October 19th Cruisers again and again...

Good Morning!

Checking in before I get started for the day. I am going to work on Disney decorations for my room in December and the "Count Down to Disney" poster boards.

How was the game Denine?

It is 2 hours until party time. Kaleigh is so excited!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything is done for the most part. My brother cancelled. My nephew is throwing up. I smashed my big toe by dropping a chair on it, so it is throbbing and purple. It is a beautiful day. Kaleigh's cake is GORGEOUS! We will have to scan in a picture and email it so you guys can see it. It is Aurora, Belle and CInderella all done in frosting. Kaleigh has a HUGE princess castle balloon!

Barb: We won the game so our magic number is 2. We get to go to the game tomorrow. It is the last home game of the season and we should either clinch the Central division tonight or tomorrow.

I don't even have any magnets for my door for the cruise and you are working on December decorations. You put my to shame.

I probably won't make it on tomorrow, so until Monday...

Hi guys, we are back with a ton of stuff to do. Tired but had a fantastic trip. Joey and Tyler got sick. Now, Stacey, Richard and I have it. I absolutely loved being with all of them. Tons of pictures from Shutters. Weather was perfect. Little rain in WDW but it didn't spoil a thing. Excursions were fun. My dear, Heidi and I got a little too tipsy with the rum punch from one excursion. Ok, down right drunk. It didn't even seem like there was rum in it so I kept drinking. Once on land, um, yep, there was rum in the punch after all. Good fun memories! More later. Just wanted to pop in and say hello.

HOW BOUT THAT TRIBE!!!!

They just won the AL Central Division today! We were there!!!!! We went last night and the guy that shares our season tickets with called this morning and asked if we wanted them, so we went today too!! It was a great win! The crowd, I think, was better last night, but that's ok. And this celebration wasn't as good as the one when they beat the yankees (that night was AWESOME!!) But a championship is a championship! We just walked in the door! Now we are off (late but oh well!) to one of my cousin's house for a clambake/pig roast (something like that).

Denine, where were you sitting?

Sandy and Heidi and Stacy, glad your trip was a great success! Sorry to hear about the sickies, but I hope it didn't put a damper on the trip. We thought about you a lot! Glad to hear the weather was super!


Can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip!

By the way, Makenzie scored 2 goals! In yesterday's game. She had the sniffles and wasn't feeling all that great, but she still did super! they tied, but she kicked booty!

We were in the upper deck section 558, just a little to the 3rd base side of home plate.

Denine, we were in section 172. Between 3rd and left field. We were about 11 rows from the field. I should have taken my phone and called you. I kept looking for you guys. (like I would have found you down there! LOL!!) Are you guys planning on going down to the playoffs?

My cousin's "clam bake/pig roast" was less then great to say the least! We got home around 9pm and the kids were showered and in bed by 9:20pm. It was later then normal, but they have no school on Wed. (teacher in service) so it's not a full week.

Barb, how was your weekend?

Add another 2 to the sickie list from the trip, but that is okay since we got it after vacation!!! We had a blast, this afternoon after I run and get medicine I will sit down and write out all the details and try and post some pictures. It was a blast cruising as a family.

Barb - what Panama Canal cruise are you on? We are on the Eastbound one and Chris has now changed his mind and wants to do this for our Honeymoon if his boss agrees to letting him take all that time off. He is definitely a disney cruise addict now. He kept talking about "wouldn't it be cool if Disney cruised to Jamaica." I told him I am sure other cruise lines do and he responded he would rather go on Disney!!!! Looks like my brain washing worked!!!

Denine/Julie - you guys sound like you had a busy week. I skimmed the pages but will go back to read more.

We had such an awesome weekend! Kaleigh's party was great! Good thing I made 2 lasagna's! Kaleigh has decided that she loves lasagna. She got some really nice presents and just got another in the mail today. We had a really nice time. Yesterday was the ball game. It was AWESOME! We haven't had the opportunity to go to a clinching game before. We all had a great time. Even Kaleigh was cheering and dancing. After the game, we let Kaleigh run the bases.

Unfortunately, my big toe appears to be broken. It has been hurting soo bad. I have been taking vicodin for it. I have strict instructions from Jerry to stay off my feet today since I was on them so much the last 2 days. It was great fun trying to walk yeterday with the ball game. Not easy finding a pair of shoes I could wear. I opted for sandals.

Sandy/Heidi: SOunds like you had a great time! Too bad you all got sick. Can't wait to read more reports on the trip.

Tomorrow is Kaleigh's birthday and she has a button to wear that says "I am 5 years old today". SHe will wear it all day and we are going out to dinner.

Friday we both have doctors appointments. I may have him look at my toe if it isn't any better.

It is a gorgeous day today!

Oh no Denine, not a broken toe??? OUCH!

I can't believe how busy you all were when we were gone. Lots going on with all the kids while we were relaxing. We went to MNSSHP and it stormed like all get out. We honestly managed to have a great time despite it. We were with Faith's daughter, Kristy and her husband. Things were cancelled and/or delayed. Some people got their money back if they went to MK's guest services. With us going on the cruise the next day we couldn't. I called today and they said that I have to send in a written request and they MIGHT refund the money. Other than that the trip went well. Lots and lots of pictures.

Good Morning

Denine-Hope your toe is better. Can't believe you made all the walking at the game with a broken toe! Tuff Girl!

Bummer about the rain for the MNSSHP Sandy. Hope you get a refund.

Ended up going to the ER last night. Luckily my toe is not broken. There was a large build up of blood under the nail and that was causing all the pain. The docotr put 3 holes in my nail to drain it. It is feeling better. Hopefully in a few days I will be as good as new.

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEET PRINCESS!

Jerry just got home to work from home the rest of the day. My blood sugar dropped in the shower and I really need to sleep. That hasn't happened in a long time. I am guessing it is from the pain in my toe from being worked on and going to bed hungry.

We are going out to dinner tonight. Now, to find shoes that I can wear.

Thursday, September 13th:
Chris and I arrived at the airport early in the morning. Joey and Tyler were great on the plane. We sat in the very front row which gave them extra room to play in. We arrived in Orlando and walked (okay, okay carried) Joey and Tyler to the baggage claim and then Chris and I took off for Magical Express.

We checked in to All Stars with no problem and found out we were staying in the room directly below where we stayed last year.

Our first stop was to Magic Kingdom so that Faith could sign us in and get us our park hoppers. We were suppose to meet up with Kristy but she had a doctors appointment that afternoon. Faith told us that Haunted Mansion was open so we went over there to see the newly refurbished ride. I LOVE what they did and the changes they made. After riding HM, we decided to go to MGM Studios since Chris never saw it last year. Unfortunately Rockin Roller Coaster was down so we rode ToT a bunch of times. There were no lines and it was great. We walked all around MGM, I dragged Chris on the Great Movie Ride (he will never go on that one again!!!!) and of course Star Tours. We went back to ToT to ride a few more times. I really wanted to watch Fantasmic, but we were so exhausted we went back to the hotel and crashed.

Friday, September 14th:
Chris and I met Kristy and Eugene at Animal Kingdom and they signed us in. We rode Expedition Everest a few times, then Dinosaur, then back to EE. We then went on our way to Epcot to ride Mission to Space that Chris was so looking forward to since we missed that last year. He was disappointed in that ride, he thought it would be better than what it was. Me, I don’t know I took the wussy route and went on the non spinning version. We then grabbed fast passes for Soaring and headed to Test Track. As we were waiting in line, it seemed that TT had broken down because the line was not moving at all for a few minutes. There was a group of people already waiting to board in the room and they had been there for a while when they started to usher us into another room. The people that were waiting in front of us were mad and were making comments when it turns out the Dream Squad was waiting for us. We all got Dream mouse ears and our own “VIP” car. It was fun, they told us they only give out 100/day so we were very lucky. We wore them for the rest of the day. After Soaring, we headed for Magic Kingdom since we were going to the Halloween Party. As soon as we got off the monorail it poured down rain. We quickly ran for cover under the train station and watched the parade as the rain passed. We rode a few rides and met up with my parents and my sister and her family for dinner at Cosmic Rays.

After dinner, we were going to watch Joey and Tyler so that Stacey and Rich could ride some rides. I think they made it to Haunted Mansion before it started pouring down rain again. This down pour never gave up and continued to pour on us for the rest of the night. My mom ran and bought Joey and Tyler ponchos while Chris was running around the trick or treat spot multiple times to get our bags filled up with candy. He had to have been flirting with the girls because he ended up with a ton of candy!! Do you think Chris and I were smart to bring our ponchos or buy ponchos when my mom went to get them…….of course not. So we bundled up Joey and Tyler in their ponchos and made a run for Main Street. You guessed it, we were soaked. I was so afraid that Chris was going to get sick like last cruise so I made him buy some dry clothes and he made me buy dry clothes and ponchos. Let me tell you, VERY expensive mistake. Lesson Learned, do not leave your poncho in the hotel room and if you do by a new one for $10 instead of $150 worth of dry clothes!!!!

Stacey and Rich caught up to us and took Joey and Tyler home. We weren’t going to let the rain ruin our fun so we put on our ponchos and off in the rain we went. The remaining people were my parents, Kristy and her DH, Chris and I. I tell you, I have never had so much fun in the rain as I did that night. We went around to all the trick-or-treat places and got a ton of candy. We even snuck a ride in at HM and POTC. Midnight was coming quickly so we said our goodbyes and headed back to the hotel. The rain made this night memorable. Lots of laughs and great memories.
