October 19th Cruisers again and again...

Anyone have any spare nerves? We pulled the trailer back last night and we blew our "banks" system on the truck. It is an after market turbo for diesels that adds power to the truck. Well, we didn't have power at all and in Labor Day traffic going down the interstate at about 35 miles an hour we made it to a parking lot. Heidi took us home from there and later in the evening Ted fixed the problem and all is well. Sheez, they have had to install it wrong or something. We hope to get the trailer to the RV lot for some warranty work without blowing it again. We we get back from vacation we will have to have the truck looked at. WHY all this before vacation?

On top of that, I was an emotional wreck for two days prior to leaving the campground. It has been very hard for me to leave Stacey and family for the winter. Yes, I know I have the vacation to look forward to but that just isn't helping me with the tears. Talked to Stacey today and when the babies realized that our trailer was gone they said something. She told me she wouldn't tell me because it would make me cry again.

Sandy- how come you end the camping season after Labor Day when there are so many more nice weekends left and since you are only about 45 minutes away can't you go down a few more times?

Did you see that really bad accident on the highway yesterday? I guess it had both north and south bound lanes tied up. they had to cut someone out of their car. Glad you missed it.

I bet what ever the babies said would make you cry I know it would me. . How sweet they are. Ethan is still not talking that much.

WHAT???? THE DOC DANCE??? Not fair. I already got the mail and NO DOCS!!

Barb, first off. GLAD that the result of your boo-boo was GOOD! We ended the camping season because we are taking advantage of this Disney vacation to get some warranty work done on the trailer. Once we get back, we figure that we would only have a few good weekends left before we have to winterize the trailer. Just thought we would take advantage of them having the trailer. If we didn't have this vacation, we would definitely have camped more weekends that is for sure! Glad that we didn't see the accident. We left Monument around 2:30. When and where did it happen?

Today is my day!!! I have been trying for the last 2 weeks to get another night at All-Star Movies but they were all booked up and finally today I was able to add another night!!!! WooHoo!

Heidi, what a great day for you! We had a bit of luck yesterday was well. Our Dec. trip, we had everyday but one on points. The one day, we had to pay cash for, BUT yesterday we got a confirmed that all days were on points! That saves us over $450 plus. Since it was a 1 bedroom.
And any savings during Christmas time is good!

Barb, I had to go back because I missed you reporting on your sore. thank goodness it wasn't the "c" word!

Sandy, glad everything worked out for you with the camper. I can't wait to see all the pictures you are going to take on your cruise!!!

Denine, so how's school going?

Well, nothing new here. Been trying to get back in the exercising mode. I did the treadmill and my abs today.

Well, gonna go for now. Be back later! I have a preschool meeting tonight and tomorrow night I have a meeting with the wives club and Makenzie has soccer practice. Never a dull moment around here!

Oh yeah, the wives club voted on a name and it is S.T.O.P (Support Team Of the Parma Heights Police Department). I sorta liked Mates of Blue better, but oh well!

WOW! Finally I am on! Glad to hear that I am not the only one that could not get on. Thought I was being blocked. I was having DISBOARD anxiety!!!

Good to hear from you Julie. Are the kids all settled into school yet? YAY about the points!! We are going to have to spend one night in another resort in December because the room we are staying in is not available when we get there.

Good morning, one day closer to vacation for me. I am hating work right now so I cannot wait for vacation. We are so understaffed and upper level management is doing nothing about it so everyone is so stressed out.

YAY!! We can get on the board first thing in the morning. How sad yesterday started out.

Had to pick Ethan up from mikes sisters house after work yesterday because Missy was working. I was really in the mood to watch Christmas shows so after I got him home I fed him dinner them we watched Veggie tales Christmas it was pouring rain. Won't be long before we can snuggle in a blanket and watch Christmas shows. Still a little to warm outside for that.

Barb - I LOVED the rain last night. We had all the windows open and it was a little cool so I got to snuggle under a blanket while watching Ghost Hunters!!! Christmas movies already!!!!

I LOVE this time of year!! Cooler weather and Fall setting in. We still have warm days to get outside and enjoy life. Cooler nights to snuggle in blankets. Outside is still beautiful.

Yay. My mom was a brat and called my sister and Chris last night stating she will be in FL on Monday while we are still here in CO.

Chris called me this morning at exactly 7:00 and told me a week from now at this time we will be on the airplane. He now just called me and said that he finished with his first store this morning and that is the last time he will be in there for 2 weeks!!! He is so excited, maybe he has a bit of the Disney bug now too!!
