Good Morning everyone!

I still love you guys just having a hard time dealing with the way my life has changed. After being a Mom for 26 years a having the kids leave home takes a lot of adjusting. Especially since I am concerned about Jaymee. I would NEVER tell her I told you so. I will CONTINUE to support her but I am worried about the decision she made.

Tiffany is still as happy as can be at ORU. She is doing well and that does help. I talk to her every single day and hearing the joy in her voice helps.

Tiffany is coming home in March for Spring break and bringing 5 friends so I am focusing on menus and goodie bags for each girl. I am going to clean and get both Tiffany and Jaymee's rooms ready for our house full of girls.

Tiffany is so cute, she sent me a schedule of the day to day events while they are all here. Her email was titled "Just like my Mom" I brough tears to my eyes.

Have not heard much from Jaymee. She called me Sunday in tears but I was only able to talk to her for about 2 minutes before she had to hang up. I could hear her Sgt SCREAMING at them in the back ground. It was hard to let her go. I have written to her almost every day telling her how much I love her and how proud I am of her. We are going down in February for her graduation.

When things are bothering me I tend to withdraw like with Pastor Ted. I have to have time to sort out my feelings before I can go on with normal everyday life. Not sure why I am like that but I am. By the way Pastor Ted is doing great. He is in rehab. Our Pastors are doing a great job of keeping us updated on him. I sure do miss him. He will always be a very important part of my life.

Julie-Glad to see you back. You poor thing what a terrible fall! Glad you and Brooke are mostly ok!!

Stacey-Don't forget I will have a party for you in the Spring if you want to drive all the way down here again.

Denine-Your heart tree sounds very cute. I am in the process of gathering ideas for my Missionette room. I made a couple of really cute poster boards with pictures of the "Hoe Down" and one labled "Friends" with very cute pictures on it.

I got all my Valentines made, addressed, stamped and ready to mail. I made about 40 of them. I still have to finish making Valentine bags for my Missionettes and for Tiffany to hand out to her dorm.

I don't think I have ever been as sick as I have the last two days. Criss brought me a chicken salad sandwich and that night about 4 in the morning I got so sick.....won't go into details but I spent a lot of time in the bathroom for the next 36 hr. I was in bed all day yesterday and finally got up at 3 this morning and went downstairs to sleep in the chair because I was getting so sore from lying in bed.

Dick has been so good about trying to take care of me but it is hard for him as he gets out of breath so easy. I lost 3 more pounds in the last two days....hadn't eaten anything except drinking water. Dick made me eat a little soup but just not hungry....but I am feeling a little better.

I don't know if it was food poisioning or not but I know I don't think I will eat a chicken salad sandwich for a long time if ever.

Mom- Do you need me to do anything? I am still planning on helping you clean out the bedroom upstairs once you start feeling better.

I am going to present a proposal to the Cordinater of the Missionette program on Sunday night. Read this and tell me what you think. Does it sound ok?

Proposal for Summer Program

This proposal will cover the summer gap for our Missionettes. I would like to offer units not currently covered in the fall/spring schedule. The summer program would run from July 7th to the middle/end of August 2007.

The units: “Women of the Old Testament” & “Women of the New Testament”.

Teachers: Tiffany Knight & Barb Parrott

Cost: To be determined

Meeting times: Sunday nights from 6:00 to 8:00

Class Size: I would like to limit the class to about 15 so we are able to
Do more with the girls.

Activities: A sewing project and a play. I would also like to have a barbeque for the girls and their families. I am also considering a Mission project such as visiting a nursing home.

Barb- I think the proposal sounds good. In regards to the Pampered Chef Party, I am down in the Springs monthly visiting family so driving down there is no big deal for me. In regards to Tiffany, I am sure she is ok...I'm sure it is alot tougher than what she thought it would be. Just help her out by staying positive...she will soon realize either she made a mistake or all her hard work will pay off.

Sally- so sorry that you are still under the weather. I know what you mean by not being able to eat chicken salad sandwiches for awhile.

Hello everyone else!

No, your dad is here all day and I am not eating so will be fine....Patti said to eat crackers or toast. I am feeling a little better, just weak. At least that keeps me from trying to do anything today and tomorrow I should be fine.

Stacey- How about June 2nd? The only other day I have free is May 19th but I think that is the day I will have the "Mother Daughter Tea"

That sounds good to me. We can pencil it in and if you need to change it, we can. Thanks Barb!!

Time to study!

I have been gone all day and am so excited to see Barb posting!!! That just made my day.

Sally - Yuck, sorry you were that sick....how miserable. I hope you feel better soon.

Denine - an ING account is an online savings account. There isn't a building you can go to to make withdrawals, deposits, etc. It is done all through transfers online and offeres a great interest rate that you earn on your money. There is no monthly fee or minimum amount to keep in your account. I loved your story about Kaleigh playing in the snow. How much fun, I love the snow.

Barb - your proposal sounds great. How do you limit it to 15 girls? Is it first come first serve?

Right now I have 22 in Missionettes and it is soooo many girls. Plus they are only about 10 and FULL of energy. It would be on a first come first serve basis. Currently we do not have any type of summer program I would be just sorta starting one.

Wow, sounds like a very cool program I am sure the girls would love. Plus it helps keep you busy and your mind off other things!!!

Julie - I forgot to add that you can put me down also for 2 boxes of Samoas. Just send it to my mom's house and I can pick it up there.

I am soooo happy it is my Friday. I am going for a facial tomorrow and sooo looking forward to it.

Stacey-How was your day at the Spa??

Barb- OMG, it was the best!!! I did an hour massage, an hour facial, a manicure and a pedicure. Plus lunch. It was my Mother's Day present last year. It was especially nice because I can actually get a chance to relax which I don't get to do very often (does anyone really???) It gives me time to just do nothing...and get pampered!!! I've had a better massage but my facial was the best!! If I get to go again, I am going to ask for the same person for the facial but someone different for the massage.

Enjoy your facial!!!!

Chris has the best massage therapist and she gives him and I are good deal. She charges us $45 for an hour massage, but she normally charges $60. She is awesome.

Wow, what a bunch of chatty people the last couple of days. For some reason, when I can post, you guys don't and when I can't you do. :confused3 Hmmm, maybe I should take it personal. :rotfl:

Getting ready for a house full of people. We are hosting game night here again with my entire family and my brothers family. I decided I needed help cleaning out the freezer and what better way than :lmao: abusing my family. I gave my niece a game for Christmas. Anyone ever play Imaginiff? It is really fun. I had to go out and buy it today.

Barb, how in the world do you come up with all those cool ideas?

Brag, brag, brag......I want a facial, I want a massage!! Poor me.

I talked to Jeanne and Bonnie yesterday. They are in the Poconos. They had just got done tubing. Sounds like they are having a blast. I would love to do something like that with everyone!

I even got to talk to Julie yesterday. I hurt just listening to her talk! Bless her heart!

I think I need to take out a loan for car washing this year. This is getting ridiculous! Never, I repeat, NEVER buy a burgandy car. It shows everything!!

Guess I should get off the board and go make cookies. The least I can do is serve dessert tonight!:rotfl2:

I forgot to add how bad I feel for Sally. You poor thing have been through the wringer. You need to sit and do nothing but recoup! HUGS!
