October 19th Cruisers again and again...

I am still here today and tomorrow. It doesn't feel like we are leaving on Thursday.

We got some more packing done last night. Ijust did Kaleigh's laundry, so I can finish packing for her. I tried on my dresses last night.

Got the trip tik yesterday. Today we go grocery shopping for last minute stuff.

Heidi: You sound much more excited about the house than the townhouse. Tell about it please.

Sally: Can't wait to see you guys either. Plus we have a meet with the others between cruises.

Sandy: You did great with just about getting to your goal. You still have 1 more week before the cruise.

I need to check my PM for my name.

Bonnie: what a pain to get to your mom. At least you found her!

Wow I was suprised to see you Denine, I thought you were leaving today too!!!

The house I am looking at is considered a started home for single families. It is 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bath. The main floor is the living room, dining room, kitchen, 1/2 bath, and laundry and then has stairs to go up to the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths (master bath and bath for the 2 other rooms). The 2 baths upstairs has double sinks and the master has a deep soaking tub (not a garden tub but a regular bath tub that is deeper). 9' ceilings with a basement, fireplace, and a front porch with a small back yard. The back yard is in between the garage and the house so unfortunalely the garage is not attached. The floor plan is very open. I love it!!! Sq. footage wise is a little smaller than the townhome and of course the price is more but I think it is well worth it. In the townhome the main floor was smaller but the bedrooms were larger. I like the downstairs in the house a lot more that the townhome!!

Mom - I am doing a little better!! Nightime seems to be the hardest time for me plus sometimes in the mornings!! I think I am more worrying about how you and dad feel and I don't want to make you upset and cry.

I got my name for the exchange so now I am ready to shop!!! I just need to stop shopping for myself!!!!

Heidi...speaking as a Condo/Townhome owner I think you will be mush happier and the resale should be better. Is it in an area that has a desirable school district? That helps a lot with value.

Well...I guess Sally is in sunny Florida...I just wish it was me! I knew I should have bought a lottery ticket!

Sandy-you are certainly close enough to your mini goal!!!! I think you did great!! I just may stick a couple of 14's in just in case you migh like them! You know...those "cute Capris"

Hi everyone! Packing is done! Now it is clean up the house time!!! It looks like every closet and drawer threw up!!!! Not to mention the dishes in the sink But that is what tonight and tomorrow is for! Our fight leaves at 7:10 pm. It is none stop so we should get to Orlando about 9:30pm.

THE KIDS ARE DRIVING ME NUTS!!!! They are excited and are following me around like lost puppies! Trying to get things done around here with the three of them........ is like how much of a chance the Titanic had at staying afloat! At this rate, Sandy,Heidi, Ted, Jeanne, Joyce, and Bonnie..... you might just have a stateroom surprise! I think Sandy will get her wine buddy! LOL!!!

My mom is back from Florida, so she said she will take them around 7pm for an hour or so so I can get some stuff done! Garry worked a double last night (didn't get home until 2pm today) so he REALLY needs this vacation!

I try to get on tomorrow to say goodbye. We are taking our lap top, so we hope to check in a few times! I'm gonna try to get on the internet on the ship too to say hi!

Heidi, You really seem more excited about this home then the townhouse. Don't worry about the "empty nest thing" ask Garry, I still talk to my mom everyday and try to see her at least 3 times a week.

Julie, I will take that wine buddy. One always needs a drinking buddy! I can sympathize with you. My kid is driving me nuts about this trip too. Can't seem to shake Heidi. Tonight she was trying to get me to PACK. Crazy kid!

Bonnie, no.....save your 14's cuz you will be there again someday soon. Besides that you aren't that far off. Thanks for the thought. I am in between a 14 and 16. I can wear Liz Claiborne size 14 jeans but in a Lee jean, I am in a 16. Guess which pair I am taking with me. Nah, you can't get THAT sick again. Christmas will be a good one this year!

I am excited whose name I got. Lots of deciding now!

Denine, I thought you were gone as well. You made me tired just reading what you had to do.

I started some packing but there is SOOOOOOO much. I still need to pick up a few last minute things - black gloves, tiara, shawl, etc. I am VERY excited.

Off to work again tomorrow. Dentist on Thursday. Need a pedicure. There is no TIME LEFT!

Ya it's me that wanted to start packing last night!!! I figure pack now and the trip will come sooner right? My mom didn't seem to go for it, although I think secretly she wanted to pack too!! I am sure I will ask her again tonight if we can start packing, I figure if you pre-pack then you won't forget anything!!! Maybe I will just haul up my suitcase from downstairs today and that will make my mom pack with me!!

I just want to know which one of you is the guilty party. I woke up this morning all stuffy with a headache. I am taking decongestants, ibuprofen and now I am drinking hot tea. Why now????????????

Heidi: The house sounds great! I say, go for it! I moved out when I got married at 23. I talk to my mom more now.

The packing is almost done. Just last minute stuff now. I did laundry all morning, vacuumed and I still have to swiffer the bathrooms.

When you ask Kaleigh where she is going on vacation she says "minnie, boat" She can't say Mickey yet.

I just bought a new pair of jeans from Land's End. They are 14's but a little more snug than I would like. I weighed myself this morning and I didn't lose anything.

I am excited about getting 2 new kitties when we come home from vacation. I have been checking out the cats in the shelters on line. There are several very nice sounding ones.

I hope everyone has a safe trip down and I can't wait to see you.

Well this is it! The car is packed for the airport and boarding passes are printed!!!!! We leave in 2 hours! I will be glad when we are IN Florida. The2 older ones are fine on the air[lane, but Brooke...... I hope she will be as good as well!

Susan, you better be on the side of the for Denine to pick you up! I'm counting on it!! You will be with me !! As will all of you!!

Will see the rest of you next Sat!!!!! I'll be the one they are rolling off the ship because I have eaten WAY to MUCH!!!

Mom - I was talking with Mychele and we were talking about the house and the emotions that goes along with it. I asked her if she had any bright intelligent words of wisdom and guess what she told me.....It's harder to move out of your parents house when you are 40!!!! She is funny. She wants me to go horseback riding with her Saturday morning depending on the weather. I love the nail polish I borrowed from you, it looks so good. Do you want to go take pictures of the house today after work?

I hate KIA's, especially red ones that don't start!!! I can't wait to get rid of this stupid rental car tomorrow!!!

Late night at work...my favorite associate may be on vacation but I am still being haunted by her errors!!! Attacked this morning by one of Teri's people wanting to know when we are going back to the way we used to do things...if they didn't change she would have to take desparate measures...I wanted to say please do!!! She is beyond retirement age and does nothing more than data enter!!

Heidi-sounds like you may put a bid in on that house...don't wait too long or it may get sold. DS sold his within a month.

Hey! I won one of the United Way prizes at work!! Not the one I would have liked but still I won! A terrific Gym bag...may use to pack my cruise shoes, a $25 gift cert. to Foot Locker and 5 passes to the Health club across the street from work...do you think they are trying to tell me something????

As Glenn said 10 more days!!! Boy do I need this cruise!!!

Just to let you all know, Heidi probably won't be getting the house. She is being very careful about the amount of the mortgage payment and it would exceed it. They are trying to do creative financing but she is too smart for that. Thank goodness. Maybe after the cruise she will try for the townhouse but right now she just wants to go on the cruise.

Well, at least I know who to blame for my cold now.

I understand about not wanting to over extend on a mortgage. We did creative financing, but we went in to it with a plan. Plus, we are older than Heidi and have more resources.

I am trying to stay up for the debate, but I don't know. My head is stuff and hurts and I am tired. Jerry made me some tea with vodka in it. I don't have any whiskey.

Jerry is packing the car. Kaleigh is in bed.

We will leave around 5 AM tomorrow.

I had a heck of a day at work & am really glad it is OVER!

SANDY: I am "borrowing" the tiara & buying the gloves. I figure this is my one & only tiara time but I may actually wear long black gloves again.

DENINE: Feel better! I have a "little" cold but don't blame me. I have been taking Tylenol Sinus but then it gives me a sore throat. Need to be fully recovered by the 21st.

HEIDI: I started packing & have decided I don't think everything will fit ! Could be a problem!

Off to the Dentist tomorrow for my permanent crown, then to Mom's, still need my pedicure, etc. The COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN.... Have a great Thursday. Toodles JEANNE
