Yes, it was a tough day to get out of bed for me as well. Going to be another hot one. I dread going to the campground. Ted never likes to turn on the air conditioning in the trailer and I love it on. We are going to babysit the babies tonight so that Stacey and Richard can throw an employee party. They are having game night and playing Imaginiff and having wine/beer and appetizers. Should be a fun night for the employees!

Good Morning,

Checking in...... HERE!

Sounds like a FUN weekend for the employees!

When is Julie due back?
.
Heidi- I was tired this morning too. All I could think of was next week I will be getting up at 4:30.....

Hi all, sorry I didn't make it back on yesterday... I was catching up on laundry and other stuff.

Barb: Yikes on the tuition!!!!!!!!! Hope going back to full time won't be too hard. SOunds like you have your work c ut out for you with all the blankets and quilts. There will be some lucky people come Christmas. I love getting afghans from my MIL.

Julie came home yesterday evening. I haven't talked to her yet. She got the bug from the rest of her family.

Kaleigh was so surprised when she found out we were going to WDW! We made it all the way through lunch at MCd's before we told her. We said Kaleigh, we can go back home now or go to WDW. She was speechless! Keep in mind we have a 2.5 hour drive to Detroit. After the tinitioal shock, she was soooooo excited. The flight seemed very long and then they announced we may be delayed another hour because MCO was closed due to a storm. I guess there was a lot of wind, rain and hail. Luckily we had enough fuel and didn't have to go to Tampa to refuel before heading back to MCO. We landed 30 minutes late. We met up with the Lauter's on Thursday. Saturday, the 4 of us went to dinner at Shula's. This was iffy since Garry was not feeling well, but he made it and we had a good time. Boy, do they have the best steaks ever!!!!!!!! Of course, for the price, they should! Sunday (Father's Day) we went to breakfast at Crystal Palace. We didn't see the other's since Julie was sick. Monday we met back up with them at Epcot and had lunch in Germany. Then we had to leave around 3 PM to come home. When we got home, Kaleigh started crying (she had been asleep since 10 PM and we got home at 12:30 AM). Jerry asked her what was wrong and she said she wished she was sitll in WDW.
Kaleigh has offered up her piggy bank to Jerry so that we can live there. She is so cute.

The weather was pretty decent. We only had rain once and it was a passing rain cloud that we just waited out. I was a water magnet this trip. I don't usually get too wet on rides, but I really got it this trip. COmpletely soaked on Kali and Splash.

I work tomorrow, Saturday we are going to a friends for dinner, Sunday Jerry is going to a car race with friends and Monday we start Safetyville.

Well I gotta go. TIme for our 30 minutes for reading.

Denine - that was so sweet of Kaleigh wanting to give up her piggy bank....that is priceless!!!

Denine- The Kaleigh story was so cute. Can you imagine what that felt like to her to have no idea about Disney and be told she is on her way. MAN THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN!

Heidi-What time do you have to be at work? I though you always had Friday's off too. Guess I was thinking you worked 4-10's also.:confused3

Oh wow, Denine. What a sweetie Kaleigh is. I lover her idea of living in WDW! Maybe we can all pony up our money and join you!

Barb - I get every other Friday off. I get to work at 6:00 but we have until 9:00 to get there, and then I work 9 hours. I love it.

Good morning!!! TGIF. I am guessing I am alone on the boards today. My mom is at the campground, Barb is off today, Denine is working today, and I think Julie is still at WDW or recovering from WDW!!! It is going to be a hot Hot HOT weekend.

Heidi: The photographer looks good to me but Julie is the wedding expert!

Jerry and I are both at work early as well. I start at 6 Am and Jerry is usually there between 5:30 and 6. I just HATE the early mornings.

Kaleigh is a sweetie!

I think I have finally recovered from our trip, just in time for a late night tonight. It won't be 3 AM though.

Hi guys! We are home and safe and sound. We had a WONDERFUL time! Even though all of us got a cold, we still had a super time. Garry had the hardest time getting rid of it, but he did manage to get rid of it before we came home. Our flight was smooth and we got home around 8:45pm.

Heidi, the photographer looks vey nice. The only thing I would watch is make sure that only about 20% of the pictures are the "pictures within the picture". MHO, if I had a wedding album of just those kinds, I would be disappointed. I did see they do just take "normal" pictures as well, but both styles are beautiful!! I did like the split picture of the grooms family and the brides family. You are beautiful and in your wedding dress even MORE beautiful and I know that if you don't have a few pictures of just you and your dress or you and your father or mom, and such without the "extra little pictures all over it" you will be disappointed.

SO with that all said, the photographer is very good and I would choose them but let them understand that you do not want all of your pictures with the pictures within the pictures ( and only if you agree with me), because even though those are wonderful pictures and I DO like some of them, you do need single pictures as well. You never know in the future when you will need a picture of just you or your hubby on your wedding day. JMO.

Well, gonna go. I'll be back later!!

At least I am not 100% alone this weekend.

Julie: I found the wine Jerry and I had at Trader Joe's for $16! I couldn't find yours though. I did buy the bottle since we liked the wine.

We had a nice time at our friends last night and it did turn out to be pretty late, almost 2 AM. Jerry went to the car race at the airport today with his friends and Kaleigh and I tried to have a mommy-daughter day. It just didn't work out as planned. We did have a little "tea party" in the club house of her swing set.

Tomorrow Kaleigh starts Safetyville.

So, Julie, when are you bringing the kids over to play along with my chopper? This week isn't good.

I have no idea what to make for dinner tomorrow. I need to go to the store, but I don't feel like it and everything that sounds good needs something from the store.

I don't know when I will be back on as this is a goofy week for me.

I heard from Sally. This is what she had to say:

miss being able to reply on the Disney bb but it just won't let me in and I have tried several times and when they send a new password it rejects it....crazy!

I am still limping around...it has slowed me down a lot....still working on the yard. I might be done by fall.....

love, sally

Hi guys! Things are getting back to normal finally. BUT our AC is acting up so I have to call the guys that put it in to fix it. If it's not one thing, it's another.

Well, this was a super vacation for us and ground breaking as well! This trip, Brooke was tall enough WITHOUT "help":rolleyes1 to ride Test Track, Soaring, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Kali rapid river. She LOVED LOVED them all!!!! So, this trip was the FIRST time all of us got to go on all the rides!!!! The Big Guy actually went on Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain without ANY argument! We all rode each one several times! Actually on Kali, we rode it 3 times in a row without getting out of the raft!!! I got off that ride a little damp, but poor Makenzie and The Big Guy and Brooke got SOAKED!!! Anna Marie and Garry didn't get off to dry either;) ! We had an early dinner at the Rain Forrest Cafe at AK that day and that's the day they had that storm with the hail and high winds, but we missed all that because we were inside eating. SO, that cleared out the park pretty good, so Kali had no line. It was lightly raining (barely) when we left the Cafe so we did have our rain ponchos on (we normally don't wear them on Kali because I think that's cheating.... but this time we did and still got it.

This entire trip, we only used the rain gear twice!! Garry had his Blackberry with him all the time and would check the weather when the skies looked if-fy and if it showed rain, we headed indoors and to all of our surprise, we stayed dry!!!

All the kids and I bought the Disney Crocs shoes while we were there. The Big Guy didn't complain about walking at all and either did the girls. I have to admit, I think they are the ugliest shoes on the earth, but they ARE comfortable! They look so big on the foot, but they fit real nice. My feet felt really good after a day in the parks! You can order the disney crocs from DickSportingGoods.com They come in all sorts of colors, I got the light pink with grey strap, the girls got the dark pink with purple strap (I wanted this one too, but they only came in kids) and The Big Guy got Red with the black strap. Anna Marie also got the light pink and grey as well. They are great if it rains or you go on a water ride, your feet get wet but dry FAST!!

The last full day we were there, we went to MK and Garry and I got soaked I mean SOAKED on Splash mountain. It was as if someone took 2 buckets of water and threw it at us. If you can remember the ride, right after you go up the first hill and float pass the big hill, there are 2 water canons that spray water to the side as a log goes down the big hill, anyways, it was this water canon that got Garry and I. It obviously wasn't working right and it gets the first 2 seats of the log on the right side. Was that were you were when you got soaked Denine? YOu could ring out our shirts and shorts into a glass and have more water to spare! In the heat of Fl. you can walk around and get dried within minutes, NOPE not this time! After being there for about 6hours, we decided to go back and change clothes to get into dry ones.

Oh yeah, The kids got to be the guest conductors on the train around MK and got to speak on the mic "all aboard", "Have a Disney magical Day", "Welcome Aboard", and some more but I can't remember everything they got to say. They got Guest conductor cards when we got off the train so that was one of the special events this trip.

Well, that's if for right now. I'll tell more about our trip later if you want.

Sandy, glad you are back and thanks for posting about Sally. I was hopeing that was the case and she didn't leave us like everyone else!

Julie - thanks for your opinion. I definitely agree with you about the picture with picture and well ask if they can limit that. I like them because they don't have a time limit and there will be 2 photographers...everyone else that I have come across has a time limit of 4 hours and one photographer and charges extras such as removing blemishes, putting color on a black and white photo, etc. whereas these people don't.

I loved reading about your trip. It gets me excited for my trip in September..even though I am there for only one day!! I can't believe Brooke is that tall now, how fun to be able to ride all the rides. I can't wait to here about it more.

This weekend was a hot weekend. I pretty much hung out at my best friend's pool all weekend long. I had to babysit her son on Saturday and I took him to the pool and then we took the girls up there on Sunday and all went swimming up there. The girls built a fort at our house while I was gone babysitting and we all spent the night in the Fort they built in the living room. I slept maybe 4 hours and was exhausted, but the girls enjoyed it!! We fell asleep to the Disney Channel on TV.

Julie - how much did you pay for the disney crocs? I swore to everyone that I would never ever own a pair of those ugly things. 2 Christmas's ago I was getting my watch resized that Chris bought me and it was next to a Croc's store. Chris made me walk over there and actually forced me to try them on because he wanted to see what the big fuss was about. I did because he was making a big scene and they were so comfortable but I refused to get them because they were so ugly. He fell in love with his and went to the register to buy them, but I didn't realize he also went with the ones that I tried on. He knows I HATE to waste money so I wore them out of the mall and they haven't been off my feet yet!! I now on 2 of the clogs and 2 of the flip flops. Still ugly, but way to comfy to pass up!!!
