Hi all,

Thanks to all who wished us a Happy Anniversary!!! Did nothing, but got a new car last weekend.

Went for the Volvo Station Wagon and came home with an Infiniti I35. It is a big change from my Jeep Cherokee. I feel tiny next to all of our trucks out here, but so far, so good.

I will be road-tripping to San Antonion for the Final Four this weekend.

Go Pokes!!! Go Pokes!!!

Sorry I haven't been on lately, you all keep it up. I haven't even been a lurker.

We head to Disney on the 30th of this month. Yippppeeee.

Let me be the first to wish you all a

Happy April Fools Day.

Krista

Root for the OSU Cowboys, and watch for Clare on CBS, they filmed her holding her Can't Beat Sutton sign.

Who was that masked man????????(lone ranger show for all you young ones) Krista, was that you? Wow, nice car. A trip to Disney? Didn't even know you had one planned. I would have begged to go with. Guess you would not of wanted that!

Thanks for reminding me that it is April Fools Day. Gosh darn it. I get the kids and Noah is famous for all those little things. Oh what a day ahead!

Barb, I third what Lori and Susan said. Would love to see it.

Survivor and Apprentice night. Was anyone else as shocked as us that Amy was voted off American Idol last night? Even the red haired boy knew he should have gone. He was fighting back the tears, bless his heart!!

Good morning. Happy April Fools to everyone. Not much is going on here, just trying to make it through work today!!!!

Susan I am so jealous, I wish we could get a nice big rainstorm in CO. We haven't had the rain like we use to have in a few years.

Okay mom can you believe it I am too tired to talk. I am going to sit quietly in my cubicle and try not to sleep!!!

Yea right, Heidi. You are too tired to talk?? Only in MY dreams!

Hang in there Heidi. We might get rain over the next couple of days.

Hi all I just typed this huge message and it is gone! No time to type another one, will try tomorrow!

TGIF---

Busy, busy, busy. Spaghetti dinner fundraiser at school this evening then we leave for Raleigh and the District Hockey tournament.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Love ya.
Later!

Good Morning and Happy Friday!!

Last night was our first ticketed performance. Tuesday we did
for free for friends and Family and the youth groups. All went well except at the beginning one of the little angels is bringing the news of Jesus to the warior angels we have a lighted globe that is dropped out of the ceiling into her hands that represent Jesus as the light of the world. Well the sting broke and THUMP! it fell. The little angel snatched it up quickly. At the end we have another Heaven rejoicing scene we have a trampoline built into the stage. Well the sliding door would not open so the praise and warior angels were having to adlib it. They did great. One of the guy angels still did his tumbling stuff anyway. It was great!

We are filming I have ordered a copy, not sure how get it around. Any ideas?? I am including a The Thorn website. You could at least get an idea of what it is like.

http://thethorn.net/

We have 2 performance tonight. Mom and my Dad will be there. Last night after the performance the cast mingles with the audience. Bob was asked for his autograph and several people wanted pictures. He was so cute! Bob is one of 7 Pharisees. He has a long beard and looks great. I am one of about 400 crowd nothing special but loads of fun!!

Barb:smooth:

Susan, tell Turner that we all wish him good luck!

Heidi, glad to see you and your mom keeping the thread alive! Today is your off day, right? I hope you have a good one!

Sandy, it is time for that wine chat! Let's pick a night! Take us to Fargo's too!

Denine, you guys want to move? YOur house is very nice and I think the right size for a family of three. If we didn't have the herd that we have now (LOL) I'd take your house in a minute! Nice neighborhood, good size home, two car garage, nice backyard,2 full baths......... who needs a basement? When are we getting the troops together again? Anna Marie had a really nice time babysitting for Kaleigh. The only thing that we must remember in the future is that if Makenzie finds out where she is going to babysit, you might just have her coming along too! LOL! She wanted to know what little girl Anna Marie was going to babysit and wouldn't let it go! Ask Jerry. It was too funny.

Well, gonna fly! I hope you all have a great weekend!

FYI, spoke to Bonnie last night. She has been real busy with work and drops when she gets home at night. WHen work slows down, she will get a some time to get back to the boards.

Barb, sounds like I need your autograph! Glad things worked out for the cast! I would love to see you in action!

WHERE HAS DARREN GONE?????????????

Barb, WOW you were right when you said production!!!! It looks incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!! how did you get involved with this production again? And I really think we DO need your autograph!

Heeheehee

It is fantastic!! This is put on by my church every year. It started out 8 years ago as a youth group thing on a Sunday morning. It has grown since then. It is such a blessing to be involved. I think I will do it forever!! My church is building on to our current building. Our building now seats about 4500 at the end of the year it will seat about 10,000. The Thorn next year will be in the new building. Can't wait to see how The Thorn changes next year.

Jerry and I don't think we will ever live in the same house for a long time. We have been here 6-1/2 years. We like the house and the neighborhood and the city. We just wish we could make the house bigger, but there is no way to add on to it. We would like to stay in the city. We have lived here for 10 years. The new homes are so expensive and a lot of the homes for sale are old and need a lot of work or are newer and we can't afford. After the weather we have been having this week, we are wondering why we are bothering to look here and not in Florida? It has rained/snowed/misted/fogged every day since Monday afternoon. It is supposed to continue till next week. It is soooo gloomy. The creeks and rivers are all swollen and the clouds are so low and thick. At one construction site yesterday, the poor guys were having to dig their digger out of the mud. It was one of those with bulldozer treads and it still got stuck!

I work this weekend.

Barb: It would be great to see your production. We can make up a list of who wants to see it, then mail it around to the next person on the list.

Julie: I told Jerry when he left to get Anna Marie to try not to come home with Makenzie! Do you know when Anna Marie will be here in May? We have a wedding to go to. Let me know when you guys are availble. We are pretty flexible when we can get together.

Heidi: Glad your busy week is over and you did well.

Sue: Hope you feel better soon with your allergies.

Krista: Glad to hear from you.

Lori: I like to keep the windows open too. But, since we can only do that a couple of months out of the year, it doesn't really figure into it too much.

We have another appointment today. We are looking at 3 developments by 2 builders. Unfortunately, the one in Brunswick Hills is cheaper for the homes and taxes, but we couldn't move in until January. The one in Berea is more expensive in home price and yearly taxes, but it also has bigger lots and an earlier move in date. The one in Strongsville backs up to the same train tracks that are down the street from us now, is even closer to work for me (2 minutes instead of 5), but it also backs up to some warehouses. I really don't want to look at those ugly buildings. The one lot that doesn't back up to the tracks and the buildings has an $8000 premium. Decisions, decisions.

Too busy to chat. Will come back on later. Barb, are we still on for 11:00 Sunday at Fargos?

Don't want to jinx it but I think we are about to get rain!! My poor lawn so needs it! And so does the wildfire.

Hi everyone, it has been a very busy day here. Heidi had the day off so we spent some of the day shopping for a girl that I used to babysit for that just turned 21. My gosh am I ever old!!

Denine, I love to house hunt. Have fun. Sometimes if we don't have anything better to do we just go out and look at model homes.

Barb, your church is HUGE!

Julie, I am on for a wine chat. Just name it. Maybe we can get Bonnie on. I do miss her tons. I have been thinking about Darren too. He is going on our cruise so it makes me think of him often.

Susan, good luck at the tournament! Have a great weekend.

Speaking of our cruise, I talked to Faith on the phone about 2 hours a couple of nights ago. Kristy her dd is getting better. She wore her pixie dust around her neck on her last procedure. That made me feel so good.

Dinner time. Ted is taking me OUT!! Not enough time to thaw something out and cook. No method to my madness! :hyper:

There is this strange yellow thing in the sky this morning. It won't last, we are supposed to get 1-3" of snow by tomorrow sometime. There is a winter weather watch for tonight.

Work was quiet this morning.

Kaleigh fell down in one of the houses we were looking at yesterday and scraped the tip of her poor little nose.

The hot water tank computer died. We have no hot water. Jerry went to try to get a replacement part.

Have a good day!

It's Raining in colorado!!!
Haaa-le-luu-yaaaa!!!
It has drizzelled thru the night and the world is GREEN again. (The grass probably just needed the dust washed off)
Water is LIFE. Finally a blessing our way. Sing with me!!! "Oh, happy day..." Last night the kids were out running in the yard playing in the rain -the grass no longer crunched under thier feet- then the dogs joined them... oh even the wet-dog smell is worth it.

Lori you beat me to the rain happy dance. ::yes:: It is so funny that we are so excited about rain and poor Denine is sick and tired of all that moisture.

Well, we are about to leave for Fargos and wanted you all to know that YOU are coming too. I am bringing pictures. I will try and be a bit better than Lori was. :hyper: Actually I am bringing my photo album with. I am not sure who Barb, Sally and Patty have met so I thought that they might enjoy at least seeing pictures. Heidi has a migraine and is now in the bathroom tossing her cookies. Bet she doesn't come with as planned. :( She was really looking forward to it.

Hey Sandy I got in.....I don't know what Dick did but it worked. I guess it is because he fixed the computer as it has been flakey for some time.

I guess I get to be the first one to report on our lunch at Fargos. Really nice to see Sandy and Ted .....and she let me see one picture. I forgot my album again!!

Patti and Ken are getting ready to take off for Hobbs in a little while. It was a fast trip for them but I am glad for whatever time we get to see them. Dylan is such a sweetie...takes after his mom and she takes after her mom and she take after her mom....hee hee.

Next time you come down Sandy maybe you can come to my house and then I will be sure to have my Disney albums for you to see. I don't know why I didn't think to have to stop in on your way home this time.

Everyone enjoyed the Thorn and Barb really gets into it. If you could have seen her face you would have thought she was really one of the angry mob....she has another week to go yet.
It is a super production...will worth seeing.

Glad you enjoyed your time at Fargo's.

Sally: Good to hear from you!

Colorado people: I am glad for your rain, but can we have your dry weather and 70 degrees?

We got our snow as planned, about 3 inches. It was nasty this morning. Some of the snow has melted. It is supposed to be cold again tomorrow, in the 30's.

We still don't have any hot water. We are roughing it. We have to heat water on the stove so we can wash. Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow.

This seems like the longest day!

I am just checking in to let you know that Patty DOES exist. She is NOT a figment of all our imaginations. She walks and she talks. And she lurks :teeth: . It was a wonderful time. Poor Heidi didn't make it. She was just too sick. Dylan is a cutie! You gotta love his gorgeous hair.

Barb, I am so impressed with Tiffany. Just to let you all know what she did.....she cut off 10" of her beautiful hair to donate it. The style she has now is adorable. Nice and bouncy.

All of you came with. I brought a picture and you sat at (well, ON) the table the whole time. Nobody took a beer bath this time.

Denine, instead of looking for a house there, perhaps you should move here. Lots and lots of sun. Not today but usually.

Gotta run. Just wanted everyone to know that Patty is real.

Honestly missed all of you!
Sandy
