It is 12:30.....I just got up to go to the bathroom and looked out the window and it did SNOW......the ground is covered with about an inch or two.....welcome November! This brings me back to reality....when I got home from Fla I was thinking it sure doesn't seem like Thanksgiving will be here soon. The weather bug said we could have 5 inches by 6 in the morning.

Glad you all had a good time...but then how can you help it when you go to Disney. Was any of your luggage overweight? Linda's suitcase was 60 lbs and she had to pay $25.

I still have roses blooming, daisies, moss roses and a few other things....it is 26 so they won't be around long.

CONGRATULATIONS, SANDY!! You will be a wonderful grandmother! Give our best to Satcey, too!! And, CONGRATULATIONS to Heidi!! You are going to be a wonderful Aunt!! This is going to be one spoiled Disney baby. Nothing wrong with that!

I am so glad every one is back safe and sound. Sounds like everyone had a good time on their cruises despite a little sickness for some.

No snow here, we hit 82 yesterday and its's going to be 80 again today. As I type this, I can hear the birds chirping outside and it sounds more like spring!

Paul is going to be out of town quite a bit over the next two weeks so my schdudule is going to get more hectic. Turner is now on the school basketball team and practice starts this week. Between hockey practice and basketball practice, I am going to have very little time the next two weeks. If I don't post much, you guys will know why!

Bonnie, I really wish I knew what I could say or do to help you and your relationship with your DIL so you could spend more time with Olivia. You are missing out on so much and so is Olivia. You guys are in my prayers.

Sandy, please send me an email to tell me the non-postable things from the cruise! And, thanks again for having us on the cruise with you! Love ya!

I have been TRYING to get on the computer for about an hour. I don't know what's wrong with this darn computer. Where's Bonnie when you need her?

SUSAN: Just wanted to tell you that "THE SCHROLL'S" made it to dinner all dressed up & we also had you at our cabin.

Talked to my daughter & I am thinking about a little cruise when I am in Long Beach. There is a Royal Caribbean & a Carnival that both leave 1/3/05 & return 1/7/05 . It could be fun with lots of "bonding" time & we would still have time to go to Disneyland, etc.

SANDY: I see you got SNOW! I watched the weather report.

Hope you all have a great Monday. I am off to the Orthopedic Dr. with my Mom. Plumber is supposed to come today (I think one of the elements went on my hot water heater). The hot water doesn't last through one shower! Have fun!!!! Miss you all!!!! Toodles JEANNE

Hello everyone!!! I am back at work and of course it is snowing. I had to brush the snow off of my Pathfinder and didn't realize how much bigger it is than my last car until then!!! That thing can hold a lot of snow!!!!

I had such a great time. I loved meeting most of you, wish I could have met all of you!!! It's fun to be able to read the thread and be able to put a face with the name.

Susan and Krista - thanks for keeping our thread a live, Susan you really can hold your liquor Way to go Turner on the shutout!!!

Geez Sally, sounds like your crew had an interesting time coming back to home. I would be furious!!! Glad you all had a great time.

This cruise was most definitely the best cruise I have been on. I couldn't ever imagine cruising alone anymore without such great friends. It was so hard to say goodbye!!!

I am shocked that when I got on this thread there was no mention of Radar, I was sure that one of the Oct. 23 cruisers would have teased me by now!!!

Just to rub it in some more......I got to take a bath in the Walt Suite Jet Tub, and take a shower with the double headed shower all while watching TV!!! Too bad my legs are still looking bad, slowly they are looking like the are healing. (My legs were badly bit by bugs in Costa Maya and they are nasty and red and huge bumps...not a pretty sight!!!)

Mexico has still not impressed me, I will gladly not go back there anymore!!! The only port that was calling my name on the Western cruise was Grand Cayman, the Mexico ports were not and I have no desire to go back!!! But if I have to sacrifice and go to Mexico just to get back on the ship, I will gladly do it and not get off the boat in Mexico!!!!

Sally, a lady in front of me had to pay 50.00 because her luggage was only 11 pounds over. What a scam! She tried telling them that she was sharing it with her son but they didn't care. I really feel for Patty/Patti!

Heidi's legs are totally gross. Sure wish I could have taken a bath in the suite BUT it isn't worth it to have those legs!

Susan, when I get a moment I will write the secrets in an email. Quite honest, you, Paul and Turner made it all around the cruise. You were quite active. Love you!

Jeanne, a mini cruise sounds wonderful. Cruises certainly are a bonding time.

Bonnie, don't stay away from this thread because of being bummed. We are here for you. We can all help you through this. I know you pretty well, huh?

Ok, did anyone weigh themselves since getting home?? I put on 10, Ted 18 and Heidi something like 6. I DON'T WANT TO WEIGH IN ON FRIDAY. They have never cruised so they won't understand. YUCK!

Bonnie, I wish there was something I could say to help. I have been soooooooooo tempted to call Ryan and ask him what the **** is wrong with him!!!! YOU NEED TO BE IN OLIVIA's LIFE and SHE NEEDS YOU!!! If your DIL is upset with you or whatever her problem is, then I would call your son and tell him that you are going to pick up Olivia for some Grandma time. THen you won't have to deal with her. Don't let them squeeze you out of Olivia's life. That is not fair to either of you! If your son and DIL want to act like children, then you need to ground them!! LOL! Obviously you need to step up and stop their childish behavior. This has gone on long enough!! YOur in my thoughts and prayers! Let us know how things are going! Pixie Dust your way!!

HEIDI: So Radar is in love?

The plumber has been here & it is NOT one of the elements but he reset the thermostat. We shall see. The repairman was here for the dryer too! That needs a new timer which has to be ordered. He says it should come to about $150.00 with installation. My house is self destructing!

It is just to bad about my Florida hair. It really spoils the picture. Wow, poor you. All the repairs. When it rains it pours!

Wow, Jeanne. When I put your name into Shutters it came back good for only 30 days and only one picture. They used to be very generic and good forever and whatever amount of pics you want. I can't see however why you couldn't re submit it again for a different date or go to different Kodak places. Anyway I sent it to you two different ways. Hope you at least get one of them.

In all fairness my DIL never said I couldn't see Olivia...it is just that I am expected to go over there. She will not or never said that she would bring her over here to my home.
I have refused to go to their house after the insult of mine not being "suitable" for Olivia. Funny, Ryan was raised here and he was good enough to marry. And he seemed perfectly happy here when growing up. Anyone who has been to my home could see that there is nothing wrong with it. I may need new carpeting (on my list of to do's), ceilings need painting (no I have not painted my bedroom or spare room ceiling yet!) but other that that nothing wrong with it.
I have put up with this type of antic for over 3 years now and have just had it. This last one has really put me over the edge.

Jeanne-wouldn't it be worth it to add some money to that $150 and get a new dryer? I hope your heat works soon...you don't need a new heater bill at this time with a wedding in the near future.

Heidi-I wish he met you first but alas he didn't. I could live with him being in CO...at least I could see you all more often!!!!

BONNIE: My dryer is less than five years old! It is an electric dryer so it would be more than $150.00 to replace it.
After my shower this AM I will let you know the verdict on the hot water heater which is only eight years old. I guess my house would be UNACCEPTABLE for Olivia to visit.

SANDY: I will check my e-mail when I am done posting. I think you look SOOOOO thin in the Halloween pictures & your hair is just fine.

It is raining here today and is expected to continue. We will go vote when Jerry gets home.

Kaleigh is finally feeling better. Didn't have to give her any ear drops today, so far.

We never got our Halloween pics taken. Didn't have time. No big deal. Jerry took most of the non-chocolate to work yesterday and it was gone by noon. It was in one of those orange Mickey bags. He took a bunch more to work this morning, chocolate, and it was gone by 8 AM. What a bunch of oinkers!

Sandy: I printed off the Shutters release form too, thanks!

Vacation was not the relaxing, rejuvinator I had hoped for and it has been nuts since we got home. Can I go away for a couple of days by myself??????

Denine, how funny. I feel the same way. I now need a vacation. It has been so hectic here. Want to hear the latest on me?? I ordered something from WDW last night for Stacey (a maternity top) over the phone. When I got up this morning, I couldn't find my credit card I used. I have searched and searched and Ted has also. Soooo...I called the bank and they cancelled the card and will send a new one. How crazy is that?

I agree Heidi, don't give Radar this thread.

Jeanne, Ted made the comment too about how thin I look in the picture. Sure wish it was true! I am seriously contemplating having my hair straightened with a new EXPENSIVE technique for the Panama Canal cruise. At least I wouldn't have to worry about it 24-7. I felt sorry for you guys because that is all I would talk about. Sorry about that! I am so self conscious over it.

How did everyones pics turn out?

I got a phone message from Faith this morning so I will have to call her when Graci is napping. She sounded so tired but she said everything is ok with them.

Good morning everyone. An early start for me for a Wed. I have a Dr appt at 8:00 and then a dentist appt at 11:00. The dentist appt is ALL Disney's fault!!! I got a sugar daddy sucker while trick or treating at MK. So......on Sunday I indulged. While so enjoying the flavor I felt something hard in my mouth. Come to find out it took off my CROWN. Ok, so it is my fault BUT Disney did give it to me!!

Talked to Faith yesterday for a very long time. They all have colds now. Michael really didn't enjoy WDW as much as the cruise. The concierge at the Grand Floridian wasn't as good as last time so she was a little disappointed in that. Their room was perfect. The castle at MK was directly centered in their window. They have asked for the same room this June for Kristy's b-day.
