The weather has been gorgeous, but is only supposed to be 65 today. It is sunny though.

I hope everyone enjoys their Mother's Day camping trip.

I work tomorrow.

Sandy: We love to eat at special places on vacation. But, we do like a discount with the 20% off with the DDE card and we use the money back from the Disney Visa.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!!

I'm doing ok...just really busy. I am ready for things to slow down which I know won't be for awhile.

Barb-Are you still planning on doing a Pampered Chef party in June?? Just let me know what works best for you. One of these Friday's we will have to meet for lunch.

I bought my airline tickets so now I am getting really excited. I loved reading Denine's and Barb's post about DW....sounds like you guys had an amazing time. How can you not if you are a Disney fan!!! I just have to book ASM and the park hopper pass and transportation and we are ready to go!!!

Just trying to get caught up on life while my kids are asleep. I am trying to get ahead when it comes to the campground stuff so I am not "drowning" so much.

We close on the house in a week, I'm not ready but I am I guess. I will miss the house. Every time we go there I don't go upstairs because it is too hard. The thing that makes me mad is that we planted all these wild flowers last year and now they are blooming and are beautiful!!!! We never did paint the nursery.

I am exhausted so I am heading off to bed. I hope everyone is doing well and I will check in again when I get a chance.

Good morning. I hope you all had a great Mother's Day. We had beautiful weather this weekend. Thursday night and Friday I went down to the campground with my parents then I came back up Friday afternoon to watch Chris's daughters school program. Saturday we went to get my rings checked and I ended up leaving without my rings and I will be picking up my new ring today. Chris got me a bigger diamond and we also picked out the wrap for the wedding band. I can't wait to pick it up today. Saturday night I went to the Rockies game with Taura. Sunday was spent cleaning and cooking. Chris cooked a roasted chicken, rice, asparagus and fresh fruit for my mom and we had them over for dinner.

Stacey: Keep trying to hang in there!

I had a very nice Mother's Day. I worked in the morning and cam home to a breakfast of french toast and hash browns. Kaleigh yelled surprise! They gave me their cards and my gift of Ghiradelli's chocolate. Jerry picked the place, Kaleigh picked which one. They did this while we were in WDW. I was somewhere else buying Kaleigh birthday and Christmas presents and getting them shipped home.

Then I went upstairs to read for an hour and take a nap. Later we went for a walk.

It is supposed to be warmer today.

I have a few orders from people for my Pampered chef party but only 3 people coming that I know. It is on Wednesday.

Good Morning!

Sounds like everyone had a good Mother's Day!

Saturday Michelle graduated from college along with the other 2 big colleges in Colorado. Denver traffic was a mess! CSU had 1200 students graduate it took over an hour just to read off their names. We did not get home until midnight from Fort Collins. Yesterday Bob put up our gazebo and I did some gardening then we went to Michelle's graduation barbeque. Mothers day was pretty much over shadowed with all the graduation celebration. After the party we stopped by my Mom's house to spend some time with her. Her leg is very swollen so she is finally going to go to the doctor today. I told her Happy Mothers Day from you guys she said thanks.

Heidi- SWEET! on the bigger diamond!

Stacey- I am still going to have a party for you but I would like to get the tea party, Missionette graduation and Pirate party behind me. I am thinking the 23ish of June. I am getting pretty stressed out about the tea. More and more people keep RSVP'ing. I am at about 100. I don't know that the room is going to be big enough. I still have to finish the decorations and get my summer program researched and projects made.

OK Julie, I have been telling Jerry that if he could find cheap plane tickets, I would agree to go to WDW in June. Well, he did. $88 RT from Detroit. So we are going to WDW from June 13th through the 18th! We are staying at Saratoga and booked the rental car. All we need now is PS for fathers's day!

Hi Mom!

Barb- I completely understand about getting all your parties out of the way. 100 people...Wow!!! It will be so much fun...can't wait to hear about it.

So what did everyone do on Mother's Day? I know my mom was with Heidi for dinner and me during the day. Richard was a meanie....I had to cook dinner and do the normal chores plus work. He isn't my favorite person right now. At least I got to spend a little time with my family this weekend. My mom was nice enough to cook for me Friday and Saturday, she even let me keep the leftovers.

Anyway, just got done working for the night so I thought I would pop in.

Denine-I wish I was you!!! Nobody would ever think you are crazy by sneeking in another Disney trip!!!

Hi guys! Just popping in before I'm off to bed. Just had to wait for Garry's uniform to get out of the wash and into the dryer. He is acting Chief this week!

Makenzie's team lost on Thursday, had a super game though! Makenzie was goalie for the first 2 quarters and they didn't score on her. Actually the other team didn't score until the forth. We did win our last game on Saturday, so we got second place and the kids are suppose to get a trophy. She did super this year!

Garry had a DUI check point on Saturday night. It was from 11pm until 3am. They got three drunks! Which was pretty good! myself and another wife went and got food for them and set up and cleaned up for it. I really enjoy watching the check point. It really is interesting. We didn't get home until 3:30am and didn't go to bed until 5am. We were too awake to go to bed, so we caught up on some shows we DVRed.

Oh yeah, last minute on Friday we went to Painsville (where Anna Marie lives- an hour away) and went to her band concert. She was first chair flute and had 3 solos. She did a good job. Then we took her home with us and her mom picked her up at 8:45am on Sunday to go out to breakfast with her,, her mother and grandmother. My mother's day was very nice. Didn't do much of anything and it was nice! The kids gave me a picture frame with all sorts of pictures of the all 4 kids. It was very nice. Then we had Outback for dinner. It was very nice! AND, today, I got a mother's day card from Garry and Becky (my stepson and his wife from Florida) so that made my day today! They really want to be part of our family again.

Barb, did you ever think of doing event planning for a living? You are sooooo good at it! What a nice surprise for you form Jaymee. How sweet! How's your mom?

Heidi, new rings, how nice! Your weekend sounded great!

Sandy, so did you get your grandbabies to yourself?

Stacy, that was nice of your mom to leave you the leftovers.

Denine, Disney in how many days now? We leave in 20 days! We are staying at BWV.

I got the pool last night for Joey and Tyler. Now I just have to hide it from Emily and Amanda because they will want it!!!

Julie - that would be interesting to go to a DUI checkpoint. I know the only one I was at I was scared to death and I hadn't been drinking and I wasn't even driving!!!! It was the night Chris had bought his new car and we were driving home from the dealership. I have no idea why I was scared it was just crazy to have the entire road blocked off and it forced you to pull into a parking lot with tons of lights, cones, and cops!!!

I could not sleep last night. I kept getting up and didn't go back to bed until 2:00 this morning. I am really stressing about this tea party. 100 people!!! that is like planning a wedding!!!! I am worried that the room is not big enough. Since I am making some of the food and doing the decorating I am worried about running out of time. The next weekend is my "Pirate Party" that will only be 20 to 30 people.
