October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

I finally took the plunge and watched The Amazing Race. Now I am in with the "Cool Crowd"!

I have been trying to post this for about 30 minutes. I have this woman yelling at me she really needs to take a breath! Arrrrgggggghhhhh

Dick is feeling pretty good this morning and they called from the hospital to see how he was feeling....they were so nice there....of course if we had to pay all the bills from there we probably wouldn't think they are so nice...l0l

Our daughter in law fell Sunday and broke her hip and wrist....they did surgery and put pins in her hip...they had her up in a wheelchair yesterday so she wouldn't get blood clots. I guess it was pretty painful for her but they wanted her up 4 hours.

Denine hang in there... have Kaleigh teach her doll to go potty and when she does tell her what a good girl her doll is and after a few times ask her is she can go potty and be a good girl like her doll....if that doesn't work just remember she will be trained a year from now.....lol

Well, today started like yesterday went. I got a phone call from the bank doing our re-finance. When they ran my SS#, it came up with 2 names under it, mine and someone elses. So, I had to make a fraud report with the FTC and put fraud warnings on my credit report. The good thing, I think, is that the SSA only has my married and maiden names in it's database. I hope this all gets straightened out. I spent 2-1/2 hours on it this morning and it isn't resolved yet. I hope it is a mistake and that my SS# wasn't stolen. Luckily, there has not been any activity with that person using my SS#.

I told Jerry last night that if he peed on the floor, I was leaving home! He told me that if he did, he would clean it up before I noticed so I wouldn't leave.

I put Kaleigh in her diapers today. She is happy. I asked if she like them, she said yes. I asked if she liked the pull-ups, she said yes. I asked if she liked the underwear, she said no.

Sally: Glad Dick's surgery went well. Hope the results are good.

I was going to go to the resale store today, but I couldn't with the mess of this morning. Maybe tomorrow. I want to find Kaleigh another formal for the cruise.

Hi Barb, good to hear from you. What? You watched Amazing Race. You watched a reality show. Can't believe it. Not to show my ignorance or anything but how did you watch Amazing Race. Did I miss something or is it in reruns?

Sally, I love it when the hospitals call to check on you. I know I always have questions that pop up AFTER I leave. My mother in law slipped on pine needles (that is why we keep them raked) and broke her hip and they put a pin in also. Very, very painful. The sad part for her is that she was home alone up in the mtns and had to crawl back to the house to call for help. Pixie dust to your DIL.

Denine, if it isn't one thing for you it is another. Good luck with the SS# problem. That sounds horrible. I love the answer Jerry gave you re: peeing on the floor.

Had the babies all day because of their air conditioning. It was fun. Graci did very well.

Wish Heidi was home so I know she made it back safely. Once a mom, always a mom. Heidi, LYMI!

This is the third time I am trying to post

DENINE: Eventually we ALL got potty-trained (we sometimes wear diapers again when we get old!) so don't worry about Kaleigh. When she is ready she will be ready. I don't know do they make diapers for kittys & husbands?

SALLY: Good to know Dick's surgery went well.

Talked with Bonnie & tried to get her to join me in Las Vegas since she has some free airfare. I had to wait to ask her to make sure I had a bed for her & last week the timeshare came through. The "honeymooners" are staying in the timeshare & Teddy & I are staying at Bally's. On Sunday we are all moving to a two bedroom timeshare. Bonnie thinks it will be too hard to get a flight on Friday to Las Vegas & then a flight home Sunday. I hope she tries. It would be great to have a friend out there.

HEIDI: Call your Mom as soon as you get home.

Did lots of running around today but I think I am ready for Las Vegas. Our flight is 6:15 PM tomorrow night. Getting very excited Any one who wants to join me is welcome. Hope you all have a great night. I REALLY hope I can post this. Toodles JEANNE

I know Kaleigh will be potty trained, I just wanted her to be trained before our trip next month. I know how much she complained last October that she couldn't go in the Mickey pool and I didn't want that to happen again. Maybe, she will do it in August when she actually sees the Mickey pool and we tell her she can't go in it.

Just wating for Jerry to be home. I am hungry. Kaleigh is watching Peter Pan.

I may end up turning the air on. My criteria is that is has to be 90 in the house. It is 89, but there is no air moving. We'll see how the evening goes.

We watched the home run hitting contest last night for the All Star break. We will watch the All Star game tonight.

Someone put my mind at ease. We were given room 2000 on the PC cruise. It is listed as a noisy room. Does anyone here know anything about it? A link was given to me and it said the room next to us was listed as noisy and they didn't have a problem with it other than when there were large waves. Should I be concerned?

Wow, Jeanne, you actually talked to a lady by the name of Bonnie. I think I remember her. lol Have a great trip to Las Vegas. When do you return? Can't wait to hear all about it.

Denine, good point. Kaleigh might just see the pool and come around. Wouldn't that be great?

Ted said not to worry about the room 2000. A write up about it is that the noise is the waves hitting the boat on a rough day and he thought that sounded cool.

For those of you who watch Extreme Home Makeover with Ty, they are doing a house just east of the Springs in Peyton...they are there this week and it will be aired in the fall. My grandsons future father in law is working on the house. He is an electrician......

It is so hot today.....it is 85 now at 6:l5 and if I had air conditioning it would be on....I can't stand to be hot and Dick can't stand to be cold...not a good combination

Sally, we love that show. Unfortunately each and every week it makes us CRY! That is so cool about knowing someone working on the house. Can you believe doing it in this HEAT?? Are you going to watch Brat Camp?

Sure, I watch anything that is a reality show.....I guess that says something about regular tv....lol We may go out and see the house this week....take pictures and hope to see someone we know who they are....

It is still so hot in the house tonight.....it is 75 outside and must be 85 inside....every fan in the house is going.....

I'm home, I ended up driving a 15 passenger van because the brand new mini van was dead. The rabbits ate the wires and killed the van. It was fun but a very long day. I was at work at 6:15am and left work at 5:45pm, we left at 7:00 and got back at 5:30. I am tired of driving!!!!

Denine - I can't believe they have 2 names under your SSN. That sounds scary, but luckily the other person hasn't used it so maybe it won't be identity theft. Hope all that works out. What does Kaleigh say when you tell her that she won't be able to go in the Mickey pool? I like Sally's idea with having her teach her dolls how to go potty. Wow, you let your house get that warm, I turn on the air when it gets about 75 degrees!!!!!! Just in the last 2 weeks I have had to turn my air on, if I leave my blinds closed, my house stays really cool.

Sally - That is cool with Extreme Makeover, that show always makes me cry. Let us know if you get out to the house and if you find out when the show will air.

I finally was able to watch Big Brother last night...well for the most part (I fell asleep during the POV challenge). I do not like that Howie guy, he drives me crazy. Also watched Average Joe, those "jocks" are driving me crazy, so much I might stop watching the show. I can't stand it and the girl is definitely going to go with one of the hottie boys.

Mom - I am going to Cody's game tonight, are you? If so I will bring you the Taffy that I got for us at Estes Park. Oh ya, Taura is getting out of her lease and moving to Palomino Park at the end of August. She found 2 cockroaches climbing out of Elijah's sippy cups, 1 dead one on her pillow and suposably the sprayed the complex for cockroaches the night before. That was the final straw, along with the drunk man passed out in front of her unit. Since you are gone, guess what I will be doing Labor Day weekend.....helping Taura move and unpack!!!! Nina sent me a thank you card for her birthday and on it she wrote ps. call me when we can hang out. How cute is that!!!!

Okay guys sorry for all the personal stuff to my mom, I just wanted to make sure I told her before I forgot it all.

Good Morning

Dang wouldn't you know I am finally in with the "Cool Crowd" and I am watching reruns!

Tiffany and I went to the YMCA last night then to Starbucks and sat and drank coffee then over to see Ethan. He is SOOOOOO CUTE
He smiles and smiles Today is Missy's 23rd birthday. I still can't believe my baby has a baby!

It was so hot in the house last night when I got home, I didn't even make dinner. I just stayed downstairs in my scrap book room and scrap booked.

Denine- Did I already ask you about what Baby Einstein would be the best one for Ethan to start off with?

Been trying to read some of the past posts since I have not been on for a few days. Hope every one is doing great.

Just a quick note. I have to go weigh in. Looks like bad news again. Gosh, I am so frustrated.

It is so hot and Stacey still doesn't have the air fixed so she is bringing the babies over again.

On room 2000, I now have two reviews from two individuals that have stayed in that room. One bad and one good.

Heidi, I am going to try and make it to Cody's game. Call me when you leave. Good for Taura. Will talk more to you tonight.

Ethan will be 1. What is the age you have to start paying tips for babies?
Or is it every baby needs to pay tips not matter what it age??

Just a quick good afternoon. We are leaving for the airport at 3:45 PM so we can be over there by 4:15 PM (2 hours before takeoff). Philadelphia Airport is either very good or very bad & you can never figure out why. If we get through security & are just hanging around, maybe we will go to TGIF for dinner. I can't wait to get to Las Vegas & settled in. Off to Michael's tomorrow for centerpieces, Bachlorette Party tomorrow night, Rehearsal Dinner Friday night & Wedding 12 noon Saturday followed by luncheon 2-4 PM. I am not going to keep bugging Bonnie about going. She knows she has an invitation.

If I have computer access, I will post. If not, I won't be back until Tuesday night. Think of me. Miss you all. Toodles JEANNE

Barb: Kaleigh liked Baby Mozart when she was very little. I had to fast forward through part of Baby Bach until she got older. You have to pay tips for everyone in your party no matter what the age. You don't have to pay cruise fare until they are 3, just port charges.

Heidi: Glad you got home safe and sound. You turn the air on at 75? That is when it is finally comfortable and I am not cold!

Sandy: I bet the extra weight is just water gain from the heat. I wouldn't worry about it. Jerry gained 4 pounds for no reason. He lost 2 of those again. I lost 2 more pounds, but remember I haven't weighed myself in a month. I am 6 pounds from my goal.

Made it to the resale store. I got a nice pink dress for Kaleigh and a couple other things. Then we went to the Italian market where I picked up a bottle of wine and some fresh mozzarella. Then off tho the farm market for some fresh tomatoes, strawberries and cherries. Tried to get a library card, but I didn't have anything with my current address with me. Dinner is tomato and mozzarella salad with pesto and balsamic vinegar with wine and fruit for dessert.

Still working on getting my SSN straightened out. I have to get a letter from them stating that this is my SSN so that we can add my name to the checking account for the loan. We also have to print off some report from the company that has 2 people under my SSN and call them and maybe send something in to dispute it. We looked at my credit report last night and all is fine with that. My score is 817 and Jerry's is the high 700's. We are really hoping it is a clerical error and not a theft. What a pain!

Sandy: I forgot to add, don't worry about cabin 2000. How much time are you going to be in there anyway? We are hardly in our cabin on a Disney cruise. There is way too much going on.

Yesterday during our little field trip I noticed my leg was sore when I kept getting out of the van, I thought nothing of it. When I got home, I changed into some comfy shorts and Chris yelled "OMG what happened to your leg, looked at my leg where it had been hurting throughout the day and there is this massive huge bruise on the side/back of my right leg. I realized when I was sliding out of the van (because it was big) I kept hitting the seat belt and it has caused this huge bruise. I am sure it will be so nice looking by the time of the funeral, hopefully I can find shorts to cover it so I am not the talk of the family!!!!

Jeanne - Have fun in Las Vegas and at the wedding....take lots of pictures.

Denine - ya 75 degrees, I like to be cold and wrap up in a blanket...can't wait to see what the bill will be!!!
