I hate to go to the doctor ......they are always looking for something. I had a friend that went because her knee hurt and they found two brain tumors.
Wow, that is amazing. I hope my doctor looks for other things when I go~~~ Okay who am I kidding, I haven't been to the doctor in years!!!!

I went for a pap and the doctor found skin cancer. At least you know that you have an observant doctor! I feel so bad for you Sally. It sounds like you really have a doozy of a head cold!!

See you tomorrow Heidi!

Good morning!

Sitting here waiting for Heidi. I have to weigh in and it won't be a good one. I ate and drank whatever I wanted when Bonnie was here. Plus we heard that Penney's is having a good clearance sale. That should keep us out of trouble for short time.

Sally, how are you feeling? Meds taken effect?

Guess it is time to send out the mounties for Barb. Must be hard at work this week. With all the ice, I bet she is getting a million claims!

Denine and Julie, wuz up girlfriends??

On top of the other medicine the doctor told me to take Mucinex 3 times a day for a week. Anyone else ever taken it....it has to be the worse tasting pill in the world....I only took two yesterday but I am not kidding, between everything I can acually breath deep into my lungs and haven't been able to do that for ages. I even had to use Dick's oxygen last week. I am feeling a lot better today. We are suppose to go to a crop tonight. If I feel the way I do now I will probably go.

Did anyone see Bob Greene on Oprah's show last week? He has his picture on a lot of food in the stores now....he got the companies to make their things healthier. I got his book and he tells you how to eat heathy and lose weight. Not diet....just eat the right things. I have lost 5 pounds from being sick and I want to keep going.

Have fun today Sandy at the sale

Sally: Glad to hear you are beginnning to feel better. Prednisone is the worst tasting pill in the world and it just lingers.

We had fun at the ice show last night. Kaleigh was SO surprised when the Lauters showed up. The girls all sat together.

Julie went to the ER and may have a herniated disc. She has to go for an MRI, but needs the script from her doc who is on vacation. Meanwhile, they gave her a bunch of drugs. Garry got an injection in his toe or foot yesterday for the pain he has been having. They make a great pair right now!

I worked this morning, much better than lsst week even though one resident tried to beat me up. All part of the job.

Went to the dentist and had my cavity filled. Inhalers for asthma are awful on teeth!

We had some snow today. It was worse the further east you went.

Sandy: The PC cruise doesn't have all those sea days, but it does have some interesting ports. I do think it it is more expensive this time, plus we would have to pay for Kaleigh this time. Last time, she was still 2 and she only cost about $200. I would love to do an Alaska cruise some day.

We have NO plans this weekend and we are happy. I need to finish my continuing education. I got a bunch done yesterday.

Sally: My back (joint) is the best it has been in a long time, but it still hurts. I go back the middle of February for another check. I am the first one he has doen the blood injection on for the sacro-iliac joint, so he is being extra observant. I really want to join Curves to help me lose weight and tone up. This thing has been hurting for 1 year now. Thanks for asking.

Sandy: You are sweet about your school observations, but I would be nowhere without my teachers manual telling me what to do. I did add extra stuff about the presidents since we had just been to DC and really wanted to reinforce this. She even saw 2 characters dressed as George and Abe on Mr. Rogers this week. Kaleigh is learning to write her numbers now. She knows them, but we haven't emphasized actually writing them before. It took her a bit of practice to write "2", but she has it down quite good now.

Just got a notice in the mailbox today about a 12 year old girl that wants to babysit. She has even taken the Red Cross babysitting course. I think she lives across the street and just moved in this month. I am going to call her and maybe get a new babysitter. We haven't had one in over a year and then it was fleeting.

Hi everyone. Been a busy day, too busy to read your post Denine. Just wanted to pop in and say hello.

Love you guys!

Happy Sunday everyone,

Denine, sorry I didn't respond to your post yesterday. We kept ourselves pretty busy doing nothing of importance.

Sorry to hear about Julie and Garry. Man, they must make a pretty good couple. For both of them to strike out for the ice show was pretty amazing.

I can't believe that it has already been a year that you have been fighting your back, Denine. Hopefully, your new babysitter will be the best ever. We had Stacey and Heidi take the Red Cross course, too.

Barb, Sally, how's the snow your way? They are saying another 3-6". This is getting VERY OLD. Denine, how much snow did you get?

It feels like today is my ONLY day off. I am not complaining because I love babysitting but you can not do anything else when the baby is here! By the time she leaves, I am exhausted:faint:

SANDY: I talked to Bonnie and she is going to the Poconos:car: with me Thursday and Friday. I also talked to her about Panama Canal:boat: Cruise and told her I didn't think both Joyce and I would get off two weeks again in August. I would love to do the East to West Panama Canal Cruise.

JULIE: Hope your back gets better. I have a herniated disc at L-4 and L-5 * a congenital fusion at that area but thank God it hasn't bothered me for some time.

BARB: Are you sick too?

HEIDI: How are the wedding :bride: :groom: plans?

Hope you all are having a Wonderful Weekend. I am back to work Monday and Tuesday. Off Wednesday (but babysitting) and then to the Poconos:cheer2: :dance3: :yay: Toodles:wave: :genie: :mickeyjum :smickey: JEANNE

Jeanne, I would entertain the thought of the East to West cruise but it is so soon after our Sept cruise. Need to save some money and that is why I chose the West-East. I hope you guys can make it and would be so disappointed. I do understand though if you can't.

Good morning all. I am exhausted, Chris has kept me up the last 3 nights snoring and I can hardly function today. I am definitely not my talkative self today. I have so much work to do today so I will be pretty quiet I think.

Where is Barb?

We have a new babysitter! :cool1: She is coming over Saturday so Jerry and I can go out to dinner. Both she and her mom are really nice. I hope this works out!

My continuing education is done! It just hangs over your head until you finish it.

It is snowing a light snow. It is cold. We have a coating on the ground.

I have a meeting to go to at work today. Taking Kaleigh with me.

We made Valentine's in school today. Kaleigh had fun. I even let her use glitter in the classroom.

We went to the library on Saturday and I got a bunch of movies Kaleigh hadn't seen before. We are currently watching Atlantis. We started last night and will finish tonight. Jerry and I got the 4th Harry Potter movie so we will be all caught up, I think.

We have to go to Jerry's mom's this weekend to help her clean out her basement. This will be a weekend project. Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of Jerry's dad's death.

Nothing else going on other than it is Monday.

Where is Barb? It is unlike her not to post!

Heidi: Sorry about the snoring!

Jeanne: Babies are exhausting!

Sandy: :wave2:

Denine, your post was so upbeat. Nice to read! Looks like everything is going good for you.

I want to go sledding again. I was reading in the newspaper yesterday that you use up 400 calories an hour sledding. NICE!

I guess we will call out the MOUNTIES for Barb. Come out, come out, where ever you are.

Good morning

I just got some pictures from a friend in Arz and they had quite a bit of snow...looks funny seeing snow on palm trees...

I don't think we are going to have anymore snow for a few days at least.

I have lost 7 lbs since I got sick.....at least that was one perk

Criss and I went to Archivers yesterday and cropped for a few hours. I am making a 9/11 album for Patti...she wants it for her grandchildren

I stripped the bed and have a ton of laundry. I am doing good just to keep the house picked up but am feeling better this morning

Glad you are feeling better Denine.

Heidi, I understand what you are going through with the snoring...Linda's husband has to be the loudest snorer in the world....you can hear him clear at the other end of the house with the doors closed. She doesn't get any sleep unless he is on a business trip.

Had a good day! Did returns and had a manicure. I love the paraffin treatment! I will do another next month, too.

Sally, 7 pounds is a lot! You don't even need to lose 7 lbs! I don't know about the Springs but Denver is like a huge river right now. The snow is melting and FAST. I bet we got about 7 or 8" of snow yesterday. How about you? A 9/11 album is really something! Tell Patti hi from me!

Sandy, you are being too nice. I need to lose at least 40 more pounds.

I doubt if much melted today as it was cold and no sun.....

Patti loves history and she thought the 9/11 album would be something that her grandkids would be interested in when they get older.

So Chris and I may be taking the Repo cruise for our Honeymoon. We got a brochure in the mail from DCL about the Mexican Riviera cruises and Chris is so interested in it. He loves History and wants to go to the ruins in Mexico so bad. So maybe we will have a few days at DL, 15 nights on DCL and then a few days at WDW....what a great Honeymoon that would be for me!!!

Oh oh Heidi, dad and I just asked Kelsie for prices on BOTH repo cruises. Haven't decided which to take yet.

Sally, I am NOT being too kind. You DO NOT have 40 pounds to lose!!! I mean that honestly.

More sun and more melting until Saturday and then they are talking about another storm. I think we will melt A LOT the next few days!

Where is everyone?

Heidi: That would be a great honeymoon! We did a week in Grenada and then a few days at a resort in the Poconos.

My meeting at work yesterday was almost 3 hours long! Luckily another nurse brought 2 of her boys and the kids played the whole time. The other nurse home schools her 4 boys.

We made hearst to hang on our winterberry branch in school, it had Christms decorations on it before. We also made woven place mats for our Valentine's Day dinner we are having. Kaleigh chose the menu of heart shaped pizza with pepperoni, I added salad, and then we are having heart shaped jello "squares" for dessert. We made Valentine cards yesterday.

I still have to go get lunch for Kaleigh and myself and start dinner. We are having crab cakes. You don't get much done when school takes 2 hours.

Jerry and didn't remember Atlantis being that good, but we thought it was this time. We may get it when/if it comes out on DVD. I don't think it has yet. Kaleigh like it too and also Chicken Little.

Supposed to get flurries today and snow showers tonight, but not much expected as fas as accumulation.

Sandy: At least it is you guys getting all the snow this years instead of us. I was really getting tired of all those record setting winters!

Sandy, I typed in the wrong weight loss.....now don't yell at me. I have lost l7 lbs since I came home from the cruise. Of course it is because I had a lot of water retention from my legs swelling on the cruise plus what I put on on the cruise and I have been sick for 3 weeks and not eating. I am not hungry and nothing tastes good. I am drinking Slim-fast Optima. But I do want to lose at least 30-35 more lbs.

What I do eat is healthy....I got Bob Greene's book and it is an easy way to lost weight and healthy. He said it isn't a diet but a way of living. I never did eat a lot but I sure ate the wrong things.

Denine it sounds like you are doing a great job teaching....good for you.

Julie, I hope things are going better for you....

Heidi, your honeymoon sounds wonderful......

Hi to Jeanne, Bonnie and Stacey
