Hi guys, Julie just called and talked to Heidi from the Magic. Barb and Bob stopped by to say hello. They saw her door sign. She said that there was a little problem in the parking lot today and we might have problems meeting next weekend. Don't know what that is about. They all had to sign waivers because there is a camera crew aboard so that is pretty cool!

I talked to Stacey and boy did it ever pour down at CC yesterday. They got stuck at Cookies BBQ for 2 hours. The whole trip was pretty overcast but they DID have a good time.

Gonna run and bring up two palms. Bye

I missed the sail away! I was on my way to the mall to pick up my new perfume.

I am now a brunette with blond highlights. You all might not recognize me. The problem is under florescent lights it looks a little greenish!!

Well Sandy that's what Stacey gets for not wanting to go on the cruise with us!!

Picked up panty hose today. Tried on my formal again...I am happy with it. It doesn't look too bad. Although that was when I was still a blonde. I don't know how it will look with my new hair color.

Lots to do before next weekend! Pam promised to assist tomorrow with my little surprise for all! That will be a chore!

Got in late but had a good time at the race. Turner loved it.

Bonnie, you need to send me a picture of the new you. I bet I won't recognize you with the new look!

Sorry Stacey had the rain at CC. But, at least she got to go there. I hope the rest of her trip was wonderful.

Today I get to do my housework and help Turner study for a science test. Hope you all get to do more than me today!

Just taking a minute from work to say "Hello". My cold has gotten progressively worse. I am planning going straight from work to bed but not before taking Nyquil to knock this out! I'm afraid they won't let me on the ship

Susan - I watched the beginning of the race....started out interesting. Who ended up winning...Newman? My driver is #38, last time I watched last night he was #3. I'm jealous, Chris and I would have loved to have gone to the race.

It was fun to hear from Julie yesterday, right now they should be in Key West, I'm jealous but hey I will be there in a week!!!

Every time I tried to get back on to post yesterday afternoon I got a server error - too busy try back later. Glad it's working fine this morning.

Heidi - Jimmie Johnston won the race. Kayce Kane led the amjority of the race and had the fastest car but then something broke and he went into the wall. We were pulling for #17, Matt Kenseth, since we have a friend that works for him.

I worked with Turner all day yesterday to get him ready for his science test. I think he is ready. I know I am. I know all about ecosystems, habitats, the food chain, etc.

I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. Turner has hockey practice this evening but I wills till try to get on and post.

Hope this week's cruisers are having a great time and great weather!

I need a reminder when al of you are leaving me this week. Roll call!! That way I'll now when I will be chatting with myself!

Finally, this week has come!! I can finally day this week I leave for Florida!!!

Susan - I take off Friday morning. Kayce Kane and Matt Kenseth is Chris's drivers. He just goes with Kane because he replaced his all time favorite driver Bill Elliott.

My best friend is back here from Florida, her grandpa passed away yesterday at 2:00am, she missed seeing him by a few hours. She will keep me busy until I leave. It's going to be weird to have her here in my state when I will be over in her state this weekend!!! That timing was bad!!! She is doing good though. She is a little mad at Frontier Airlines because they were supose to have someone help her off the plane and no one was there. This 105 lb girl had to carry a big car seat, her 11 month old son, and the big diaper bad all by herself with no one offering to help her out. That is why her, her mom, and her Sister in law called in advance to ask for help, but unfortunately no one helped her.

Jeanne - are you feeling better?

Bonnie - what exactly is the "project?"

Bonnie, it wouldn't hurt to ask for the steroids. Jeanne needs to go to the dr. too.

I am sooooo tired. Just not sleeping again. I am too excited. Busy thinking about all the fun things ahead and all the don't forget to pack stuff. I get Graci tomorrow so I hope she is good and I can get things done. I cleaned all day yesterday. All I have left are the floors. She loves to do floors. Unfortunately when I sweep she redistributes my pile. It just isn't anything that I look forward to.

3 1/2 more days of work!!! I can't wait!!! Just about all packed. Gonna call Jeanne or Joyce today or tomorrow to see if they can help me carry my "project" to FL...otherwise I will have to pack another small bag...may do that anyway.

So much to do so little time!!

Jeanne! GET BETTER SOON! Had one nurse call out today due to a bad cold. For once I was happy someone stayed home! I think I will start taking zinc.

Sandy, please do not feel guilty about going on the cruise and leaving me behind. Remember, I went last year without all of you guys! We will see each other again. Maybe on a ship, maybe not but you must go and have a great time!

I'll be in Charleston, SC this weekend for a hockey so I won't be on the boards alone - I won't be there at all! By Monday, maybe Sally, Barb and crew, Denine & Jerry & Makenzie or Julie & Garry & crew will be back.

Heidi, sorry to hear about Taura's grandfather. I'm glad you get to see her this week but I wish the circumstances were different.

Bonnie, you have to send me an email so I will know what your project is. I promise I won't tell but I just HAVE to know!

I went to the doctor today and had a bad looking mole looked at. Probably nothing but of course it needed a biopsy. I guess I'll end up with one more indentation on my back from a surgeon before it is over! Too much sun without sunscreen in my younger days!

Everybody needs to stay well so you have a great trip!!

I'll try to post again in the morning but we don't have hockey practice until the weekend so I'll be around to send my Bon Voyage wishes to you all one by one!

Hi Everyone,

Just got back from 11 glorious days in St.Thomas!!!

Too bad we missed everyone on the "Mickey Boat". They should have great weather.

St. Thomas was a little warm, until the Trade Winds kicked in about Thursday night.

It sure brought back a lot of memories seeing all of the cruise ships in the harbor.

We are set to return in May, maybe we can time it for the Panama Canal folks

Hope all are well, or getting well for their cruises and Halloween.

Wow Krista 11 days in St. Thomas, that sounds so nice and relaxing!!!

Well I attempted to pack last night because I am supose to go out with my friend tonight, but wasn't very successful at completing it. There is just too much to pack so I guess I will do some today before I go out and then finish it up on Thursday!!! Yesterday was so busy, no time to sit down until bedtime, I feel tonight will be the same way.

Woke up this morning feeling sick again. I have now moved to DayQuil, hopefully that will take care of it.

Hi guys, just wanted to pop in and say "have a great trip!!!" to the cruisers and "Hi" to everyone else.

My kids are out of school this week and I stuffed it full of appts and jobs that didn't get finished over the summer. Cutting up the redwood from the old deck and taking it out to my folks land for campfire wood, 'preparing a plot' eg:digging a hole, covering it with boards and throwing the turf back over- for when our big lab croaks she's getting old and I just know she'll pick the dead of winter complete with frozen tundra to fly off from this old body.
Cody started on the 10 hours of psych testing with two 2hr sessions yesterday. He's such a good sport. Katie gets fitted for contacts today. Man, I could have paid for a cruise with these new bills.
Oh, talk about impulse shopping, I must really be needing a warm beach vacation. Yesterday I bought a 7 foot set of three artificial palm trees all lighted up as Christmas palms. It looked so cool in the store window! Just had to have it. So, that's coming out of vacation fund too. Maybe I can whip up some tropical drink and lay under it in my swimsuit ... with the heater on high. LOL I'll be thinking of you cruisers in a nice port.

Gee Mom, you were talkative this morning!!! Ya not feeling too hot. I think I am catching what everyone has had at work for the last month. I stayed away from it as far as a I could, but I think it has caught up to me. I am thinking maybe taking a sick day to sleep and feel better so that I will be okay in Florida. Stay away from me, my stomach is upset and I am eating saltine crackers w/ warm 7-up. Bad sign!!!
