They said it will take about 4 1/2 hours to put in, so by 1pm we should be cool as a cucumber!!!

They lied! LOL!!! It's 2:05pm and they are STILL working on the AC. Of course due to the house being an older home, they ran into some problems (fixable I might add, but added more time on to the job!) Glad they don't get paid by the hour!

HOPEFULLY by 3pm, they will be done. If not, I will have to have a friend go get the kids OR I can go, but then they guys would have to wait until I get home to get paid.

Sandy, sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. Hopefully you won't get as sick as Stacey was. Fingers crossed!!

I remember when I got a stomach flu and it went through EVERYONE in the house!!! It was horrible!

Well gonna go and try to get some stuff done. It makes it hard when half (over half) of the house is without electricity!!!

Okay I now have the chills and my back is killing me...I am pumping vitamin C like crazy into my system. I have a sinus headache so I am blaming the previously mentioned symptoms on allergies!!

Chills???? That's not good. I didn't go through anything but my well, ummm, one symptom. Allergies don't give chills and or fever, right? That is the symptoms I had for strep, believe it or not. Sore throat??

Barb, I have been thinking of Sally a lot lately. How are your parents doing?

Well it looks like I got the flu from my sister. It was so nice of her to share with me, but she really didn't have to!!!! I have a high fever and am sweating like crazy with the chills. I am at home and am playing on the Disboards because it hurts to lay down.

We are supose to go to the Rockies game tonight. We have Club level seats....I am hoping to be better by tonight. Usually when I get the flu I have a 24 hour turn around if I sleep a lot.

Sandy & Heidi- Hope you are feeling better. Sounds like a very contagious flu. How are the babies?

Love the "On Board" credit as a gift! That is a cool idea I would have never thought of.

My parents are doing well. I know my Mom has had knee problems since we have been back from Disney. She is still trying to work on her yard. I told her next time we go to Disney SHE IS GETTING A CART! She does not want to get one but she can not go through this every time.

Julie- You are soooo lucky to get AC. I really want to get it but there is always something else standing in the way. Like college and trips to Disney.

Kaleigh and I went up to pay respects to the fallen officer. We were between the funeral home and the church, in front of a school where we parked. We went past the funeral home last night on our way to Home Depot, calling hours were for 7 hours yesterday. It was very crowded. They had a horse drawn hearse. It was very moving, kind of like the horse drawn caisson at my uncle's funeral.

Have to go grocery shopping tonight. I work tomorrow. Saturday is busy and then Sunday we are going to plant the tree we bought at HD for $20.

Jerry has to work on getting the DSL stuff hooked up. The phone company did what they had to do yesterday.

Going to go watch more funeral coverage and eat lunch now.

What's the weather like in Ohio? Must be pretty warm. The hottest we have been is about 86 but it cools off so nice at night. Do you really need AC already? Are you guys pretty humid?

I need help. We have a personal friend that is retiring from the Lakewood Police Dept next week. She was the Chief of Investigations. Do you have any ideas for a retirement gift? I thought that maybe Garry might even have an idea. It is a last minute decision for her. She just had knee surgery and isn't doing very well so she decided to retire. She is our age. I think a gift would be nice besides a retirement card. Any ideas?

I have some errands to run today for next weeks graduation. Compared to the past 2 Friday's and next Friday this is a very quiet day!

I am at home sick again today. Looks like I won't get to go to the campground today either. If I am feeling better tomorrow I am going to try and go. I leave for Salt Lake City on Monday so I hope it is gone by the weekend. I think my fever finally broke, I am not sweating or have the chills anymore....just a few symptoms left!!

Heidi-I hope you are feeling better. Man that is a long running flu. What ever happened to the 24 hour flu?? That was the only bright side to having flu is that it didn't last long.

Bob and I went out for our anniversary last night to Red Lobster. I got crab. We watch "The Deadliest Catch" every Tuesday night and I alway go to bed wanting crab! It was yummy!

Busy day. I am going to the hospital to visit a friend. He had emergency open heart surgery on Thursday. The guy is in great shape, runs all the time. No red meat and really watches everything else he eats. Weird. Then my Mom and I are going plant shopping. I was busy on Mothers day and she was sick so we postphoned it until today.

I bet Julie and Denine are busy packing and getting ready....LUCKY!!

Went to the summer reading kick-off program today. It was outside and they had a bunch of tables with activities set up. It was all pirate themed. Kaleigh had fun.

It is currently 90 and sunny out. Lovin' it!!!!!!!!!!!! I have all my windows open.

Heidi: Sorry you still aren't feeling well.

Going to friends later.

Jerry got the DSL hooked up while Kaleigh and I were gone. The phone was not working though since Thursday. We could call out, but not receive calls. The phone would not ring. We had the phone company out again today and they finally fixed the problem.

Hello all. Still feeling crappy and now fighting a migraine. I am sure it is because I am dehydrated.

Barb - I love Deadliest Catch. Which is your favorite ship? What kind of plants did you pick up? It is a beautiful day, I finally crawled out of bed at 1:00 to do laundry for Salt Lake. I was sitting outside on the porch but then it got to warm and I felt dizzy so I came inside to see how everyone here was.

Denine - so how do you like DSL? The summer reading kick off sounded like a lot of fun!!
