October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

We had a good day in Amish. Bought a lot of necessary stuff, had a nice lunch and a nice drive. We also bought a bunch of wine, which means I now have a bottle for the wine party in August. Kaleigh didn't want to come home and she is now a crab! She was back to my sweet child the whole day until we came home.

Jerry and Kaleigh didn't get home from his parents until almost 9:30 last night. Kaleigh's bedtime is 8 PM. Oh well. We did drink the wine and watched the ball game. We have another bottle in the fridge for tonight.

I am guessing we are not getting together with Julie tomorrow since I haven't heard from her. The DISmeet party is tomorrow at noon until whenever. If you guys want to come, Towncrier would be happy to have you. It is in Macedonia. If not, let me know about Monday.

Nothing else going on.

Couldn't let Julie talk to herself so I thought I would post to say I hope you are all having a nice Memorial Day with friends & family Work Saturday & Sunday was very busy but all my patients were great! Catching up on housework today - clothes in washer, dishwasher running, swiffered floors, still picking up dog toys, etc., etc., etc.

Getting very excited with all these bridal showers & weddings. First bridal shower is scheduled for Diana next Saturday. I still have to put together her basket but I already ordered the corsage & cake. I mailed all Summer's bridal shower presents. I made my hairdresser & makeup appointments for July 1st. I have to make the appointments for Las Vegas soon too!

Happy Memorial Day!!

Here it is about 4:00 and I am at work. Yipeeeee. I am required to work one holiday every year so I put my name in for Memorial Day since we had no plans and I want to get out of the way my obligation before the "Real" holiday hit. Last year I got stuck working New Years Day which was on a Saturday!! I am only working 4 hours today so I still have to work 4 hours. I hope to get drawn for 4th of July so I am done. I am in a huge building and I am one of about 4 people on my floor.

Happy Memorial day!

We did not go to the DISmeet yesterday. We ended up staying home and painting our bedroom. That took 8-1/2 hours. It's a big room. We didn't finish until 9 PM. Then we sat down and drank a bottle of blueberry wine. Very good!

Today, we took Kaleigh to the park to play and Jerry washed and waxed the Rendezvous. Sorry Julie, I didn't get your post until now, 6:30 PM. We may have to wait until WDW, unless we can get together during the week.

This has been a beautiful weekend. I guess Julie got the rain. It has only rained at night here and has been sunny and upper 60's low 70's.

Jerry is going to call tomorrow to get mulch delivered since it supposed to nice the next few days. I just orederd some shrubs for the front yard.

Barb: Sorry you are stuck at work. I have been known to pick up a hoiliday just for the extra pay.

Jeanne: Your excitement show in your posts!

I may not be on tomorrow. I have to take Kaleigh to the grocery store in the morning and weed during nap time and mulch when Jerry gets home if they can deliver it tomorrow and then colapse!

Now I have to go give the Princess a bath.

Hi everyone, thank you for the birthday wishes!!! I had a great birthday ( I could have lived without the rain, but it was still fun!!!) Very nice relaxing weekend.

Spent $1,000 yesterday on a couch and a bunch of other necessities to better my house!!!

Barb - I can't believe you have to work on Holidays, not much fun!!!! Does Jaymee work at the Joe's near Chappel Hills? My mom and I drove passed there and the Cracker Barrell on Friday. I had to stop at the Red Robin and we also stopped at the Super Walmart. That place was packed on Friday.

I couldn't fall asleep last night so I have about 1 hour of sleep in me, thank goodness I slept 12 hours on Thursday night!!!!

Barb, wasn't it a horribly cold weekend? My gosh, Heidi got in the pool when the sun came out for about 15 minutes but it was too cold to stay. Today is to be another cold one for you....colder than us!

Jeanne, you are getting everything together quite nicely. I hope you are keeping a log of what needs to be done on which project and when. My gosh, I can't believe everything you have going. I would be sending the wrong gifts to the wrong girl etc.

Susan, what was up your sleeve for this weekend?

Denine, your weekend sounded busy but at least you had the nice weather that you so love. Everytime you say you went to the Amish, I get so jealous.

Our weekend was great despite the cold and wet weather. Didn't do much. Celebrated the girls birthday on Saturday. We had dinner up at the hospice last night with Ted's dad. That was very nice. I love the way they allow that.

Heidi, I didn't sleep good at all last night either. I think we slept too good over the weekend. Too bad you didn't ask me to help you spend your money. You know how I like to do that! You forgot to tell everyone that your "baby" got hailed on yesterday. Hope there isn't any damage to your Pathfinder!

Oh ya that.....Did I mention my precious piece of metal was HAILED on yesterday. It was so sad. I will have to wait to clean my car and get it in sunlight to see how much damage was done....thank god I lowered my deductible.

Mom - did you notice any damage at home since I was about 4 blocks from your house?

Where did Bonnie disappear to? She didn't even come out to wish me a happy birthday, I hope she is okay.

Things are really coming together now (it's about time). Bridal shower gifts have all been sent to California & the others all wrapped & ready to go.on Saturday. We decided to have the rehearsal dinner here & Derek is going to talk to Olive Garden about party trays. Since he has worked there for several years I am hoping they will give him some kind of discount. Still waiting for my second dress to get delivered. That is a REALLY LONG story.

Grocery shopping is done and I just spent the last 2 hours weeding. The mulch has been delivered, but we will eat before we tackle it. I'm hungry!

I believe Bonnie went to WDW. She is to come back on the 7th. Or, maybe she is leaving tomorrow.

Heidi: How fun, new furniture! Too bad about the hail. I hope no damage.

Sandy: Glad you had a nice weekend in spite of the rain.

We made it to JUNE!!!! I can't believe it is already June, time is flying by this year, the year is already half over....unbelievable, soon it will be Christmas!!

I don't know what it is but I just cannot sleep these past two days. I have had about 4 hours of sleep in the last 2 nights. I slept perfect camping (10-12 hours a night!!!) and now I just can't fall asleep. NyQuil didn't even help me fall asleep last night.

I locked myself out of the computer this morning so I had to wait an hour until the help desk opened, better get to work since I am an hour behind.

Belated Happy Birthday Heidi.....we went to Patti's last Friday and came home yesterday....had a great time....we scrapbooked, shopped and ate...perfect vacation.

It is very cloudy so far today and only 56.....I need to cut the lawn and do some yardwork....

Well we're in June and it can only mean summer and the warm weather is coming.

BONNIE: Hope you are having a great time in WDW. Please eat a filet for me in Canada. Don't forget tell Mickey I still love him!

Tomorrow my son is giving me my birthday present; he is having the carpets cleaned for me (boy do they need it!). Between the dogs & all the rain we have had, the dirt is just ground into the rugs.

My poor cousin (who is staying with "the ladies") started having chest pain last night & I took her to the ER. Everything was okay - they did an EKG, cardiac enzymes, chest x-ray, etc. I think it is all from anxiety - she is staying with "the ladies", her husband is getting a divorce & re-marrying on Saturday, her two boys (19 & 22) are still in North Carolina at her house & she is starting a new job on the weekends up here in New Jersey. I am having chest pain just thinking about all that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot I am suppose to go with a friend to do the monthly shopping for her church at Sam's today so may not get the lawn cut this morning.....

The not sleeping is a way of life with me and I don't think I will ever get use to it....a 6 hr night is really good....most are not. I never have been one to sleep much...wish I was.
