Good morning everyone. Well, I think the frigid air has hit for awhile now. Sounds like you people in Ohio are getting it too.

Hey Heidi, do you think that Taura would like the remaining 6 chairs? Not sure what she has for a dining set.

Good morning. I am being unproductive at work and looking at Wedding dresses and Bridesmaid dresses.

I found this dress because it was a DISers dress that she just got married in at WDW.

Stace - which bridesmaid dresses do you like, any?

Good Morning!

More snow! Can you believe this year?? I am getting a little tired of the snow but still like this better then dry dry dry year.

No training today for me. Yay! I get to leave at my usual 3:30 time.

I still have not heard anything from Dreams. Hope to hear today. I emailed this morning and requested she get back with me. I know she was going to make my reservation so I must be booked :confused3

Heidi- What did you decide to do?

Sandy-have you decided?

Mom - no, Taura won't want the chairs. It wouldn't fit her table!!!!

Heidi, I love those dresses......

It isn't the snow that I mind as much as this really cold but we have sure had our share of snow since Oct.

Dick has his appointment this morning so won't get much done on kitchen. Only have about l/3 left to do but it is cleaning out cabinets and getting rid of some more things.

Can you believe I have crocus coming up and there was a really red rose bloom on a bush the other day....it is dried up now but where in the world it came from I don't know.

Just call me Grumpy today. I am already tired of the freezing temps and snow. It is supposed to be single digits for high's this weekend. My morning hasn't gone so well either.

Julie: Sorry to hear about Garry's dad. Do you think he has the fight in him?
Please don't beg and plead, but we really can't afford to got to WDW in June.
Right now, I am on a strict budget, don't buy unless absolutely necessary. I need to wait to buy Kaleigh's music program until the next credit card bill. And this is just so we can go in April. We are most likely driving to save money.

Jeanne: You were supposed to go the FIRST week of December. Now we will miss you since you will be there after us and Julie.

Sandy: See above post for why we keep our heat so low. We turn it to 59 at night. I drink hot tea and snuggle under blankets.

Jerry is working from home tomorrow even though I am not working. I only have 2 mornings again this month. This sure doesn't help the financial picture.

I am just tired, cold and cranky.

Heidi: The dresses are pretty. I just hope you have all skinny people in your wedding party. ( See, told you I was cranky).

Denine - I am sorry you are having a bad morning. I get cranky too when I am tired of the cold...I am with Sally, I love the snow just not the cold temperatures. The girls in my bridal party are all skinnier than me, so I should be all set with those dresses!!!

Speaking of skinnier, Stace - how did those jeans fit?

Heidi, I love your choices! If I HAD to give you a decision, I would go with the wedding dress with the straps (you don't have to worry about pulling up a strapless dress everytime you move). The other is very pretty too, but if you go with the "pink" for the bridesmaids, you should make sure that the pinks match AND make sure that there's not TOO much pink. Having straps on a dress just gives you the "security" that you don't have to worry about your dress. Also, if you need alterations, the pink and white dress, the alterations are harder because the color portion would have to be removed, the dress cut, then the color portion re-attached. You also have to make sure that the person doing the alterations HAS done that kind of alterations. I have seen some girls come in after that kind of alterations and the white portion of the dress is uneven and the color portions looks off. The other dress is a simple alteration, if needed.

SO, if you go with the one with straps, I would go with the bridesmaids dress..... the purple dress (the first picture of the dress choices). It is simple and elegant. AND it has some "bead work" on the top. That would make a good "match". Also, this dress CAN be cut down to a tea length or a shorter dress after the wedding so the girls COULD wear it again. PLUS the flowers you like (which I must say are BEAUTIFUL) would look great with both the wedding dress and bridesmaid one. You could go with the pink and white with the wedding gown and with the bridesmaids, you could put pink roses with a purple flower instead of the white. That would be SHARP!! Just my two cents.

The green dress is nice too, but with the bottom design, you have to watch that IF someone in the wedding party is on the short side, the alterations would come from the bottom and you might loose some of that design. ALSO watch when it comes to "falling in love" with a bridesmaid dress until you make sure that that dress does come in the color you are going with. I had serveral brides come in and have their girls try the dress on and everyne loves it, BUT when it comes to ordering it, they find out that the dress doesn't come in the color she wanted. once again, just my two cents!

I love them all! just remember, it's your wedding and you pick what YOU want.

Hi Barb and Sally!

Sandy, we do have the cold!! Monday it is only suppose to go up to 10 degrees as the high!

Denine, sooooo, when are you guys coming down in June??? We leave on the 5th and come back on the 20th. Anytime, just let me know!

Update on Garry's dad, he has a urine infection, a blood infection and has blood in his stool. He is also having some pain in his chest so he is now on nitro gliscerin (sp) pills. They want him to have a colon exam, but they feel he is too weak to go through it right now. The dr. thinks that the cancer might have spread to the colon. PLUS, we find out last night that he fell last wed. night (when Garry' brother was up to "help" out at night) and landed on his bottom and as he put it "bounced". He could have very easily fractured a bone since his bones are so weak. they are giving him an xray today to see if there is any fracture or if he did something to the metal "box" that was put in the place of the 5th vertabra.

Garry has another foot dr. appointment today and I'm sure he will get another injection and get scheduled for a MRI and then the next step is surgery.

My dad has an appointment today as well with his infecious disease dr. She will tell him today if the infection in his heal has gone into the bone and if he will be hospitalized. NICE!

Well, enough of my "sun shine" news! lol!!! Gotta go! Be back later!

Speaking of skinnier, Stace - how did those jeans fit?

Don't be mad at me....they are too big for me. Sorry!!! I will give them back and hopefully you will find another home for them.

Heidi/Julie- Heidi is leaning more towards the darker pink color for the dresses (we both like the dresses that are currently green and dark blue in the pics.) If she choose that dark pink, do you think her flowers would stand out ok???

Denine- I understand about the cold. We aren't getting very warm either here the next couple of days. I am done with the cold and snow.

Hello everyone else!!

Julie - thank you so much for your input. You don't understand how helpful you are to me. I would have no idea about any of the alteration stuff and you make such great points. Keep them coming because they help me immensely. I hope Gary's foot gets better. Prayers and Pixie Dust for both your dads.

Hi guys, hope I don't forget to address everything. You guys were quite chatty.

Barb, who is your DU agent? Ours is Kelsie.

Denine, grumpy is alright. We all have those days! AND, we know what cloudy, cold days can do to you, medically speaking.

Julie, I feel so bad for Garry's dad. It just keeps escalating. His spirits have to be down knowing what is going on. At least Louise (our friend) didn't know how bad it was. Then there is YOUR dad. Bless his heart. Diabetes is cruel! I pray that as bad as it is in my family history that it stopped with my mom. And then there's Garry staring at foot surgery. What kind? Is it the same as my plantar faschiitis surgery?

Stacey, too small for you???? Brag, brag! Better start eating! Seriously!

Heidi, I already gave you my votes now get to work. Just kidding! LYMI

Stace - not mad...just have to figure out how to starve myself...J/K!!!

Sandy- My TA agent is Sue Ellen. She has been pretty helpful

Heidi-That bouquet looks exactly like the we made for Michelle but hers was bigger.

Did you ever see pictures of Jason's wedding after all the stuff was done?

I forgot Sally! I can't believe that your crocus is already coming up especially in this weather!! My kitchen is very small so my cabiniets are sooooo cluttered. I refuse to get rid of things though. I use most of them. Periodically anyway.

Hi Barb, we just cross posted! Sue Ellen, huh? I had her one time before I was transferred to Kelsie. I like having Kelsie because she lives here in town.

Just back from dr appointment. He did an ekg and said that he didn't think there was need for further tests as things look pretty good. He also said what the other dr say...that on paper he looks pretty healthy.
