I'm back, Krista. You posted! Yippeee! I was so glad to see you kept it our little "home for family" alive. I guess the first round cruisers are not home yet and the second round cruisers enjoyed their first full day.
Turner's team came in 2nd place in the tournament this weekend. They lost the final game by 1 goal. The first game this morning, Turner got a shutout!! This is the same rink in Charlest9on where he got a shutout last year. Obviously, he loves it there!
I got to get to laundry but I wante to say I was home!!

I just checked my email and had a special surprise from Sandy. She sent me a picture from her phone to show me she has the us on the cruise with her.
Sandy - thank you! You don't know how special that was for me. (you did get a few tears out of me) I do wish I was there with you guys if only for a minute to give you a big hug. Thank you for thinking of us! We really are a wonderful family! Love you!

Hi Susan and Krista...are you guys all alone on the board? We got home last night about l0:30. This has been the wildest vacation I have ever been on......first Julie, Patti's daughter and her son and her friend got sick and had to stay in their cabin for 2 or 3 days....they kept calling their room and dropping by to make sure they were still in the room.
Well going back, we got to Orlando just fine and met up with Linda and went to the VH of Barb's. She was there waiting for us. '
Patti called and they, all ll missed the plane, and they got in in the afternoon. It is a long story but I will never fly Delta again. I have had 2 bad experiences with them and Patti had this one and two more to follow on the return trip of her kids. When they got to the airport there wasn't anyone to check them in and 20 minutes before the plane left someone showed up and said it was to late for them to board....Patti will have to tell you the whole story but it ended up she had to buy ll more tickets for $3300 one way and her round trip had been $3400.
When her kids tried to leave Sunday they had canceled their flight because they missed the first one. Patti had checked and they said they were all booked for the return flight so I don't know how Patti and Ken will make out Wed. It ended up costing her another $l00 a person to fly out Monday.
But she had told me she had a ball anyway and so did Julie even though she missed her brother giving his girlfriend an engagement ring at dinner one night. We had a birthday one night, and engagement one night, a shower for missy one night and a cake for Dick and I for our anniversary. I bet the people around us thought we were making everything up.
Barb had her normal blisters....me too but I was ok after we left for the cruise but my ankle started swelling and by the time I got home I can hardly walk....it is so swollen and I have no idea what I did to it. It was so hard walking around the parks Sat and Sun but I did it...which probably wasn't the smartest thing I could have done as it was so bad last night it was out of shape. I am going to try to stay off it today.....yeah, right like my bags are going to unpack themselves and jump in the washer.
I saw Denine several times on the ship but didn't really get to talk to her.....I don't really know her and felt funny stopping her and talking to her so we just said hi....
We stayed at the Beach club before the cruise and Saratoga Springs when we got back....that is one huge place....like a small town...they are going to over l000 units according to a guy that was on the bus with us.
Dick is picking Jaymee and Missy up in Denver this afternoon and Bob and Barb Wed. We flew into the Springs and that is another story too. The weather was so bad in Dallas they closed the airport and we flew around in a circle until they let us in so we were 4 hours late getting home.
Better stop...looks like I wrote a book

Oh, I had a wonderful time and glad to be back home safe and sound after a very bumpy flight.
Since Sally is now home I guess I can stop drinking all of the beer!!
Welcome home to Sally and barb and Patti and the rest of the crew. I hope even with some of the inconveniences you all had a fantastic vacation.
Sally, you really should have stopped Denine to talk to her. Remember, we are all family from the original cruise!

We did talk in passing but never had a conversation....and I never did see Julie and Gary. Barb said she saw them once.
You can still drink my share of the beer...
We had signs on our doors with the reunion-annv. and when we got back to Disney World a lady asked Linda if we just got off the cruise. She said she saw our signs like the shirt Linda had on. They were staying on the deck 6 and said that was the way she found their room.....
I started my album this evening and have the first cruise page just about done. Between all of us we took over 4800 pictures. Dick downloaded them on his laptop and I have been going through them. We will put them on cd's and mail copies to everyone in the family.
It is ll and I am tired so guess I will say goodnight!

I knew you could do it Susan!! I would like to get the scrapbook done by Thanksgiving when we go down to Patti's so I can take it and patterns for Patti and the girls if they want to use any.
My foot is still swollen so I can't do much else but scrapbook.....I felt achy this morning like I was getting what Julie, Shelia and Dylan had on the boat, but I had the flu shot so it must just be I am still tired.
Barb, Bob and Tiff get home today. Dick has to go to Denver to get them. Missy and Jaymee came in yesterday and he picked them up and took Missy's dog along as she has missed her a lot.
Patti, Ken, Julie and the 4 boys get home today too. I think maybe Patti will be more anxious to get home this trip....lol.
I just hope they don't have the problems with their flight that the other kids did when they tried to leave. I think if they have any problems Patti will just about tear the airport apart....she has really been pushed to her limit this time.

We had hockey practice and basketball skills/tryouts this evening. Glad to be home and back to beer drinking!

We have hockey practice again tomorrow evening and they are also taking team pictures. It will be another late night for us. We'll be home Friday evening and then leave early Saturday morning for Raleigh. I think the hotel we are staying in has free internet, so I should be able to post some over the weekend.
It sure is quiet. I really miss having more of us posting. The second round cruisers will start coming home this weekend.
We have very cloudy, yucky weather so we will not see the lunar eclipse live here. I bet seeing it from the ship would be awesome! We'll have to ask them when they get home if they got to see it. Let me know if you get to see it in Colorado, Sally.

Hi Susan, Krista, and Sally! We got home on Monday afternoon, but we were so busy with the two starting school up again yesterday. Everyone here right now is getting over something we all got on this trip. The Big Guy threw up yesterday afternoon when he got home from pre-school and then early this morning Makenzie threw up (2:30am in my hallway of course!) so she didn't go to school today. Brooke has just been crabby and just not herself. I'm going to take her tomorrow to the Dr.'s cause I think that she might have an ear infection! With her "heart condition" we have to get her on anti's if she does have one.
Other then that, we had a super time! The weather was wonderful both on the cruise and before and after it. We did meet up with Sandy, Bonnie, Ted, Heidi, Jeanne and Joyce in the parking lot before their cruise. It was a nice visit, short, but very nice to see almost everyone again!
Sally, we did look for you, but we just never caught up with you. We saw Barb several times. SHe stopped by the cabin since we were a few doors down. THen we saw her in Rockin Bar D a few times, the repeat cruisers reception (we also meet up with Patti then too) and we shouted hello from our verandahs.
