Good morning. Chris is at the airport, waiting to get on a plane to Florida...the lucky duck. I didn't realize a storm is headed that way so maybe he will get rained out and I won't feel so bad that he is FL and I am not. (J/K) He will be in West Palm Beach visiting his best friend who is going to be his best man.

Great deal on diapers, Heidi. Gotta love Target lately! I think the storm was just for yesterday so he should be fine. It did sound widespread. Even the coastal states were getting it. Probably much like the town on the Eastern plains here that got 10" of rain recently.

Yippee, I got to talk to Julie. I was soooo happy that she called. I was wanting to call her but always found the time at night and she is 2 hours later there. Denine walked up so I got to talk to her, too. Sounds like they are having a good time. Kaleigh couldn't believe her surprise trip to WDW. I would have loved to have seen her face. The weather is doing pretty good.

Just got back from our friends retirement party. The room was packed. Old cops, new cops, chiefs, probation officers, old city employees, you name it. It was great. I worked with some in the courts. It was fun. I would see a face but couldn't put a name to it. Man, everyone is getting old (but me, lol)

Heidi is due over here soon. We are watching Pirate Master together tonight. Anyone here watching it?

This was my last day with Noah. It was very hard on me. They bought me a very cool necklace. It is a Swarovski necklace. It has 3 Mickey heads, one red, one black and one crystal inside of a heart. They represent Noah, Graci and Sandy. I have one more day with Graci in two weeks. Oh brother, that will not be pretty.

I got my quilt done!!! Can you believe I figured it out... more like made it up but it will work. YAY!!

Michelle (my daughter in law) got a job today! She will be teaching at Evergreen High School. Not sure where it is. Guess west of Denver????

Barb - You have my interest on why Bob had to buy a last minute ticket? Yay, you got the quilt done.....we all knew you could do it!! Evergreen is beautiful. I would love to live there, it is just west of Denver. It takes about 15 minutes to get there from our house. The High School is very nice, well it was when I was back in High School 8 years ago!!!

Yay it is Friday!! Can't wait to give Joey and Tyler their birthday presents!!!

Barb, Evergreen is beautiful and a small tight community. Graci starts kindergarten in July so she will be in the schools daycare system. They moved too far away to make it practical for me to take care of them while they are in school. I will be available to them on their breaks if they need me. They are on the track system. You have my interest on the last minute ticket as well. Good going on the quilt!

Have to run and weigh in. I might hit a few garage sales on the way.

I hope all the Dad's had a great Father's day. Had a fun weekend and Joey and Tyler had a good birthday party. Yesterday they played with the pool I bought them and had a blast. So glad I found that pool!!! Yesterday was very hot!!! Chris made it back from Florida and also had a good weekend.
