Good morning all! I hope Barb and Sally are having a wonderful time!

Denine, I believe Frank is the man that Bonnie has been dating for awhile. It looks like she is very happy. I have a wine order for you. Let me know what I need to do now.

Well, Garry and I got our Christmas present to each other last night. We got a 50 in plasma HDTV. I had the store deliver it yesterday when Garry was in Chicago for the day for a lecture about the Amish school schooting. He said the security was SOOOOO tight. It was in a grand ballroom or a hotel and they had l but 1 door locked and security at each door. They checked ID's and everything. They didn't want press or anyone else in there that wasn't law enforcement. Garry said the guy had "detailed" pictures of the shooting and Garry said he'll be having "dreams" about it for awhile. It really hit home when he saw the 7yr old little girl who didn't make it. All I can say was that guy was SICK!!!!

Well, all my cards have been sent out (except, Stacey.... I need your address so I can send you one so you know who you have been chatting with!) I hope you all get them soon! I have the kids done except for some little things. Garry and I are done, so now I just have my parents, some thing for Garry's dad and step mom, my brother and sister in law and my neice and nephew. My house is decorated so now all I have to do is to get baking!

I hope everyone gets their secret santa gift soon! We got ours!!!!!!!!!

Well, gotta go. Gotta go and exchange or cable digital box with a HD cable digital box. I'll be back later!

Heidi, I love snow too! Sorry Denine. It is soooooooo pretty. I hope your car it ok. Don't you just love when they do that. I think they all do it on purpose!

Julie: Just mail me the wine order and I'll get it to Jessica. Thanks. We got your Christmas card yesterday. Nice photos. Oohh, I forgot, I also need Stacey's address. So, where did you put the TV? Scary about the AMish Shooting. I am sure the 7 year olds death hit home.

Hey, how about the sicko chick that left her 6 week old baby in a car in the garage for 3 days while she went to PA? If anyone should lose custody of a child, it is her.

Of course there is alss the one that killed her 4 week old in a microwave and lets not forget the ones that put their adoptive kids in cages.

Yes, this has all happened her in Ohio.

Heidi, so sorry about the snow plow driver. What a JERK!!

Julie, I still need to change out our DISH receiver as well and get the HDTV one. Can't even get to the tv yet because we have all the 5th wheels stuff downstairs. The plan was to bring the new one home and get everything in it. Well, that's not happening for awhile. I run two different households so pretty much kitchen for kitchen is downstairs, bedding, toiletries etc. Then Ted keeps the storage in the RV just like a garage so it has tools etc. See what a mess I have??

Denine, Julie is right. Frank is someone who Bonnie has been dating the last couple of months. I believe the picture was taken in Florida over Thanksgiving.

I guess I am out of the loop when it comes to Bonnie. Now, if she would start posting again.

I am getting really ticked off at a magazine that I ordered for Kaleigh for her birthday. I ordered it in July and never received an issue. Now, everytime I communicate with them, they can't find the information that was sent. We had to fax them something and I got an e-mail that they didn't receive it. This isn't some fly-by-night place either. I am getting ready to report them to the BBB. I will fax them the info one more time and then I am reporting them if I don't get my money back.

Sorry Denine. It is so frustrating working with some companies. I can't understand how they stay in business. I agree whole heartedly with you.....now if we can get her to post again. I tell you I was hounding her all the time. I have left it alone for awhile now. She never even responds to my hounding now. I use to hear that she worked on computers all day and didn't want to go home to the computer.?!?? And now Jeanne has disappeared. I think I will go call her now.

Just got off the phone from talking to Jeanne. We talked for a half hour. It was good to hear her voice. She is doing fine. Just terribly busy. I feel better now that I know she is ok.

Denine - what magazine did you try to order? What a mess for you, since July...that is just crazy.

I got my Secret Santa gift!!!!!! It is sitting under the tree waiting to be opened. Chris wants to open it now!!!

Julie - that is a massive TV...I think I may have a 32 inch!!!!!

Just wanted to thank Heidi for picking me up to go shopping. I had a great time and can't beat the bargain on the meat!

First of all I have been off the board so long that a it would not let me post. A message came on "not logged in or you do not have permission to access page". Thank got I found my little cheat sheet with my name and number!

SANDY: Thank you so much for calling me. You always make me feel so loved . It's funny because I was thinking about you today. Forgot to ask you for Heidi & Stacey's addresses today too.

JULIE: Received your card and love the pictures.

Full house for Thanksgiving. My son, daughter-in-law and new grandbaby were over along with my son that lives here, his friend that lives here now & his son and my girlfriend who used to live here &, of course, my mother. Everything turned out great. We had turkey & stuffing, ham and all the accessories. Went shopping on Black Friday by myself since Bonnie was in Florida but had a good time at an outlet mall. Bonnie called on Thanksgiving.

Decorated my house the Saturday after Thanksgiving and FINALLY I can walk in the family room. It was filled with boxes for quite some time. I feel like I am ahead of the shopping game this year (Thank God). I can't believe I have off the whole week at Christmas (since I worked all of Christmas last year).

Hope you all had and are having a Wonderful Wednesday. I am off to work tomorrow and hope I can talk Joyce into $3.00 Margaritas :drinking: :drinking: at Los Amigos after work since I am off Friday and work Saturday. Toodles  :earseek: :earboy2: JEANNE

I am so glad that I checked the board before going to bed. HAPPY to see that Jeanne posted. I wish I could go to Armadillos for margaritas like you but my diet won't allow it for awhile. It was very special talking to you today. I needed it!

First off, it was great to see Jeanne post! Welcome back! we missed you!

Now, sorry to be a downer first thing in the morning but..... I didn't post that Garry's dad went into the hospital sunday complaining about his back hurting. Now his back has been bothering him since the end of Aug. Anyways his dr. ran all sorts of tests (before now) BUT an MRI and gave the excuse that insurance won't cover it. My experience with my dad is the dr. has to give the right "code" to the insurance for them to cover it. ANYWAYS, he was admitted to the hospital and was suppose to have a MRI on monday. He didn't because he was in so much pain and was sick to his stomach that he said he couldn't do it. Well, after some talking to, he did get one on Tuesday. Yesterday we go the news that he has a crushed vertibra (sp) and will need to operated on on Friday. NOW here is the shocker..... there is a "mass" they found by the crushed vertibra that they believe has caused the crush. His dr. is 99% sure it's cancer. They won't know anything until they get in there tomorrow. His dad has lost 30 lbs. since august. This has just DEVASTED us. Garry's mom died 20yrs ago from ovarian cancer and let's just say that IF it is the cancer we think it might be(lung or pancrease), his dad might only have a few weeks to months. I'm trying to stay positive, but with my dad getting weaker by the day this one just has hit me hard. And Garry, he's "numb" right now, but I am SO SO worried that this will put him in a depression. (he had to be put on meds when his mom died for depression). I haven't been able to sleep at all last night. Garry took a few hours off this morning and will be going in late around 11am.

Sorry for being a downer, but I need to let you all know if I go MIA. I'm taking the kids up tonight after school to see him.

I'm gonna go, I can't type and cry at the same time. Our goal right now is to get both grandpa's to Christmas. I'll try to be back on later!

 Julie - I am so sorry to hear about Gary's dad. That is horrible news, especially around the holidays. All of your family is in my prayers. :grouphug: Please keep us updated if you can. If you need someone to talk to or cry on, please give me a call.

Jeanne - so good to see you posting. We were all getting worried about you and thinking all the Disney Dudettes have abandoned our Disney family. You had a full house, did you buy anything good on BF?

:grouphug: Julie, what can I say to make you feel better? You and the entire family are certainly in our prayers. I feel so bad the way the dr. didn't treat him properly in the first place. If it is pancreatic cancer there is still some hope. My dad was given just a few weeks and lived for 5 years. I remember the horrible pain in the beginning and then he went into I guess you would call it remission. If it is lung cancer, I don't have any experience with that. Bless Garry's heart. I know how hard it is to lose a parent. I still miss my mom terribly. Just be there for each other and understand each other's mood swings. Hang in there kiddo. I love you!! CALL me if you need an ear to listen. I would call you but I know that sometimes it is hard to talk when you don't feel like it. :grouphug: Your dad remains in our hearts and prayers as well.

Oh Julie, I am so sorry! :grouphug: Call me if you need anything. Jerry and I would be happy to help. What hospital? Medina?

Jeanne: So glad to hear fom you. I was also afraid all the Dudettes abandoned us.

Heidi: I oreded My Big Backyard from the National Wildlife Foundation. I have never had a problem getting stuff from the NWF, but the BBY is separate and they are who I am dealing with. Jerry was going to fax the info again today.

Still not feeling well. My scratchy throat just won't go away and I can't sleep with it. I tried to get Jerry to come home early and work from home, but he said he couldn't. I have to work tomorrow.

We made a Christmas countdown chain today in school. We will be making decorations and gifts too. Need to go to Michael's to get stuff.

Sounds like this will be a better Secret Santa year. Everyone seems to be getting their gifts.

Julie- I am so sorry. Please let us know if we can do anything. Just remember you have your friends and your family who loves and thinks of you often! :grouphug:

I am soooo frustrated I could scream!!! We just found out that our insurance is switching from a PPO to an OAP (open access plus???) and we can't go to the pediatrician starting in January!!!! I love my pediatrician!!!! I don't know what we are going to do...I have a call into him to see who he recommends. I just want to cry! :furious: :furious:

 Sorry Stacey! :sad2: Insurance companies are so hard to deal with. Whatever happened to being able to go to ANY doctor. Those days are gone. I have never heard of a OAP. I wonder if Heidi knows anything about it.

Denine, get over that scratchy throat! Great idea on the Christmas countdown chain. Maybe Graci and I can make one today!

Stace - that sucks, I'm sorry. I have no idea what an OAP is....out of all the plans we have, we don't have those. I am guessing that Rich doesn't have a choice for another insurance company. I am so use to having choices with my work, I guess I assume everyone has choices of different plans and benefits companies. Do you want me to ask Taura which one she goes to for Elijah?

I just made the easiest and yummiest peanut butter fudge. OMG, at first I thought it might be icky but why not try it. Something easy for Graci to make. Well, I tell you. I am glad I did it. Take a container of vanilla frosting and a regular size jar of peanut butter and melt them together in the microwave. I did it for 30 sec the first time and then mixed it. Next time I did it for 20 seconds and it was done. Spread it in a 9X9 glass pan sprayed with Pam and refrig until hardened. VOILA, instant yummy treat.

I got two Christmas cards in todays mail. One from Denine. I can't believe how long Kaleigh's hair is! I love getting her pictures in the cards. Then the other from Julie. It pains me to see how the kids are growing especially Brooke! She was just a baby last time I saw her! Gorgeous family. Thanks guys for the pictures. I love pictures and appreciate you remembering us!
