Back from Chesapeake. We got home late last night and I put on a load of laundry and just went to bed to be ready for work today.

Still working on laundry and too tired for anything else. I had to drive home in a thunderstorm today and that has made me cranky.

I'll try to chat more tomorrow and maybe I'll be in a better mood.

Sally, isn't it great about the soda????!!!! Heidi told me about it. I am a MAJOR diet coke person so that is good news for me.

It was a very cold weekend Sally for tenting. I was wondering how you guys were doing! Did you hear the weather forecast for this Saturday? 70 and this Wed is suppose to be 68. Crazy! But as you all know....I love it.

Denine, I keep forgetting to address metabolife for you. Both Heidi and I do good as long as we REMEMBER to take it.

Lori, I would love to hear what you guys thought about Granby. Must have been a shock to drive through town not knowing what happened.

Hi everyone! Sandy, sorry I read your original post incorrectly. I was extremely tired when I read it. I hope it wasn't too bad.

Heidi, sorry to hear about you car. Some people are so rude! I can't stand when people run into your car and not stop or leave a note. They act as though they did nothing and it's your fault for leaving your car in THEIR way. I fonly you could have caught them in the act! Oh well, I'm sure you can get it fixed some how with the help from nice workers at a dealership. Please keep us posted on your car.

The baptism went wonderfully! It was beautiful weather! Didn't rain until 9pm. Brooke wa very well behaved in church. ( so was the other two!) Didn't have as many people as I had originally thought. We had about 42 people instead of the 60 we once thought we were having. I can't stand when people don't RSVP when you as them too! I had 4 "families" of relatives that didn't show and didn't tell me they weren't coming. Oh well, we had a great time without them!

Denine made this OUT OF THIS WORLD fudge truffle cheesecake and yummy roasted potato salad. I died and went to heaven when I had the cheesecake! I can't wait to taste more of her creations!!! It was ashame that Kaleigh was so tired. Next time.

We were all tired today and slept in. It was nice to sleep some. Even Brooke slept in. I think she was tired of having people hold her. We put her in her bouncy seat and she went to town bouncing and kicking!

Oh well, gonna go. Have a great Tuesday everyone!

With all the graduation parties that we had the last few years, I get so angry over the RSVP thing. Why can't someone just pick up the phone and yay or nay it???? Is it that difficult? For the wedding, Stacey even enclosed a prestamped envelope with a card to send back. Did everyone do it???? NOOOOOOOO You just can't plan food around things like that. Believe me, I am the first to RSVP! Ok, I will get off my soapbox.

Wow, Denine, the cheesecake sounds soooo yummy. You really amaze me with your cooking. I think that you and Krista should get together and cook for all of us. Not just potato salad but roasted? Yummy.

Julie - sounds like the Baptism went great except for people who are too lazy to pick up the phone and RSVP....just rude!!!

Denine - I am going to have to come visit you so that you can cook for me. You sound like a great cook. Don't worry mom, I still love your cooking...nothing better than mom's cookin!!! I like Metabolife, it has been good to me.

Made an appointment for an autobody shop to give me an estimate. Seems like they are a little backed up due to the hail. I am going to call the dealership today during lunch so we will see what they say. Cross your fingers for me!!! I'll keep you posted. Okay mom you're right, I was trying to be nice and make it seem like it wasn't that big, but it was. Julie is right, I wish I could have caught them and then something would have hit the fan!!!!

Today I will be busy at work, I have a bunch of youth kids coming today to work for a few weeks...it's part of the Mayor program so they are from the ages of 15-18...should be fun!!! We have to give them a tour, get their badge and fingerprints done, and finish up the paperwork by swearing them in.

Yes, I like to cook. Going over to other peoples houses gives me an excuse without having to eat it all. I didn't like to cook at all when I was a kid. I still did learn stuff from my mom who really tried. I didn't start really cooking until I got married. I especially love to bake.

Sandy: I may get some metabolife. I was looking at the cortislim web page. You have to wonder if any of it really works. I'd love it if it did.

Julie: I can't believe all those people didn't RSVP. I hate that. Jerry said he still wants to cruise next October.

We had an unexpected showing last night. They called a couple of hours before they came, so we had time to get the house ready.

Hi all. Went to bed early last night. Tuesdays are bad at work...aggravating meeting every Tuesday from 2:30-4:30PM. Work is tense to begin with! My co supervisor has let the staff get away with poor work habits now I am stuck trying to make up for it!!!

OK...I am ready for a party, do we have to wait until Sept Denine??? Can't we just have Bushwakers in the open basement now?

Thunderstorm going on now...good though, gets rid of the humidity! No hale here thank heavens! Although I don't have a car to worry about!! One good thing about it!

It is time to give Glenn's house some TLC. I have my new sliding glass door so that is good enough for now. Fresh paint in all the rooms now...except the ceilings...tee hee! Still waiting for Ted to come do those. I had a house filled with love for many years...now it is time to fill Glenn's with love!

Glenn is still getting used to the new car...I think this may take a while. I can't wait to see it. I will feel like a princess being picked up at the airport! Although it is bigger so I won't get to be as close...darn!!! This will be a little tough for me! I am a toucher.

That's all that is new here! My mom sent a picture of Olivia to me...I guess my DIL sent it to her since I don't recognize the floor. I will forward it on to you all. It's cute.

Okay I have a question for all of you. My DBF doesn't have very much money right now due to his $1000 on his car repair but insisted on getting me a birthday present. He got me a massage from a lady who is one class away from getting her certification. Because she doesn't have her certification she can't charge and works only on tips. Well I have been avoiding it because I know he needs the money so last night he threw some money at me and said to call the lady to get the massage. How much do you think I should tip her? What he gave me I think is way too much but I am not sure so I thought I would ask your opinions. What do you think?

Can you imagine if all of us got together again how loud we could be! I bet Glenn's house is enjoying all the TLC that you guys are giving it. Heidi, gosh, I never had a massage so it is so hard for me to answer your question. I would have no idea!! Hopefully, someone here can help you.

Another day of golfing camp. Thank goodness it is my last. Noah's dad is to do it all tomorrow. If my car gets out without any damage then I will be happy. I have never seen such small parking places. Big cars, little cars, golf carts, balls, kids, adults who don't watch out ..... you get the picture. One last day, I can do it!!!!! I know I can.

Hey all. Tough night last night. Kaleigh woke up screaming her head off. She was soo upset. I don't know if she had a bad dream or was spooked by something. It took a while to get her calmed down. Then, when we put her back to bed, she started crying again. She finally did fall asleep.

Bonnie: Jerry hates Tuesday's at work too. He has meetings all day.

Heidi: I think when I had a massage on a cruise it was around $80. I would probably tip 15-20%. Of course, it depends on the kind of massage. If it includes hot stones, it is more expensive.

more storms expected today. I am so tired of rain. It is hard to get walks in or cut the grass.

I have to work on Saturday and I am really dreading it.

Hi guys, a nice wet, drizzly day. So good for the lawn. The hail even shredded that!

I ended up not having to go to golf camp. That really made my day and put me in a much better mood!

Heidi learned of some new info on her ex and made us both feel funny. It is so hard to figure out everything STILL! Why after a year do I/we still feel the way we do?

Denine, I remember those crying nights. Gosh, it is so hard on the parents the next day and the kids go on like nothing ever happened.

Better get to going. I was just feeling a little melancoly after Heidi's email re: her ex. Just needed to talk to friends. Thanks for being there!

Here...I am posting again to try to get you out of the funk! Not really but I thought I would tell you that anyway!

Meetings all morning, afternoon the worst class I have ever attended!

Heidi...cruise and spa massage are more expensive than from massage therapists. I had one come to the house and it was only $50...$45 if I went to her. Of course we get a discount through my health plan but I don't think it was that much. What do think...maybe $20-25? A little more than what a normal tip may be but what the heck...for an hour massage it's worth it!! I love massages!!! Gee I could use one now!

Raining here...started as I got off the bus. Back yard flooding again. Calgon take me away!
