That is hilarious. My mom and I also say someday we are going to grow up...but I don't see it coming anytime soon!!!

Denine - that is so scary about Kaleigh. That little terd, sneaking out and playing with the babysitter. How did you find her? Were you freaking out when you found out she was gone?

Denine-What an independant little girl you have! She is not afraid of anything. Isn't it sad that now a days little girls are not safe when they are out of their parents view. When I was growing up I left in the morning on my bike and did not come home until dark. If one of my girls would have done that I would have been frantic worrying about her safety.

Heidi & Sandy- Are you having the same weather that we are? I can not make myself believe it is Spring instead of Fall. I feel like I need to start getting Christmas stuff out! It feels and looks like Fall.

Oh my Denine. I can't believe Kaleigh did that. What an escape artist!

Another busy day. I shopped for Stacey and myself. Pop is on sale and she wants to stock for the campground and for herself. On top of that, Ted needed some. Of all days for my back to be sore!

Then I bought some tshirts for our trip to personalize. They were on sale 5 for 10.00 at Michaels. Now that is a good deal. Of course they didn't have for the babies so I ran to Walmart and paid more for the itty bitty tishirts than I did for the adults.

Tonight we are going to a steakhouse for some sort of financial meeting. Not really sure what it will be all about. Oh well, free food!

Oh no, I have the news on. Stacey is expected to get 2-4 inches of snow tonight. Yikes!

I am so glad that today is my friday, I can't wait to get off at 1:30 today and return on Wednesday!!! A well needed break for me.

I wonder if Stacey got snow? I also picked up 12 -12 packs of Mountain Dew for Stacey, all for $21. While I was there, I got some ice cream for me and some dip and chips for the campground. I go the Haagen Dazs ice cream pints for me for $1.50 each. I love the deals at Target with their coupon generator.

Mmmmm, Haagen Daz. I went for Cheetos, Pepsi and Chex Mix. Yes, Stacey did get snow. We drove down there to turn on the heat for the trailer and turn off the water. We drove through some HEAVY snow going and fog coming back. Thankfully, it wasn't sticking to the roads, just the grassy area. Got home at 11:30 pm. DEAD TIRED today.

Last night's dinner turned out great. We had dinner with 3 other couples and our financial advisor and one other gentleman. It normally would have been terribly intimidating to me but everyone was so nice. They were all very "well off". One was a dentist for the Denver Nuggets, he turned down the Avalanche team. Another owned a Construction Co that primarily works downtown Denver. The other couple I can't remember what they did but live in a very well to do area. Then the single guy was a guy who used to work as an anchor on our channel 9 news. He was terrific. Dinner had to be about 100.00 per person. My steak alone, no sides was 35.00. Then of course, drinks, appetizers, salads, add on the side dishes and desserts. WOW! It was at a very swanky steakhouse. They said if you would look around that you could always see "celebrities". Dinner took 3 1/2 hours so no time to look around. On the way out they had a HUGE bowl of jellybeans and golf tees. We walked into this place and I felt soooo out of place. Definitely a place for business men. All dark clothing. I walk in with my windbreaker and immediately took it off to a white sweater. Talk about not blending in!! LOL

Last night after I got home Tiffany was watching TV. She has this purple bunny she has had since she was 3. It goes everywhere with her. They are both home for college right now. Well anyway I tied the balloon on her bunny and put it on her bed. When she saw it I thought she threw a fit
Right before bed when I was down on the computer Callie, my dog came
running down the stairs with it tied on her collar. Yeah Tiffany won that round!

Sandy: It sounds like our dinner at Shula's. I hoe the food was good though. I decided some time ago when I used to feel out of place in fancy places that those people weren't any better than I was and I belonged there just as much as anyone. (too me, visiting the Yach & Beach and other hotels like it were fancy places for rich people.)

Heidi: Luckily, jerry found Kaleigh quickly so there was no time to panic. Thank Goodness!

It got up to 88 yesterday and it is currently 84. Lovin' it!

I can't believe Stacey got snow. Remind me to NEVER move there!

We put up the tower to the swing set yeterday. It is fully functional. It was pretty easy and fun, but parts were time consuming. Today, we do the swing set part. There aren't as many pieces, so we hope to finish today. Then we need to attach the steering wheel, telescope and telephone to the tower. The towere is SOLID. Jerry and I were both in it putting it together. That sucker will be around long after Jerry and I are!

I work tomorrow and Monday. Then on MOnday we go to JErry's Mom's for a BBQ.

We bought 25 more points from DVC yesterday!

Tomorrow we sign papers for a home equity line of credit. I hated taking out a loan since we have been loan free for over a year, except for the mortgage, but there are things we want to do and just can't save fast enough for, like a deck. The deck probably won't get done this year, but with the line of credit, we won't have to save every penny for it first.

Can I just say that I LOVE my Pampered chef Santoku hand forged knife? It just glides through everything! I got an e-mail that my party order was shipped yesterday. The Fed Ex guy is going to LOVE me, it is 5 boxes!

I just got back from lunch. My coworkers took me out for my birthday today since I took my real birthday off!!! It was very sweet of them.

Hi guys! But I guess I will be talking to myself this weekend! I did PM everyone for the Christmas exchange. IF FOR ANY REASON you got the same family as last year or you would perfer another family for some reason, let me know.

Today we had the kids field day at school. It is an all day event for the entire school and they have events like the 50 yd. dash, water balloon toss, jump rope, softball toss, baseball, tug of war, etc. It really is a nice day and the weather was beautiful!!! We did have a good thunderstorm around 4pm but at least it didn't rain for the field day and the day was wonderful! Right now it doesn't even look like it rained!!!

This weekend is packing weekend. I want to get everything ready that I can.

Has anyone read about those Owner Lockers? We decided to get one. We take an aerobed and these "lockers" will fit that along with a whole bunch of stuff. SO, in Dec., we won't have to pack as much because the "essentials" will already be down there and waiting for us. Hopefully this "locker" thing works out. We can store: shampoo, mouthwash, toothbrushes, wine glasses (if we decide to buy some down there) first aid kit, hair "thing-ies" for the girls, coffee filters, creamer, bug spray, suntan lotions, (anything that will "keep" or doesn't have an exp. date before our next visit), the areobed, sheets for the areobed, q-tips, flip flops for some of us, all our rain ponchos, and a backpack/bag we use in disney. I'm sure I can think of other things depending on what I can fit into it when it arrives at BWV.
They deliver it to your resort AND pick it up when you leave and store it in a climate controlled warehouse. And you can check on your "locker" online. You can also add an inventory online so you know what you have in the locker.
