October 19th Cruisers again and again...

Barb: The candle rings are just little wreaths you put around pillar candles. Way to go on the pillow cases. I am finally caught up on putting my pictures in albums.

We took a drive out to Vermillion yesterday. There were a lot of boats out on the lake. We had lunch at a little diner. Then we drove back the scenic way, along the lake. It was nice to get out. Luckily, ragweed doesn't grow in Lake Erie!

It is supposed to nice today. At least it is warmer than it has been and it is sunny. SUpposed to be in the low 80's the rest of the week.

I see Irene is out in the Atlantic. I wonder if our cruising friends are being affected by some stirred up waters?

Jerry and I are sooooo ready for that cruise!

How is school going Denine? Doing any fun projects this week? I bet Keligh is really excited about the cruise too. Wish we were going this year.

Tomorrow is Ethan's gym class YAY! He is so cute

Barb: I just watched Jason's video. It was great. I loved the guy who dressed up in the blond wig!

School is going really good. Kaleigh is starting to "get" counting by tens.

Tomorrow we are making rainbow crayons. We take crayon shavings of different colors and put them in muffin tins and then bake in the oven so they melt. Then you let them cool to harden and you have a rainbow crayon.

Tonight we have a meeting for church. They want to build an addition and this is where they tell us how much money they want us to cough up.

We are going out to eat at Bennigan's. It is kid's eat free day and we have a BOGO coupon too. Can't do much better than that.

Kaleigh is looking forward to the cruise too. She can't wait for the clubs!

Thanks Denine! I love that video. Jason did such a great job. He and Michelle did it all by themselves. Jason was the one in the blond wig. He was surprised how much he and Jaymee look alike when he has blond hair

Only 99 more days until we go to Disney. I have been sending fun stuff out to the friends that are going with us for months. I am at a loss today what to send. I have sent dining information, park information, a really SUPER cool spreadsheet, packing tips, Osborne lights stuff, candle light information. Disney tips. Any ideas what I can send out today??

Wonder how the Van Horns are doing. I bet the twins are having SOOOO much fun. Can't wait until we can take Ethan on a cruise.

Took Ethan to his 2nd gym class last night. He did MUCH better. Still did not stay with his class the entire time but did better. Sure glad the entire gym is set up for little kids and they are VERY understanding.

Barb: I am at a loss as to tell you what to send next. You seem to have thought of everything! I was wondering about our cruisers too. Only 23 more days for us. I bet next time, Ethan will stay with his class. At least he is having fun!

Kaleigh was so good at the meeting for church last night. We knew it would be boring for her, but we took her Leapster with headphones and she played that and ate cookies. They actually had a nice selection of refreshments including beer and 2 buck chuck (cheap wine). They said if they were going to get money out of us they needed to liquor us up first! At least they didn't tell us how much we needed to give. That is how Jerry's old church did it. They are telling us how much money is needed, 2 million, and how it will work. The renderings are very nice and the buildings are definiteyl needed. We just have to decide how much we can afford to give since we don't have any land to donate or rich realatives that HAVE to get rid of money. Jerry will see if Key will do a matching donation. They will in some areas, but they might not since it is a church. However, it is mostly for the school ,so if it is for education, they might.

Tongith we are going to Trader Joe's for cheap wine to go with the lasagna for Kaleigh's party and we are going to get Indian's tickets for Sunday. The magic number is down to 5! GO TRIBE!

Denine-Before you had Keleigh did you mind going on cruises just you and Jerry? Was it still fun? I am really debating wether or not to go with just Bob and I. Seems so lonely.

Barb: Seeing as how Jerry and I like to be alone, we loved our alone cruises! We weren't bored at all.

Indians maginc number is 3!

I got the tickets for Sunday's game. Kaleigh would have been very disappointed if we couldn't get them.

It will be so strange without anyone. After being a Mom for the past 27 years I don't even know how to be an adult without kids.

Denine- Your drive around Lake Erie sounds so nice. I wish we had something like that here. My massage theripst is moving back to Ohio Saturday. I will miss her so much. She has been in Colorado for 2 years but her heart has always been in Ohio with her kids and Mom. She had pictures of the sun setting on Lake Erie they were beautiful.

I am going to work on my "Count Down to Disney" posterboard. I am making one for Ethan and one for Tiffany.

Hi guys! Just popping in to say hi!

Makenzie's soccer team lost on tuesday, but she scored another goal! She's doing soooooooo well!

We go to the Indian's game on Saturday night. We will miss the big birthday party, but we will have a chance to get together another night.

Denine, is Jerry working Friday? Cause I could stop by and give him Kaleigh's gift. It looks like the kids won't be able to go saturday. I thought my mom could maybe take them, but she can't. SO, I had to get a baby sitter. Makenzie's soccer game got moved back, so Garry and I will be going to the game right after her game. We will make it up to Kaleigh! At least she will get a break from school to go the cruise.

Barb, sorry no help here about ideas for disney. My minds a blank. I will think about it more.

YAY its my Friday!! Another full weekend ahead of me.

Sounds like a fun weekend for you Julie.

Denine-How many do you have coming for your party?

Julie: No, Jerry is not going to work on Friday. I have to work so he will be working from home. Yeah Makenzie.

Barb: Where is you massage therapist moving to in Ohio? Now is the time to learn how to be an adult again. Go on the cruise with your hubby and get to know him again!

I have been cleaning all morning. No time the next couple of days, so it will just be a touch up on Saturday. Still have to go buy the rest of the stuff for my lasagna.

Barb: There will be 12 adults including me and Jerry and 7 or 8 kids including Kaleigh.

The only school we did today was Kaleigh's computer lesson. They are short and she enjoys them.

Gotta get back to cleaning. I have the major stuff done.

Denine- She is probably going to Cleveland. She works at Progressive. Pretty sure that is where she was living before she came to colorado

That's not bad at all Denine. When I spoke to you last about it, you said that Kaleigh wouldn't have hardly anyone to play with. I was feeling really bad about the kids not coming because of that. I'm glad to see that there will be more kids there then Kaleigh. We will have to work something out so we can get her present to her!

Barb, how nice no more work for the week!

Well, our cruisers will be at Castaway Cay tomorrow. I hope they had great weather! I can't wait to hear about the trip!

Julie: When I talked to you I had not heard from anyone yet. Plus, Kaleigh wanted to invite the girls across the street and they are coming. People that don't usually come, like my brother are actually coming.

Barb: She will be an east sider then.

Just ordered Jerry some new tux shirts. His were beyond cleaning around the collar. I am may try to bleach them now that I have new ones on order.

I could go for a nice day on Castaway, a Conch Cooler.....

Tomorrow I work and then I make the 1st lasagna. Saturday morning I have to make the 2nd lasagna and pick up the cake and whatever else.

I guess it's just me today.

Work was fine this morning. I got the lasagna made and I am working on cleaning up after myself. I love my new mix & chop! Tomorrow I make another lasagna and get the house ready while Jerry and Kaleigh go get the cake.

Looking forward to watching the baseball game tonight.

The cruisers come home tomorrow or Sunday. I hope they had a great time!
