Hi Julie.....yes, I watched Big Brother and you are right....there is a lot of people in that house that gets on your nerves....they are a bunch of adults acting like little kids....I watched Hilton too....Kathy Hilton is such a lady it makes you wonder how she raised the girls she did...Do you watch The Cut and Brat Camp?

It is so hot tonight....I had 3 fans and a cooler going in the living room and I could stand it...then I came upstairs and it is so hot I don't think I will sleep much and I have a cooler fan in the bedroom plus a ceiling fan.....we went out this afternoon and was pricing swamp coolers and air conditioning....what surprised me is the swamp cooler with installation is almost as much as air conditioning....and that isn't cheap. Guess I will have to wait out the hot weather.... :rolleyes1

Didn't work in the yard today as it was just too hot...maybe tomorrow

Julie - yes they did show SOME of what happened on Big Brother what I was talking about, what they didn't show was that Eric punched a hole in the wall.

Welcome back Jeanne!! Sounds like you had a lot of fun in Vegas. I am so glad everything woked out with the wedding. 112 degrees is way hot, too hot for me. I would have been down at Slots for Fun with a yard of Margarita!!! That suite sounded awesome....I can't believe it had a workout room!!!!! That is so cool.

Sally - I don't think you will be working in the yard today because it is supose to be hotter than yesterday. Try to stay cool.

Mom - I am jealous, you get to watch the babies today!!!!! I am stopping by after work!!

Oh my gosh, Patty/Patti came out of lurking mode!

Went to see Charlie & the Chocolate Factory at the drive-in last night. We really enjoyed the movie, not to mention it was the 1st movie we had been to in 2 years!

The ended up doing a dye test on Jerry's dad. He has blockages in both legs. What they plan on doing, who knows?

Jeanne: Sounds like everything was wonderful, including the suite!

Sandy: We may have an interesting cruise! Bring the seasickness meds!

I put 1 coat of varnish on the cabinets, except for 1 side of the doors. That will be done today. I really want these cabinets put up this weekend!

Julie: We will have to figure something out, how else are you going to "go on" the cruise with us?

Denine, I already have the seasick meds packed. What do you think I am crazy?

Julie, I do not have a favorite person either. Just seems like all the people on BB are whiney. That drives me nuts. Eric is controlling. Yvette is just a trouble maker and everyone else, well, never mind.

Sally, swamp coolers are cheaper to run than air conditioners by A LOT! But if I could chose again I would get air conditioning cuz when it is humid the swamp doesn't pull it all that good.

Patty/Patti, you can't come out and post one day and disappear the next. Let's see some more posts!

Heidi, yup, this is baby day. See ya after work.

Patti and I are going to meet up for some cheese fries at the race!!!!

Another bad thing about the swamp cooler is how my hair looks with the humidity, but boy when it is hot outside it feels oh so nice!!!!!!

:cool1: :Pinkbounc  :cheer2: :bounce: I hit my goal today. Thanks for the congratulations Heidi! I lost 58 pounds. For some reason :confused3 I lost 3 pounds between Monday and today.

That was the good news. The scary news is that I watched the babies today while Stacey went in for a doctor check up. It was very painful and they found a "mass" on her ovary. She is going for an ultrasound on Monday. I keep telling myself that they would do it right away if they were concerned, RIGHT??

Todays high was 103. Man, it is hot, hot, hot!

WAY TO GO SANDY!!! :cool1:  :cool1: I'm so very proud of you!!! I wish I could lose the weight like you could!!! Don't get worry too much about Stacey. They usually do the ultrasounds right away ( at least my doctor does) just to make sure that IF IF it is something to be concerned about they can locate it, determine what the problem is and take care of it. She had a c-section right? It could be scare tissue or something like that (couldn't it be nurses???). Better to find something now (early if it is something more) and take care of it. Pixie dust her way!!!!!!

Nothing exciting going on here. Went outside with the kids to the pool for awhile. Now Brooke thinks her baby doll should go swimming too! LOL! I put up the small "blow up" pool with about 4 inches of water in it since she still isn't too sure about the big pool and let her play in there. BUT she takes her baby doll in with her (even though I take it away from her before we do the pool, she still manages to find it and take it with her!). SO, now every evening I have to put her baby doll into the dryer! Boy does she have a temper!!!! She has been waking up around 2-3:30am lately screaming SCREAMING at the top of her lungs. I think she is having nightmares, but I'm not sure what to do about them. I pick her up and rock her for awhile until she calms down and then I put her back into her crib. She is awake when I do that and she doesn't scream when I do, sooooooooo the nightmare thing is what I'm going with. I don't want her to think that if she acts like that I will pick her up and she gets up, but I don't THINK that is happening.

Well, gonna go! I'll be on later!!!

Mom - we must have watched different news stations because the one I watched said it was 105 here yesteday and today is supose to hit 106, according to channel 2 news. We are supose to break 3 weather records today.

Pixie Dust and prayers for my sister. Nurses any other possibilities that it could be? I like Julie's idea about scar tissue.

Julie - poor Brooke having nightmares, my best friend's son has night terrors since he was a little under a year, he gets it from his dad because his dad has horrible night terrors.

Today is my friday!!! I have taken every friday off in July except July 29th. I am kinda liking that!!!!!

Okay I have to post one more time here because this will be my 2,000th post!!!!! :cool1: :jumping1:

Good morning everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that Mom was admitted to the hospital last night with another kidney stone attack. They've decided to surgically remove the stone she had before that has only moved a couple of inches. She has passed a lot of little pieces but I guess the one that is causing the most problems doesn't want to move. I'll keep you posted as I hear.

Oh my, Patty. Thanks so much for your post. I will be thinking of your mom all day. I will check back later. Pixie dust and prayers for Sally!

Thanks Julie. I am so pleased that I hit goal weight. It didn't look good a couple of weeks ago. I was steadily gaining for no reason. I am going to ask them today if they will allow me to lose another 5 pounds before they stabilize me because of the cruise. Doesn't hurt to ask! Noah used to have night terrors as well. I am wondering about Brooke. Thanks for the very encouraging words about Stacey. She did have a Csection but I am just not sure what roll the ovaries have other than produce eggs. Hopefully, one of the nurses can set us straight. Monday is a long time away.

Oh no, poor Sally. Pixie Dust and Prayers to her. I hope she gets better soon.

Oh wow, Heidi. You and I posted at the very same time. I watched it on the monitor. Really crazy.

Sandy: I forgot to congratulate you on the weight loss and also to wish Stacey well. I've been through that and it is scarey but so many things can cause "masses" that aren't anything serious.

Pixie dust to Stacey, Mom, Dad for health, Garry for his work schedule, Denine for potty training......hmmm, well maybe pixie dust isn't what is needed for potty training.......

Pixie dust to Sally!

Update on Jerry's dad: They have noted that he has had one and probably 2 heart attacks in the last 4 years. He has an aortic aneurism that they now fear is forming a blood clot. They are going to do a procedure to clean out the artery in his leg, probably tomorrow. He has gangrene on all 5 toes on that foot. If this procedure doesn't work , they will have to amputate below the knee. They said this procedure is short, so he should be OK through it.
Jerry's mom has no fod in the house, so we are going to go shopping for her later and drop the food off.

First thugh, we need to go sign our refinance loan papers, then eat, then travel to Parma to do the shopping.

Sandy: Hopefully it is just an ovarian cyst. Congrats on getting to goal!!!!!!!!!

I didn't lose any weight this week.

Denine: I knew there was someone else having health problems that I missed.....it was Jerry's Dad.......pixie dust to him too

By the way, I cracked up when I read about the "I like chicken" ........Ken and I were trying to remember the other day what the line he kept using was and we couldn't come up with it.........that was it!

Here's the lastest update on Mom that my Dad just sent:

"Your mother had more X-rays this AM to check if she still had the stone and what is happening with it. Seems it did move to the entrance of the bladder so they are hopeful of her passing it. Our Doctor was in this AM and had a long chat with her. Still waiting for a decision on surgery tho. I left for a while now so she could take a nap."

Yeah! at least it moved!

Pixie dust to Jerry's dad and that the surgery goes alright. Wow it has been a rough summer for ALL of us. I think we all need a break and we need to take a group cruise when I win the lotto!!!!!

Patty, thanks for the update. Maybe the pixie dust and prayers are working.

Denine, we are hoping we can do the same for Jerry's dad. I lost another 1.8 so I am now under my goal. I asked if I could continue losing because of the cruise and they said sure. I am 9 pounds over the low end of the scale for my heighth but they don't want it much lower than it is now because of my age. Now remember, you are a little stressed out so the weight loss will more than likely slow down. Don't beat yourself up over it like I did. YOU CAN and WILL do it. Hugs.

Heidi, you are so right. It did get to 105 yesterday and it should again today. Are you ready to go swimming tomorrow? I agree with you, with all that is happening in our DISfamily we need to go on a group cruise. Stacey just called and she picked up the babies pictures. Can't wait to get one. You better call her and put the size you want on hold. We could get lost in the huge Biggs family!

Thanks for helping me through Stacey's ordeal. First it was Heidi's cancer and now Stacey???? But, they told Stacey wrong yesterday. The appt is tomorrow so she doesn't have to wait through the weekend. Makes me feel better.

Will be MIA tomorrow and over the weekend. Going camping. We are finally getting our "normal" life back.
