The pictures of the babies at the zoo are so cute. Congratulations Stacey on owning the camp ground! I know it may not have been what you thought your path in life was going to be but sometimes God sends us on detours that we do not understand but it works out for the best.

Barb - that is so well put. I hope Stacey reads that. I am so glad you are back. I missed you. Have a safe trip picking up Tiffany. Can't wait to hear more about your trip. If you want me to post the pictures or walk you through posting pictures, just let me know.

Denine and Jerry come home this evening. I think their flight is 5:30pm-ish.

It is soooooooooo nice today. Denine will love the weather she is coming home to.

Well, it's official! We have started the wives club back up for the department. We were thinking about calling us "Wives Of Blue" (W.O.B.) but some officers have girlfriends that they have had forever and we didn't want to make them feel funny, so the Cheif's wife thought of "Women Of Blue". I didn't really care for that and Garry said it sounds like WE are officers, SOOOOO he came up with M.O.B. "Mates Of Blue". What do you think? Anyone else have an idea for a name? And you guessed it, I'm president! What's one more thing for me to do. Now my house will never be clean! LOL!! (I was a horrible housekeeper before, but now.....LOL).

Well gonna go. I have to go up to school in about a half hour. They called and asked if I could help them put some kind of "pamphlet" together. They were at the bottom of the "call list" when they got to me. Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and me being first vice pres. of PTA, I have to make sure the teacher's get their treats each day.

I vote for Mates of Blues!!! I agree that Women of Blue sounded like you were on the force.

Just got back from the Dr. I have strep and the reason it has me so down is because when I was little strep gave me rheumatic fever (heart disease) and so it has taken its toll on me. He was so sweet. He gave me 3 days worth of amoxicillin to get me through the weekend and then on Monday when I am feeling better I can got get a prescription I was pleased with that as I have no ambition to go to a store right now.

Julie, I am with Heidi...I like wives of blue but I do understand why that wouldn't work either...I am not very creative.

Heidi is coming down today...I am so excited to spend time with her. It's too bad my parents can't come but they are banned right now.

Good Morning,
We are back for the second time. Loved the weather in Tulsa. It was overcast and warm not hot. Perfect for moving. I am SOOOO proud of Tiffany she had all her stuff packed and labled it was so easy to move her. She was completely organized!! You should have seen the dorm. Oh my goodness I was horrified to think people actually live like that! I know I probably go overboard with keeping things picked up but oh my goodness! Even while we were staying in Disney I had a routine... get up empty the trash containers and put in the hall to be picked up, make the bed, unload the dishwasher, do laundry, pick up stuff.... Bob and I were so proud of her! She told me she was hoping I would notice her lables since I lable everything. I told her we noticed EVERYTHING she did. I think my baby is growing up!

I am going to skip church this morning. I want to get some things done. I think I mentioned that my "Mother Daughter Tea" theme is "Butterflies in the Garden" Well Epcot had a butterfly house that I got some pictures of along with some great information. I am going to make a couple of poster boards with the pictures and facts about butterflys.

Have you guys ever heard that song "My Little Girl" by Tim Mcgraw? The words touched my heart so much. I am going to print the words off and make a really cute frame for them. The song is a father talking to his daughter but it just how I feel about the girls. Since Jaymee and Tiffany are doing their rooms in pink and black I am going to sew paper together and really make it cute in those colors.

Disney was so much fun. It was so nice having 10 Disney days. I didn't feel stress to go to the parks from open to close everyday. We were all really relaxed. My brother, his wife and 2 of their daughters and 2 grandkids came down for a day. Then another day my Aunt, cousin and her husband came down. It was so nice seeing them. Have not seen then in many years. My cousin is 51 but looks like she is about 35. She is beautiful.

Rode the new rollar coster. Still like the "Rock N Roller Coster" better but it was fun. It was pretty hot most days so we took it pretty slow.

Back into my routine now. I have the Mother daughter tea, My Pirate Party, Missionette graduation that I need to organize and work out all the details. I still have to plan and prepare for my Summer class. Phew..... I need a vacation!

Barb - I bet Tiffany is glad to be back at home. I have never heard that song before, but the words were very touching. My parents, Chris and I sent the flowers as a "congrats" because that was their first official weekend owning the campground. Plus we knew my sister would be having a hard time so we wanted to brighten her day. I am guessing the new rollercoaster you were referring to was Expedition Everest? Am I correct? I loved that ride.

Funny thing about the flowers, I got there on Saturday morning and noticed that some of the flowers were on the verge of dying. She had only had it one day and I am guessing she didn't want to mention that some were DOA. So I called Hallmark and they are sending out a new arrangement at no charge and she gets to have 2 of those vases!!!

I had a very good weekend. It was so much fun being able to spend time with my sister and my n&n. It was very hard leaving yesterday afternoon, I had to quickly get out and cry in my car. I cried driving, and then last night. I keep saying to myself that it has to get easier!!! It snowed there on Saturday night and I heard on the news it snowed last night too there. I am sure Stacey isn't too happy about that.

Just wanted to say hello. Will post more later. Thought you guys should know that I am at least alive and kicking. I am doing nothing but sleeping. I am going to try and do some shopping today to see if I can get back to my routine and not sleep all day long. Time to weigh in.

Did my shopping and if I must say so, I did great. I am so ready for a nap but I don't think I will give in. I think I have to get back into the real world. We will see. I'm playing phone tag with my Dr. The results definitely came back strep according to a phone message. Well, believe it or not as I am typing this he called. He told me to get back to my daily routine slowly so guess I will lay down for a bit.

Been talking to Faith and trying to make plans for this Sept WDW/cruise trip. She is going to take some days off to spend with us. Can't wait. I wish, I wish, you all could have met her.

Barb, your trip to WDW sounded perfect. Ted and I are now taking WDW with a more relaxed attitude like you. We have seen it, done it, so much now that we aren't concentrating on the parks from dusk to dawn. We are having fun checking out the whole property. I was wondering, too, if you were referring to Expedition Everest. I was so worried about riding it and then ended up LOVING it. AND, that song. Of course, I loved the words. Did you like Soarin?? That is my new FAVORITE ride!!

Julie, don't you go and disappear just cuz everyone is home now! We need you supporting the thread at all times. We miss you when you "hide".

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY MAKENZIE!!!!


Sorry to be MIA lately. Had 2 first communions and a soccer game on Sat. and then we had the family birthday party for Makenzie on Sun.

I made cupcakes for Makenzie's class last night so she could take them in today. AND this week is teacher appreciation week and I have to get the teacher luncheon ready for thursday.

SO, I'm busy but I won't forget the thread. We only have a about 20 more school days so this time of year is REALLY busy.

Well, gonna go. Have to take Makenzie to soccer practice. She got a SUPER GOAL on saturday and she has a game on this thursday and this saturday and then she is done until the fall. She MIGHT be doing a soccer camp this summer, but we will see. She was SCOUTED on saturday for a "travel team"..... soooooooooooooo we will see what happens!
