There is another show starting like Trading Spouses called Wife Swap....I want to know why they seem to pick fat mamas to trade on Trading Spouses....with fat husbands. Must be true Americans are fat.....lol And some of the kids are too....

I can't believe yesterday I thought I would have a heat stroke and today I am in a sweatshirt....it is raining right now....

Tonight is my kind of tv night......I'm all ready to yell at the tv because I don't like the winners. I like the Apprentice.....already I have a couple that get on my nerves...heehee. I read where Staci talked to reporters at the Emmy Award and it was in breech of her contract so she is in trouble....she really is a loose cannon ball....

Fireplace going, popcorn, drink and reality tv...what more could you ask for......

I have always wanted to ride a horse on the beach, but this trip I don't have anyone that would go with me.

Count me in Heidi!!! I'll go riding with you...do you think they have an English saddle? I did ride on a beach once in CA...with my cousins.

Horrible day at work...had to put on a dog and pony show for one of the larger accounts. Then a late call from the MD...just letting me know that she denied something on someone well know on the international racing (car) circuit...be prepared for exec. inquiry she tells me. Geez! Then more member and personel problems. I looked like I had been through you know where and back again by the end of the day then off to the dentist!! Calgon!!!!!!!!

Mom you are one busy lady!!!

Now Barb...how much of a help are men anyway when packing for a trip? Glenn throws his stuff in the night before! Easier to do it yourself...make sure he has pink shirts with lavendar shorts and plenty of blck socks to wear with sandals. You know...stuff like Garry would wear!!!

Bonnie, wow, what a day you had. You do need that calgon! Hoping that the snow does come down this far. May have snow showers. Utah got hit with it pretty bad. Your color combinations are exactly what Garry would wear. I can just picture him all stylin' and all.

Yippie.....I have faith in the shows again.....Kim and Chip are the big winners and are a nice couple....Drew won and he was the better of the worse I think....the good ones got kicked out...without a doubt Amazing Race is not for the weak....I was feeling the stress and I was only watching......hard to believe that another Amazing Race starts in a couple weeks.

It is now 39 degrees out at l0:20....I brought two ferns in today and hung in my bedroom so they wouldn't get killed.....

My friend got l2 pages done today on her daughters wedding album....I have two more pages to do to finish Barb' album. It was one of those things I had started and put up and did other albums but I am pretty sure her marriage is here to stay so am finishing it....heehee....I kept telling my friend she would love to scrapbook but she isn't into much in the way of creative things and didn't think she would like it but she is really hooked....she is coming back tomorrow at 9 to work on her album some more. She worked today over 6 hours.

I am going to bed and hopefully staying there....can't do many of the short nights at a time.

Sandy the fireplace was nice but didn't do the popcorn....we ate late and wasn't hungry for it so you didn't miss much.

Bonnie, the reason we don't pack until the last minute is because we're not sure if there will be enough room to pack anything after the women are done with their clothes! And it's white shirts with black socks! Sheesh!

Bonnie - When I read your post, you really made my day and trust me I really needed to have a pick me up. I was excited that you would go horseback riding with me. I doubt they would have an English saddle though. I am doing some research to see what is available out there for horseback riding.

I had such a bad day yesterday. My own twin sister, screwed me over for her inlaws that are living with her, and we just got a "behind the scenes" email from my boss who is in DC for the month. It looks as if the Bush Administration is developing a budget plan to outsource Finance and Human Resources in FY 2006, which is next October. They want to contract these out to businesses to help out businesses. Forget about all the people who will lose their job, like me. Chris read the letter and he thinks it reads that no matter who is President it looks like they are going in this direction of outsourcing. If you want a copy of the email and maybe you could help me understand, just let me know.

Now I don't know if I buy a townhome or not due to possibly losing my job.

Lori - I could really use a margarita now!!! I have next friday off, October 1, maybe you, my mom , and I can meet up for lunch then.

I am in a bum mood due to all this. Last night, and again today. Must do cruise research to get me out of my mood. Have a great day everyone.

Thank goodness I decided to book this cruise!!! I have now booked my Mears transportation from the airport to All Star Movies. It is done with and paid for!!! I don't think $17 is bad for one way. I hope this months goes by fast, I really need this cruise.

Sally - I was so excited that Chip and Kim won and that Drew one. I really wanted Will to win, but Drew atleast tried to play the game instead of completely ride coat tails and be a snitch!!! I didn't know another Amazing Race was coming on in a few weeks, must have turned the channel too soon. Yea, more reality shows to watch!!! I can't believe Colin and Kristy got the towncar driver to drive on the shoulder!!! That is so dangerrous and wrong in so many ways, I wish there would have been a police officer!!

I'm here for you Heidi! I've been around, but too busy or down to post. I had my cat scan yesterday so I should know something next week.

Heidi, I wouldn't start worrying yet. With gov't, everything LOOKS good on paper, but when they try todo it,it doesn't work. I would keep my feelers out, but don't get stressed out yet. From what you posted it was 2006 right? Well, that's a year and a half away A LOT of thing could change! Plus, remember ....... You're a hottie....... and you could get another job in a wink of an eye !!

Brooke has a HORRIBLE cold! She has had it for about 3 days now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. The other 2 had a cold, but seems to have gotten better. I sure hope she will be better forKaleigh's birthday or maybe she will have to stay with grandma and grandpa. Garry has to work. This will be his 5 double in 6 weekends!!!

Bonnie, you have awakened a sleeping giant...... you're on your own! LOL!

I'm here between cleaning the kitchen, cooking and scrapbooking with my friend. I got the bug to change the things in the kitchen around..I do this every fall and spring. I made beef stew and an apple pie for dinner....things that sound good in the fall!!

Heidi, yeah I know, where is the cops when you need one...if I had been driving you can be sure they would have been there.
Wonder if 2nd and 3rd got money too....

Tonight is another good tv night for us reality show junkies....

Bonnie - some of the other DISers on our cruise signed up for the noon horseback riding on Costa Maya. I haven't signed up yet because I wasn't sure when you wanted to do it or if noon was okay with you. They said that you have to put down a deposit when you make the reservations online and pay the rest in cash when you get there. I can get the website if we want to try and do it at noon. I guess it is 8 horses allowed on a trip.

Sally - I leave work in an hour, I hope you post by then so I don't miss any shows tonight.

Well, I did post even before Julie did. Can't remember what I said about Garry p ), I said I felt so bad for Heidi, Bonnie was so sweet about the horseback riding, Lori and drinks, I was happy about the turnout on the reality shows and I can't remember it all. I will not repeat myself. Sorry!

Denine, I was scared to weigh in today because I gained a pound last time due to mexican food on Sunday and then today with the cold weather, I had to go in heavy blue jeans and weigh in. I did fine. I lost the pound I gained. Still at 16 pound loss. We ordered our MNSSHP for the 22nd about a week ago. We don't have them yet. We are still waiting on docs, MNSSHP and park hopper passes. I will have my nose pressed to the door everytime I hear a truck go by.

I sent an email out to Jeanne to check on her. It is so unlike her not to check in for so many days in a row.

It has been a really hectic weekend & week. I will catch up on the postings later...

Worked Sunday, Monday & Tuesday & then had a Union Meeting Tuesday night after work & the other nights I had to go to the hospital to see my Mom. She is much better & in a rehab. hospital so I visited her early today but then my son bought a new Toyota Solara & I had to sign, etc. etc. etc. Just got home around 8:30 PM & talked to my "COWBOY" & he asked me to go to the rodeo with him on Saturday night YA-HOO!

There is just TOO MUCH going on! Can't wait for the cruise

I suppose Bonnie told you how much fun we had at the wedding The weather could have cooperated a little more but it was a great time. The groom's family from Ireland are really enjoying the sun we have been having lately. I don't think they will want to go back to the clouds & rain
