I hope I can see Faith and Kristy as well in September, but I will only be there Friday night!!! Boo Hoo, Chris couldn't get any more time off.

I am back. I have read everything, you were all quite chatty!

First, I am in for the Christmas exchange!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

We had soooo much fun in WDW. It just went way too fast. I LOVED having my birthday there. When we checked in, they noticed my birthday was the next day and gave me a button with my name on it. The girls in Olivia's (restaurant at OKW) made me put it on. We had lunch there just after checking in. Then when we were walking around Epcot, there was a food stand in Japan that is not mormally there and the 4 Japanese girls working the stand started to sing happ[y birthday to me. I got lots of birthday wishes and ahnd shakes. The best was on my birthday though. We spent the day at the MK. I talked to Sandy while eating popcorn on Maint Street. Then we went into the Emporium to look around. We heard music outside so I told Jerry to take Kaleigh and I would be out in a minute. There was a saxaphone band playing and then the Dapper Dan's showed up. I had Happy Birthday sung to me by the Dapper Dan's on Main Street. It just doesn't get much better than that! We went back to our room to get ready for dinner at Chef Mickey's. I got a birthday cupcake there and DOnald came over to say hi. When we got back, there were balloons and a birthday card from Mickey on the door. How cool is that? I also got a phone call from Goofy! It was just so much fun. I wore the button for a few days. We got a free diet coke when we went to play putt putt golf because of the button.

Other firsts: Riding up front with the driver on the monorail and going on the raft ride at Animal Kingdom with Kaleigh.

Dinner with Barb was a lot of fun. Kaleigh has a new aunt! Ethan is so cute with all his curls!

I will post more tommorow. We bought 3 boxwood shrubs yesterday that we will plant today.

Yay, we heard from Denine. I got the goosebumps from being sung by the Dapper Dan. How cool!!! We want to hear more from both of you!

A nice sunny day and I think it will continue for a few days. How exciting! I guess it paid to sing last night. lol

Good Morning!

Phew... I have been trying to catch up at work and remember all the things I need to get done for the tea. There are about 95 people coming to my little tea party!

I started coloring pictures for the Pirate Party. I found a cute coloring book in Disney that I am using for decorations. I have 4 done and a zillion more to go!

I justed loved Kaleigh. She is such a doll. I am so happy to be another Aunt!

We are going to Disney in December with some friends that have never been. I am starting to put the schedule together so they can see as much as possible in only 6 days. Seems we always waste so much time there walking from one end of the park to another I am trying to figure out a game plan

Hi guys! This time of year is crazy for the kids at school. Only 18 more days of school and then DISNEY!!!

The DaperDan's are awesome! I agree there is nothing better then them singing to you. When we got Garry's first haircut at the Mainstreet Barbar Shop, while the Big Guy was in the chair, the Daper Dan's came in, surrounded his chair and sang to him while his hair was being cut, the entire time!!! There was NO ONE else in the shop (unusual for that shop to be slow! LOL!). They made such a fuss over him. By the end of the cut, we had a store FULL of people and the Big Guy was "the star of the show" (well that was what the Dan's called him). Those kinds of memories is what makes us all Disney Freaks! LOL!!!

Denine, SO you're the one who doesn't want to go in June for the few days. You don't like us anymore? I guess I will have to talk to Jerry and override you!! You guys have the tickets, don't need a car (magical express) and DVC. If you search, you can get a good deal on plane tickets....SOOOOOO
You know you want to! You can go on the rides you couldn't before...... I'll buy a good amount at your pamper chef party..... If you loved us.........

Heidi, I can tell you had a bad day at work yesterday since you wrote " I had a bad day at work today, I hope today will be better!" Hang in there!

Julie - that is so cool about Gary's first haircut at WDW. I agree, those memories are the reasons why we are so in love with Disney!! Too funny that I wrote today. It started out bad this morning, but I refuse to let the day turn in to what it was YESTERDAY!!!!! Oops...guess I will edit my post, nah you already cleared it up for me!! Have a great day.

Heidi: I hope you have a better day today.

Julie: It is not a matter of wanting to go with you guys in June. It is a matter of money. I really want to get Kaleigh a swing set this year and it has to be the kind you can climb all over because that is what she loves the most.

Firday was our last day at WDW and Kaleigh was soooo sad. She did not want to go home. We spent the day at the MK, but it was very crowded. We only had an hour left when we heard there was going to be the Family Fun Day parade. Kaleigh wanted to see it. So, we walked over to Main Street and a Million Dreams guy asked if we wanted to be IN the parade. We said sure. So, we marched down Main Street from the castle to town square waving my banner and Jerry and Kaleigh with their tambourines. We waved at people and Kaleigh had the time of her life. When we got to town square, they gave us all American flags and we wave them to a patriotic ending. I was with Clarabelle Cow and Jerry and Kaleigh were with Pluto. Kaleigh was grinning from ear to ear. So, she didn't get to see the parade, she got to be IN it. We had been to the barber shop that morning to get her hair cut and pixie dusted, so she looked adorable.
Also, she had been wanting to ride the pink monorail the whole trip and it never worked. But, when we left, that is the one that came. She was sooooo happy. On the monorail, Kaleigh said that Mickey was right, dreams do come true! It was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation!


I gave more daisies away yesterday and planted my 3 boxwood shrubs. Pulled more weeds and Jerry got the sprinkler system up and running. Also found a baby bunny, it fit right in my hand. It was by the compost bin and we didn't see it until something moved. We thought it was a mouse. It hopped to the earth mound, but I thought it needed to go back where itwas, in the tall grass. So, I had gloves on and I went over to pick it up and put it back. It was so scared, but it let me. I called Kaleigh over to see the bunny and them set it down in the grass, where it worked itself down till you could barely see it. SOOO cute.

Heidi-Hope you are having a better day at work today. Just think about how many more days until your Disney trip. Wow now that I think about it it is really not that long away!!

Sandy- Glad you are feeling better. YAY you will be all better for Disney!!

I came into work late this morning because I woke up at 4:00 with a horrible headache. Took some advil and rested. My head is no longer throbing but it still aches. I have to save my vacation time for Disney I can't waste it on being sick!

Sorry about not posting much this week so far. I have been stressing a little about getting everything done for the tea party. Heidi the tea is at the church. I came up with the idea last year for my class. It was such a success that the Missionette Cordinator wanted to extend it to our 3rd graders this year. I have about 20 girls but the 3rd grades have about 50! I will have more help this year though with the other teachers. I just hope I remember everthing.

I have started getting some RSVP's back for my Pirate party. Not sure how many will be there but it should be fun. I am going to stop at the theater today after work to see if the tickets are on sale yet.
