Susan - Thank you so much for your ideas!!! I love the scavenger idea and I am definitely going to use that idea. Thanks so much!!!

Hi everyone. Hope everyone is doing good. Have a great day.

Now that life is getting back to normal I can respond to some posts.

Jeanne: Sounds like you had a very nice Valentine's Day! Glad you had fun at your party.

Bonnie: I hope you had fun in Chicago!

Sandy: Thanks for the Valentine!

Sue: Congrats to Turner's hockey team!

Sally: Congrats on the weight loss. Now that I am feeling better, I am back at it again. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill yesterday.

Heidi: I am sure Jerry would tell you what he thinks of those ice breakers, but he can't because he doesn't use that kind of language. Basically, he hates them. I hope you have success with yours.

Barb: Congrats to Tiffiany for passing her drivers exam!

We are actually supposed to have a bit of a warm up. It is supposed to be 39 today and in the 40's tomorrow. Hopefully m ore snow will melt.

Kaleigh has a slight cold. She came down with it yesterday afternoon. Hopefully it won't turn into another ear infection!

Alright my co-worker and I had to pick a date and I will be in Washington D.C. March 7-12!!! We fly out on the 7th and will return on the 12th. (Happy Anniversary mom, atleast you will have the house to yourself!!!) We are trying to stay at the JW Marriott (very pricey!!!) It goes for $329/night but they will give the government a discount for $150/night. On their website it says that it is 2 blocks from the White House. I have no idea where I am going so this will be exciting. Atleast I am going with someone. Anyone want to come join me? I would love to meet all of you in person, my mom says such wonderful things about all of you. If anyone has any suggestion regarding D.C. let me know!!! Thanks.

Good morning, all. What a busy thread. I love it. My other thread I have resorted to singing about worms. Remember that guys? Not a pretty picture, huh?

Denine, got your picture. Terrific as always. I shared with Ted and Heidi about Kaleigh and her princess kisses. Ted and I can really relate to Kaleighs eyes when she sees a character so your post was fun to read. Hope the little princess is doing better today.

Barb, you made me feel so good. As always. You are very welcome for the Valentine. Tiffany driving, huh? Maybe you better give me her schedule and I will avoid the Springs during those hours. lol :teeth: No Tiff, love ya, mean it. Just kidding. I heard so much of that when the girls got their license so I guess I have to give it back.

My darling Heidi, I am no longer nervous. Glad that you got your date set finally. Does it interfere with Chris and Spring Break? Sounds like a cool hotel. Take pics!

Jeanne, I loved talking to you last night and I think Ted loved it just as much. I didn't even have time to pass on that Heidi said hello.

Susan, thanks for giving Heidi those ice breaker ideas. She has been sweating it. You are most welcome, also, for the Valentines cards. I thought that maybe those of you who are not familiar with the Loveland postmark might enjoy them. I found the cards and loved what they said. Thought it appropriate for all of you.

Still missing Bonnie. Where are you????

For those of you that have read Delswife trip report that I supplied a link to, she now has some more. I emailed to Susan and Lori because I know they read it. If anyone else did let me know. Thanks Heidi! :D

Got some errands to run so I better get running. Love you all!

Mom - unfortunately the day I get in from Washington D.C. is the day Chris's sister arrives from Florida. I say unfortunately because it's going to be a very busy 2 weeks for me and I might get to see my family 2-3 days out of those 2 weeks. Probably the longest I have been away from you!!! First week I will be in Washington D.C. and the next day I get home I head up to the mountains to go skiing for a few days. Mom - I might see you in passing on the second week!!! Oh ya I invited Dad to go skiing on that Sunday with me (March 14th) so I am pretty sure he is going to go!!!

Must get back to work...I have a lot to do before the 8th!!!

See what happens. I have foot surgery and then I get left out of family skiing. Oh well. It is good for you and your dad, Heidi.

Hey guys, my dear husband gave me a surprise "I love you" gift last night. It is a large figurine of Jiminy Cricket. It is like 3 ft tall or something and stands on a base. It is sooo cute.

No action here so will go check the boards out. See ya.

SANDY: What a nice surprise! A big Jiminy cricket. I don't know if I ever told you this but when I get really tired I rub my feet together like a cricket! Very attractive.

HEIDI: You are going to be really close but my son has his police academy hearing on the 8th & then I work those three days in a row again.

DENINE: I did bring up the family picture & it was great!

Little snow on the ground but not much. Our shore area got hit hardest. Have a great evening. Stay warm & healthy. Here's a hug:grouphug:. Where's that BONNIE? Toodles :wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

I didn't think they would have another model be the mole...you never know.

It was a really nice day...I worked in the yard and got a couple more trash cans of leaves, etc. racked. Hard to believe snow tomorrow again.

good night everyone.....

Sorry I have been MIA but I will admit I haven't even read the board. Glenn told me I better post.

I had a WONDERFUL weekend in Chicago...Glenn met me at the airport with a single rose on Friday...there were a dozen roses waiting for me at the house! SPent most of the time shopping...New curtains for GLenn! Yea!!! New light in the kitchen...Yea!!

I will read the thread this weekend...I promise. I get home from work and Pam calls! Just about every night! It is getting on my nerves...she is a bit neurotic...good person but truly neurotic!

Have a good day all

Welcome home, Bonnie. Hope you are doing well. Glad you had a nice visit with Glenn.

Sally, you can come work in my yard anytime you'd like. I haven't done anuthing out there since fall and its not looking like I'll have anytime out there soon.

Paul is going out of town for a few days so I may not have as much time to post taking care of everything around here including homework help, and hockey practices. But I will try.

Have a great day everyone. Survivor tonight!

Later!

I believe it was Krista about a week ago that said last years mole was a super model and I piped up thinking it was Kathy. Just wanted to admit I was wrong. After watching last nights show I remembered that Fredrique was the mole but Kathy won. I just knew that she was this year. She was so obvious. Forgot to guess who would win. Oh well. Survivor night.

Yahoo, Bonnie posted. You certainly were missed. Hope your tooth is better and glad that you had a nice time with Glenn. Hi Glenn, you quiet lurker!

Snow, snow and more snow again for today. It is to start out raining this morning and we will get 4-6 inches depending on where you live here in town. It is always worst in the southern section and the western section. Of course, we are right there. And of course, I have to pick up Noah at school. Why me??

Sally, how can you work in the yard? I can't even see the grass yet in my back yard. Well, let's say about 2/3 is still covered in snow and quite deep. My front still has some but not much. You guys must not be getting hit as bad down there this year. Are you getting todays snowstorm? I heard that Monument might get up to a foot.

Susan, I hope you find time to pop in and at least say hello. I understand though if you can't find the time. Homework time is always so stressful. I am so glad that I don't have it anymore with my kids or with my brothers kids. Doubt that I will have it with Noah. I will really miss him but will still have his sister, Grace.

no, we didn't get the snow you did Sandy. It is all gone but a very few places that is shaded all the time. It was 58 the last time I checked yesterday and I had to take my jacket off because I got too hot working outside. I have so many leaves in my flower beds that I want to get as many racked out as I can whenever it is nice enough.

You said you were getting rain....we aren't...at least not yet. It is 44 out right now but they said we would get rain and snow.

My son called last night and said he and his wife are taking a Master Gardners course....I would love to do that but can't get Dick to do it with me and it wouldn't be fun alone. I don't bother testing soil which I know I should so I thought that would be a great job for him.

Not going to Curves today....I have been going 4-5 times a week...once I start working outside for real I will cut it back to 3 times a week. 30 days till spring!!!!

Sally,no it isn't raining yet. But it is expected. I just saw the forecast and thought of you. Sounds like you are really going to get it this time. Get the shovels ready cuz it is on the way!!!!

Nice to have something to read on the boards!.

We are going to Jerry's parents tonight to celebrate Jerry's birthday, since we left for WDW right after it.

I took Kaleigh for a walk outside yesterday. It was still chilly, but better than it has been. No snow in the immediate forecast. Now, if we can just get rid of the rest that is on the ground.

I finally got my December trip photos in an album a couple days ago.

Jerry sent the proxy in to vote out Michael Eisner.

Kaleigh is feeling better today.

Heidi: Have fun in D.C. !

Bonnie: Sounds like you had a nice weekend.

Sandy: A large Jiminy. Sounds great!

Sally: I wish I had the chance to work outside as much as you. Of course, we can't do anything in the winter. It is so cold and everything is almost always covered in snow.

Sue: Hope you get a chance to check in while Paul is gone.

Denine, I remember those Ohio winters.....my husband was on a trustee board one winter and the guys that plowed the roads was working so many hours over time that he went out to help out and got stuck in the deep, deep snow all night. Didn't get home until morning....then when we moved to Colorado in August we didn't see any moisture until we had a hugh snow storm in April that shut our electricity off for 3 days....I am thinking what is wrong with this picture. I always thought Colorado had a lot of snow but found out it is mostly in the high mountains. We do get snow usually in March and April just when I want to work outside.

Missed you Denine. Good to hear from you. Go Jerry, go Jerry. Vote out Michael. Happy 2nd birthday, Jerry. Glad you got out for a walk because I bet our storm is headed your way. Do it today, too!

Sally, we are just having somewhat of a mist. Nothing to complain about yet. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
