Hope you get some good bargins Sandy and Heidi.....it is 5 in the morning and I am on my way to Walmart to return some things I got yesterday.

Bye all

:cool1: We are survivors of Black Friday. Just got home. We were gone for SIX hours. The crowds weren't too bad. My Brother and SIL had a very bad experience at an Electronic store but we did pretty good.

Sally, you should be on your way to the airport.

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We ate WAY TOO MUCH!

Went to work this morning. I made it through without having to take a vicodin when I got home.

NO WAY was I going anywhere near a store today.

Very nice today, temp wise. We even went for a fairly short walk this afternoon. We may go to Amish tomorrow.

Amish would be a lot of fun this time of year, Denine.

Barb, I know you are gone but wanted to address your Christmas card before I forget to. I can't believe you found the time to MAKE cards. Plus, the postmark was a complete surprise. I didn't know that the North Pole could do that. How awesome!

Hi guys! Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! We had a nice day as well. We went over to my brother's house for dinner. Ate too much, but it ws sooooooooooo good.

I know I'm late on this but.... Have a Great Trip Barb and Sally! I want o hear all about it when you get back.

Denine, I've looked over the wine stuff, do send you the order form if we order anything? Boy, I didn't recognize any of the names. Are we becoming wine snobs? LOL!

Well, got almost all of my Christmas cards done for this year. WHICH is a big thing since I almost didn't get them out last year until late! I don't even know if I sent you dis family cards last year. Boy was I bad last year, but this year I'm bound and determined to get things done WAY ahead of time. We will see how that goes!

I think that I've got the kids almost done. Now I need to go through what I bought to make sure. Just wrapping left I guess for them. Garry and I are still looking into TV's. I think we are going to go plasma. Garry researched them and found a few that he likes. We shall see what we are going to do.

Don't forget.... Secret Santa gifts SHOULD be put in the mail by Nov.30th so we can choose a day to open when Barb and Sally get back. SO, we have about 2 weeks to make sure people get their gifts.

Well, gonna go. Garry wants to go and get his hair cut so I will probably take the Big Guy too. Have a great Saturday!!!

Glad to hear everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! My husband was nice enough to share his germs with me so I got the "serious" stomach problem and stayed home. Richard, Joey and Tyler still went to Monument. Joey kept telling everyone "mommy night night". Boy, he wasn't wrong this time...it was a miserable one. I am still not up to par.

Black Friday was not my friend. My monitor broke on Wednesday so I had to run out and buy a new one, to keep the story short. My sister gave me heads up that the monitor I bought would be on sale on Friday. So I went out Friday morning to find that I actually spent more money instead of saving money...Santa's little helpers were nice enough to give me a speeding ticket!!! AAAAAhhhhh!! It was due time, my first ticket since I started driving. (No input MOM or HEIDI) After I finally reached the store, I found out of course the monitor was gone. Oh well!! Just giving everyone a laugh!!

Christmas cards are done and in the mail, have most of my shopping done, besides the gift cards and cash for the nieces and nephews. Decorations are up and looking good!!

That's it for now!! Have a great rest of the weekend!

Julie: Yes, send me the order form and I will get it to Jessica.

You are all ahead of me. I still have to find my Christmas cards. I am, however, done shopping as of yesterday! :cool1: I need a couple of minor things for Kaleigh.

Had a nice time in Amish yesterday. It was more crowded than I hoped for, but I did get a new Christmas tree skirt and a reversible table runner. It has grapes on one side and Christmas decor on the other. Very practical.

Another beautiful day today. I will get my Secret Santa ready to be mailed tomorrow.

Will probably put up the tree next weekend. We may put up the Mickey wreathes today since it is going to be so nice out. I really need help wrapping presents this year. So, I will have to find a time when Jerry can help me and Kaleigh isn't around. Sounds like midnight!

Stacey - Hope you are feeling up to par now. That is so cute what Joey was telling everyone. To get the monitor, you probably would have to be there 1-2 hours before they opened their doors. Don't forget about your warning ticket you got!!! :)

Denine - I wish I could shop at the amish. Do they sell dehydrated marshmallows? I am trying to get some and everybody says the Amish stores but we don't have any around here!!!

Julie - sounds like you had a good Thanksgiving. Thanks for the reminder for the secret santa gifts.

I had a very buys weekend and need a week to recover!!! Thanksgiving was a lot of fun and got to see my aunt and cousins who I haven't seen in a year. My other cousins, (my mom use to babysit them and they are more like our brother and sister), Chris's girls, Chris, my dad and I all played croquet and had a blast. I had a full house that night because my 2 cousins spent the night a long with the girls. One cousin stayed with Chris to play a golf game on the Xbox while my other cousin went shopping with me. We put up the Christmas tree and decorated the house.

We woke up on Friday at 3am to get all the great deals. I managed to get everything on my list as well as my best friends list so it was a worthwhile shopping trip!!!! Saved a lot of money waking up that early and fighting the crowds. After my 2 hour nap, we made a gingerbread house. I hadn't made one for years so it was a lot of fun. The girls loved doing that but they ate way too much candy. That night we met up with my parents for dinner at CiCi's pizza because the girls wanted to go there.

Saturday I went out with my best friend because this weekend her ex-husband flew down to CO and had their son for the weekend. It was her first kid free weekend. We had fun and then she went and got a small tattoo of a heart. We call it the care bear heart because that was her inspiration.

Sunday we had to take the girls back home and they were begging to stay. I thought they would have had enough of us, but I am glad they had fun.

Heidi: I think I have seen those marshmallows in Amish. They are like the ones that come in cereal right? I'll have to look the next time we go.
Sounds like you had a successful shopping trip and nice Thanksgiving.

Kaleigh and I have doctor appointments tomorrow. Kaleigh has had a moist cough for at least 2 weeks that just isn't getting any better and I woke up with a very sore throat and sinus pain.

I did find my Christmas cards and got them all done last night. The 1st batch went in the mail today along with the Secret Santa. The 2nd batch gets maile tomorrow, I needed more stamps.

Jerry worked a 1/2 day today and we all went to lunch and the mall. I bought Kaleigh an Ariel sweater set that was on sale, but got home and found out they left the ink tag on the one sweater. Jerry will take it back later. Also got some cute stuff for the giving tree at church. It was for a 1 month old baby and they wanted Disney Princess. The problem was I couldn't find any Disney princess for 3-6 months. I got 2 warm sleepers at TDS, one Marie and one Minnie. Went to Toys R Us and found a cut M & M sweat suit. No princesses, but cute nonetheless.

Jerry put up the Mickey wreaths yesterday and was also able to string some lights. He went back out a little bit ago to put some lights in the tree.
We have so many lights for outside, but no place to put them yet at this house. I think I need to start buying outdoor decorations. That is what the day after Christmas is for.

Bought Kaleigh a checkers game for St. Nicholas Day. We told her it was for her cousin. I think this will be the last year we can buy stuff for her and tell her it is for someone else. Kaleigh loves checkers! Of course, she doesn't know how to play, she plays her own version.

Denine - ya like the ones in the cereal or hot chocolate mix. Why are the amish the only ones to sell these? Some people also suggested bulk stores, but we don't have bulk stores here either.

We are now getting into the cold spell. Tomorrow is supose to be in the teens and the low could get to -9. I hope it snows. I love the snow, but don't like the extreme cold weather.

Mom - today the girls's ipod will be delivered. If you won't be home I can send you an email and you can sign the paper and put it on your door.

So far I have Chris's girls, Chris, my niece and nephew almost completely done for Christmas. I just have my parents left!!!!

Kaleigh and I are back from the doctor. We both got scripts for ATB's. Kaleigh also has a yeast infection so we got a script for a cream to take care of that.

It is a nice feeling to be done with Christmas shopping and it isn't even December. Now to start wrapping.

I wonder how Barb and Sally's cruise is?

Heidi: We still have today to be warm, but it is supposed to snow by Friday. I have loved this really nice weather.

BUSY, BUSY WEEKEND. But I am finally back online. Had a terrific Thanksgiving, great Black Friday and then on Saturday Ted and I went to where we scattered our friends ashes and found out that we had to play in thigh high snow to get there. Afterwards we decided to stay in Co Spgs, where Sally and Barb live. We stayed at Embassy Suites. It was so cool. Free cocktails from 5-7 and then in the morning free breakfast. The breakfast had everything imaginable. I highly recommend them. We were prepared to swim and hot tub but after the cocktails we were so relaxed that we just stayed in the room. Sunday we spent painting at Lou's house, the one that passed away. NOT FUN!! Stayed there over night and then painted some more. She was a smoker and we had to do her bedroom twice. ICKY! Ted took off Monday so we did a lot of errands and got the "bad boy" inspected.

Heidi, I was gone this morning and will run and pick up Graci in about 10 minutes. After that I will be here all day for the IPODS.

I am hoping to start my peanut brittle today. My Christmas cards are done but I simply refuse to mail them until Dec. Christmas season seems to be starting earlier and earlier through the years. I have mailed all gifts. Need to wrap for everyone around here.

Heidi, call me regarding the iPod. Your package arrived but it wasn't sealed with packaging tape. :confused3 Just the box flaps were folded in. Makes me nervous.

Heidi:ATB's= antibiotics. Sorry.

Sandy: Sounds like you had a busy weekend, plus a nice night at the hotel. I felt funny sending my cards out before December, but I didn't want any to get lost by little fingers so I sent them.

Jerry has a late day today, he has a meeting until 5 PM and won't be home until 6 PM. He is usually home by 3:30 PM. I am heating up a lean cuisine. We have to go to Target later for the medicine and routine shopping.

Denine, I understand about little hands and Christmas cards. I am a little concerned that Graci might find mine to mail out as well. Cross your fingers. How is your back doing? I am headed out of here for a salad. I wouldn't mind a lean cuisine right about now. It is getting dark and I bet it starts to snow soon. Are you guys expecting our cold weather?

Let is snow, let is snow, let it snow!!! I think we got about 4 inches last night. It is beautiful but slick!!

I am so angry, this morning I was driving into work and a snow plow driver pulled up next to me and dumped sand right after he got beside me so the sand sprayed my car and I am sure I have scratches from that now.

Sandy: My back is pretty much the same. He said it would take at least 2 weeks before it started helping and it was 1 week yesterday. I go back next week. I will see what he says then.

Heidi: I would be angry too. And, you can keep the snow.

We aren't expecting any extremely cold weather right now. Supposed to be 65 today, 67 tomorrow and then get cooler. I am ecstatic about the weather we have been having. It is never this warm this time of year!

Still feeling under the weather, but we did do one lesson in school today. Tomorrow we start talking about Christmas and we make a count-down chain. I have to review the next several lessons to see what I need to have on hand and ready. I looked a little and it seems Kaleigh is to make gifts.

Kaleigh hates her antibiotic. They assured me that she would like it and they wouldn't have to flavor it. They haven't flavored one yet. At least it is only once a day for 5 days.

Who is Frank? And, where was the picture taken?
