No posts so far today....are you guys hung over?

It is snowing but we haven't gotten what they said we would...the ground was barely covered this morning but it is snowing now and it looks more promising than it did...may get it yet.

Barb has to do 3 Thorn productions today and then her career as a star is over until next year. Bet she is sad as I know she loves doing it.

Not hungover but busy. Picked Stanley up from the vet. He has to wear one of those big "cone shaped" collar's because he is trying to lick his incision. He is so goofy!!

The chat last night ended up a live action conference call and it was wonderful to hear all the voices. Wish everyone could have joined in.

Paul and Turner are on their way home and then we are going to my Aunt's house for a get-together. The kids will color eggs and we'll have a egg hunt for them. I just got back from buying a lot of little goodies for them.

PS - Sandy, I loved the ecard. I juts got through playing the easter egg hunt game!! Also, get Faith to start posting here with us.

Let me start off with thanking Susan for the conference call. I really enjoyed hearing all the voices. It is the next best thing to being together in person. Thanks soooo much.

Not hung over here either. Just trying to get tomorrows dinner together and laundry.

Patty, it was fun talking to you last night too. I got to know more about you last night than the last couple of years!

I am in big trouble. What I should have done was call Heidi and told her to call the number. That way she could have participated from Chris's house. Sorry, big time, Heidi! Love ya, mean it.

Thanks Susan for asking Faith to visit us over here. I might just do that.

Sally, the board was closed earlier today and that is probably why not too many of us could post. It was due to the death of someones mom here on the board. I guess he is quite active and I believe his name is Bob Varley. Doesn't ring a bell to me.

Not hung over here either, just busy. Jerry was at his parents this morning while I was at home doing Kaleigh's lundry and other basic stuff. When I did get to sign on, the boards were down. Then Jerry came home and it was off to his parents again for lunch. The we took the food for tomorrow to church to have it blessed. I came home and took a nap. Then I made an Easter pie for tomorrow.

I really enjoyed being able to talk to everyone. It was so much easier than typing. Thanks Sue!

Hi Guys. Well, I'm glad I got to say a quick "hi" last night anyway. I ended up putting in quite a few hours yesterday/night.
Gosh, I had 5 or 6 pages to catch up. Nothing like a few family feuds to get those pages smokin' by. Man, I haven't seen pages fill up so fast since getting that boat picture changes to DCL colors.

Hope everyone has a blessed Easter tomorrow. I was able to get someone to cover call for me from 2:30 to 5:30pm so I'll get to go to the big family dinner. That's good, since I'm cooking some of it . I hope that most of the patients' orders come down early so I have them all done before then. The girl covering for me is using it as an excuse to avoid going to her boyfriends Mom's for dinner . I'm so glad to have an extended family that all get along so well. Holidays would be so much less fun if stress of relationships were involved. Ohh look, I've been rambling... imagine that!

Happy Easter Everyone!!

We are back on the boards finally. It has been a rough period of time for us since the end of January. John's Dad was very ill and was hospitalized several times. These last 2 times he was in he wanted us to be there most of the time. So, between school & work, Kristen's activities & homework, and the hospital, there was not much time for me to be on the boards. He finally passed away 10 days ago and we have been spending alot of time with his mom and taking care of loose ends with her. His passing is truly a blessing and we know in our hearts that he is in a better place. Tomorrow, Easter Sunday would have been his birthday and we always celebrated his and Kristen's (April 15th) together. Tonight we did just that. There were some tears, but for the most part we had a good time.

At any rate, I am now back!! I haven't read all of the numerous pages that I missed so I am counting on someone to post the "highlights" of what I missed OK??? LOL!! Did Bonnie get engaged?? or anyone else????

Most of all, I wanted to wish all of you a happy and blessed Easter!! And the Landaal's are sending a hug to all of you!!

Well after 3 months and 13 performance the Thorn is over.
I was so depressed yesterday. Good thing I have Disney to look forward too.

Barb, there is always next years production. And.....like you said, DISNEY!

Heidi, you should ALWAYS listen to your mommy whether or not it involves the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus etc. Just remember your BIRTHDAY is coming up. Better be on your best behavior.

We had a very nice Easter. Got the dinner on with lots of help from Ted, Heidi and Heidi's DBF. Ted's dad's lady friend always keeps us laughing. She is 88 and can't hear, forgets what she has told you two or three times later etc. We made foam Easter bunnies for each table setting and put grass and candy inside them all. Heidi decorated the table with some lose candy as well. This ladi, Naomi, started scooping up the loose candy and putting it IN her bunny and then when he was totally full, started putting it in front of her bunny.

Better run. I have a hot lunch date with Lori. Might check back in later today.
