a little tired of her so he went upstairs to get away. He seems to like her and I think they will be good buddies.

Our cruise: We left on Thursday for our drive down and got to the port Saturday morning. Kaleigh was awesome, except, something spooked her in the motel in Jacksonville and she practically jumped out of her crib and landed on the floor before you could say Kaleigh. She would not go back in and slept in our bed for the 1st time, but not the last time for the trip. They were late letting us into the parking lot Saturday morning because they didn't have the baggage handlers in time. We didn't get to park until 10:30 AM. Kaleigh was a bear at lunch and wouldn't eat much. We did not have her in FLounder's that night because it wasn't open. At midnight Kaleigh was throwing up, for the 1st time. Such fun. I think she slept with us again. She wouldn't sleep in the crib so the stateroom hostess made up the couch into a bed for her. Sunday, we ate brunch with Garry and Julie. We had a blast. That was the first of many laughs this trip! Kaleigh would not take a nap because everytime she fell asleep, somthing woke her up and she started screaming. Kaleigh decided not to eat or drink much because she was teething. Decided she didn't want Tylenol and we kept trying to hide it in stuff. She went into Flounder's every evening so that the 4 of us could get together. Sunday night we went to the comedy show/ventriloquist. Well, as luck would have it, the 4 of us ended up in the front row, ironically, because we were late. Jerry, looking good in his tux, got picked on. He eventually ended up on stage as the ventriloquists dummy. He had to move his mouth while the ventriloquist answered for him. I never laughed so hard in my life! Too bad neither of us had a video camera. Pictures won't do it justice. Jerry was very popular on the cruise the rest of the week. We really enjoyed Castaway. Me, Garry and Julie sat in chairs in the water while Jerry played with the kids. It was soo relaxing. The nicest day of the week. Kaleigh loved the sand and water. We met you guys in the parking lot on Saturday and led the way to WDW with Julie in hot pursuit. Sunday, we went to MNSSHP with the Lauter's. We bagged a ton of junk and some good stuff. It was a nice evening. We traded kids so we could go on rides. Me and Julie rode Space Mountain together, mommy time, while the guys watched the kids. We rode the conveyor belt all the way to the top. Monday, Kaleigh woke up with a cold. Monday night, she coughed so much that it woke her up and she threw up again. I was really ready to go home. Jerry got sick on Wednesday and had chills and stomache upset the whole 2 days drive home. Kaleigh was miserable in the back seat. I offered to drive, but Jerry said no. We got home Thursday, Jerry went back to work Friday and we ended up at the emergency room with Kaleigh's ear infecction that evening.
So, not the relaxing vacation I had hoped for. I did't even open my book. I did get my facial and my face thanked me for it. It looked much less red. We did buy a photo album that was on sale, Kaleigh got a cruiseline Minnie, I got more face creams and we bought a bunch of alcohol. We ended up bringing back Julie's alcohol and coconuts. What a lovely bunch of coconuts. I am sure I forgot things. We did go to St. Maartin. I upgraded my diamond bracelet that I bought last cruise. I got a pair of earrings and a new pendant. We finally got a nap for Kaleigh by the time we got back to the dock, but, it started POURING rain and we all got completely drenched and, of course, Kaleigh woke up screaming. We ate lunch on the island. We only walked around the shops at the port at St. Thomas. We did get our traditional Frosties at Wendy's by the dock. We did finally make a rushed visit for Bushwackers. They were good. After the way things had been going, I drank mine pretty fast. I didn't feel it either. We had a nice evening at Palo. Did any of you go to pub night at Diversions the last night? Another video camer needed! We alll laughed sooo hard.

If you can add anything Julie, feel free.

Let's see here....... we got to WDW on Wed. the 13th. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. We went to EPCOT on Thursday late morning and early afternoon. We always do spaceship earth as the first "ride". Our kids love EPCOT (wierd isn't it?). We went back to the villa for naps before we went to the MNSSHP. We had a great time and rode almost everything except the thrill rides.

Friday we did Magic kingdom and Epcot again. Makenzie and Garry got to do Stitch's great Escape. They had opened it up for an hour so they grabbed the opportunity to do it. Makenzie said she loved it! Garry thought it was alot like alien encounter. Had an early night because we wanted to get to the port.

Saturday got to the port, ate lunch at Parrot Cay with Denine's clan. Made it an early night since Flounders was only open until 10pm. Barb and Bob knocked at our cabin to say hi! They were about 3 doors down from us. Our servers were Girish (India) and Karoy(Hungary). They were very good especially Karoy. We got the wine package so we started our "nightly drinking" at dinner.

I'll post more about the cruise in another post. More events that it would take very long to type out in one post.

After meeting you guys in the parking lot, went back to Wilderness Lodge Villas and met up with Denine around 4:30pm.

Sunday, Denine forgot to tell you all, that we paraded down the main street at the Studios with the parade crowd lining the street! We just finished the Rockin Roller Coaster and decided to walk over to Epcot. So we started to head out and saw the "parade crowd"! I said Oh no, the parade is starting, let's go. We heard the parade coming (it was probably back by Monster Sound Show). Of course the street was LINED by watchers. SO, the smarties that we are, had a stroller parade!!! We walked down the middle of the street with the three strollers waving and dancing down the street! Yes we are nuts! Of course it was Garry who started it all! Go figure!! LOL!!

Well, that's it for right now. I'll type more later! Have a super friday!

Turner is definitely much better. I may even let him go to basketball practice this evening.

Paul should be home later this evening and then back out again Sunday morning to drive to Louisville.

Not a lot going on here except a mountain of makeup work for Turner and our weather did change!!!

Have a great day everyone - TGIF!!

Love ya!

The Disney Dudettes:earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: reunited at Los Amigos last night for food, margaritas & a look at pictures. Of course Joyce doesn't have hers developed yet & I still have photos left on the two disposable cameras I bought.

Sounds like everyone has great vacations. Just way too short!!

Bonnie wants to see if she can go on the Panama Canal Cruise:boat:. I am going to call in a little while & see if she can be added to our cabin. YEAH!!!!!!! The Dudettes are reunited! Sandy I am holding off on the linking dinner reservations until I see if I end up with a different reservation number.

I really have a million things to do today. I am thinking CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS TOO! I signed up to work Christmas Eve (don't think I'm good-hearted), they are paying double time. I am working 7 PM until midnight.

Miss you all. Don't expect me to post pictures - you know I'm not THAT computer literate. Have a great day. Toodles :wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Just spoke to the Disney Cruise Line & the cruise is "sold out" & they will not add a person to our cabin. Bonnie I'm sorry:sad:. I don't know if they have a "stand-by" or something like that.

Toodles :wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Wow Denine and Julie, sounds like you had a good vacation. Too bad Kaleigh was a little crabby and sick. I am so glad I met you guys in the parking lot because I can just picture you dancing in the street with the stroller parade!!! Pictures? Pictures...any pictures to share? I want to see your pictures!!!! Pictures of all your vacation!

Denine - I can picture Jerry up there on stage. I watched the ventriloquist and he did the same skit, he picked on a poor guy from Colorado. Thank god he didn't pick on me because I was sitting in the front row also!!! I would have been so embarrassed!!! Yes I also went to Pub night. That skit had me laughing and in tears. Definitely wished I had a video camera that night. I know Radar taped it so maybe I can get a copy from him.

Okay I have to ask, Julie why did you buy coconuts?

I want to hear more about the October 9th cruise. That includes you Barb and Sally. I also want to see pictures. I know you 2 scrapbook so I am sure you have plenty of pictures to show us!!!

Oh poor Bonnie, I think when it comes closer more people will drop out on the cruise and you can add her. Just keep checking. Now that means I can't even be added!!! (jk mom, I won't tag along on this cruise)

It's Friday, tomorrow is supose to be 72 degrees so we should have a great weekend. I hope everyone else has a great weekend.
