Jeanne, Joyce and Bonnie, I was way off base on my All Stars. It DID NOT include tickets. After a night of research Heidi and I came to the conclusion that a two day park hopper would be an additional 119 per per person. Dreams contacted me and got the room for 251.00 total without passes. I would add on passes online. I think we are going to do it. What about all of you???? Just haven't decided if we are going to add on park hopper passes or not. Is it worth it or should we just swim and go downtown and spend the 32.00 for MNSSHP? Jeanne, I am like you.....I want this done!

For those Oct 23rd cruisers, the MNSSHP is a not to be missed!!! You all will have a blast!!! The parade is a not to be missed! I will look for the tape I took of it and send it to you Sandy or Jeanne or whoever if you want to see it.

Just to let you all know, there is ANOTHER TS Jeanne in the carribean! It is south of the brittish virgin islands! I don't care about it just as long as we can still cruise and get to Castaway Cay. We shall see!

Gonna go, gonna try to work out for a little while before I go to bed. Will check in tomorrow, I PROMISE!!

P.S. if you guys are looking to rent a car, let me know and I can give you a few different codes for different car places to help with the cost. We got one for the entire time we are down there. We will leave it at the port and pay the $70 while on the cruise, but it is worth it not to have to worry about shuttles or what time you will be dropped off etc......

No word from Jeanne on what to do prior to cruising...there are codes on mousavers but I am not sure if any are available. Jeanne call me prior to booking if you do and we can see what we can get with them. Generally when they are released they go fast.

Off to VF...not looking forward to this. Have to peel my hands off the steering wheel once I get there!

Good morning everyone. Glad to see some posts this morning. I am disappointed that we aren't going to Ron Jon's but WDW is still good. It's going to be hard to be there and not go to all the worlds. If I get my way, I am hoping to be able to purchase a half day pass to Magic Kingdom and then the MNSSHP tickets for Friday. I wish I could change my flight to one day before now that it looks like we will end up in WDW, but I don't want to pay the $100 fee!!!

Thanks for all the ideas for my friend. I went to Target last night and found a cute tropical bag/purse to fill up with goodies.

Julie, you are such a doll. I would love to see your tape of the parade and we are renting a car from Avis. Would love to try your codes and see if we can come up with a different price. Total for both legs of the trip our price for a rental will be: $220. That is from Wed night through 9 Saturday morning and then the following Saturday. I am with you, as long as we can cruise and get to CC that is all that counts!

Bonnie, I have NOT made a final decision. Thought that I would wait and see what the three of you are going to do.....our group decision. After talking to Kelsie at Dreams she said that we are doing the right thing by changing. We can't afford to stay at the Swan or Dolphin even though we get a govt discount like your nurses discount. You guys are lucky to be able to split the cost. Bonnie, I called WDW with the mousesavers code and got quoted exactly what Dreams quoted. Good luck on your drive today.

Heidi, you really surprised me last night. I thought for sure that you would much rather go to WDW than RonJons. Hey, you know what I did with the airlines to get the free change...I told them that they had changed the time so many times that I was uncertain if I would get there in time. They were so sweet and changed for free. The same thing has been happening for you. Maybe your airlines will switch you out for free.

Heidi, which airline are you flying? We are flying continental and after we booked our tickets, the price went down like $50 a ticket. So I called the airline to get the different price and was told I would have to pay them $100 to change flights. I told them that I wanted the phone number to the corporate offices. I then called them and to someone in I think customer complaints, explained my dilema and that I didn't think that it was fair to pay the $100. I said that we bought them when we did because of the price knowing that past practice the prices go up towards the flying day. After more"talking" to this man, he put me on hold and then came back and told me that he would send me the difference in vouchers and he could only do it this one time without the fee. So I would give it a try. I will PM more about this.

I don't think they will change for me though because I went through Orbitz to get the tickets. It wasn't Continental that kept changing the time, it was the other airline flying home that did it.

I am excited about WDW but I would want it to be more than a few hours of the night. I rather go to Ron Jons and not have that teaser....okay maybe I would like a slight teaser, but it would be hard.

I posted on the theme parks about half tickets and 2 people commented that you can get into Magic Kingdom with the MNSSHP tickets @ 4:00. Does anyone here know if that is true?

Ok, after talking to Dreams and WDW I am all messed up about park passes. It begins with us arriving soooo late on the 20th. It will be around midnight and for us to get length of stay passes we have to pay for the 20th as well. I can't deduct a day so my quote is NOT accurate online. WDW told me to call the hotel and see if they can do anything. THis is so totally unreal. I still would keep the All Stars and maybe not even worry about park passes.

Julie, I had fun this morning. I called All Stars as requested by Disney Travel and got all the scoop. A 2 night, 3 day ultimate pass would be 171.00. A 4 day park hopper pass would be 215.00 and a single park for a day with tax is 58.31. Too steep for me. Guess we will just hang out and go to MNSSHP. If we were to buy a one day ticket let's say to the Magic Kingdom, could we come and go from there as we please??

Hey, I can post. I tried earlier, but the server was too busy.

Interesting day around here. They are digging the basement next door, so lots of trucks and tractors or chachoos as Kaleigh calls them. We went outside this morning to watch.

The dry wall guy came and fixed a spot by the front door.

The project manager came by to tell me when all the people that were going to fix things are coming. Just stupid, little things.

Looking at and ordering more swatches for curtains.

Sandy & gang: Glad we aren't in your shoes trying to decided where to stay. We are driving but haven't even thought about where we are staying overnight. Plus, we have annual passes.

MNSSHP is a lot of fun and so is the parade.

We have someone from Guardian security coming this evening to tell us about their products.

Kaleigh actually played in the basement this morning. but I put her in her room again so I could get a shower. I feel like I did when she was a newborn, trying to grab a shower when I can. Her playpen is in the basement, but she doesn't want to be down there alone, the VCR is in the living room, but I can't let her alone there to watch her tapes. The only other place is her room.

Well Mom I talked to Beth to see if she could hook you up with some tickets. She is going to talk to Susan to see what she can work out to see if she has any tickets to give since she can only give away 2 tickets a month. We will see.

Julie I decided not to pursue it because Orbitz is going to charge me $30 for changing it and then Continental would charge me $100 for the change. Not worth it to me to fight 2 companies!!!! It was good talking to you today.

Sounds like everything with the house is going good. Kaleigh will get use to it soon!!!

Such dilemma's with the room!!! Glad I didn't plan on going down earlier than Friday evening. I will have to give Jeanne a call...I don't know her schedule though.

The drive today was tough...the speed limit is 55 but 1/2 the time you go 25 the other 1/2 70...or you get run off! Tough on a 2 lane and cement divider road.
Does the rest of the country have those divider walls? About 4 ft high next to the fast lane with no shoulder?

We finished by 3 at least...it pays to have a Sr. Director who had to get home before sundown for the holiday! Missed some of the rush hour traffic. She would have let us out early anyway...I can't say enough good about her...we all think she is the best!!!!

Missed Big Brother last night. I heard Nakomis got evicted.

My prayers to all those in the path of Ivan! Looks like it will head our way and stall by the weekend and cause massive flooding again. When will the madness stop! And, can someone explain to me why we had a Hurricane Bonnie and now possibly a Hurricane Jeanne???

The Dudettes have struck again!!! Looks like Jeanne did some damage in PR!

What did Jeanne decide? She was looking at the Dophin but I told her for 2 nights it was a little pricey. It should only cost me about $30 to rent a regular size car. As far as the party by the time I get the car, find my way to whatever hotel it will be at least 8PM and I may be exhausted by then. May just want to crash or hit the pool. I'll see as the time gets closer.

Bonnie, we decided on WDW and all of us are staying at All Star Movies. I will try and get directions for it. We really didn't have a problem driving. One question, are you planning on driving all of you to the port? I was just thinking that a compact car might not have enough luggage and people room. We are getting a bigger car so that we can get Heidi in plus all of our luggage. Just a thought. Jeanne and I ordered our MNSSHP tickets last night.

Didn't hear that Jeanne did damage in PR. What a horrible season.

Good morning!!! Came to work and read a tearful email from my friend in Florida. She is just miserable. She wants to drive 2 1/2 hours just to see me for 5 minutes in October. Of course she wrote this in an AOL card that made me cry!!! Nice way to start a day at work, I am sure my coworkers think I am insane!!

Susan you will be missed, but you will still be with us even if it is not in person!! I wish you could come. Do you want to try and fit in my suitcase?

I was going to order the tickets secretly for my parents birthday and come up with something creative but my mom beat me to it, she found out through a phone call that I was going to get it for them!! Not what I was picturing but oh well!! Happy early birthday mom and day!!!!

Jeanne booked ASM and MNSVSHP for she and Joyce. I will probably be too tired to go so will hold off until closer before I decide. I really wish I could get over to the food and wine festival but will probably get in too late.

Sandy-the $30 car is a Taurus...they are a pretty good size. It is with Budget...I got a code from mousavers and that is what I got. I just want to confirm that they have a shuttle to the port. I have to call Budget to make sure.

Went to Curves tonight after work...I feel good after the exercise...so glad I joined. Funny though because I see the other women there and I realize that I really push myself compared to them. At least they are moving! Trying to talk my mom into joining...even if she doesn't really push herself at least she would be moving more. I should tell her that Mom did it last year! Same age...or close to it!
