Oh I forgot

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENINE!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS HEIDI!!!!

I love the shower favor ideas, mind if I steal it

:Pinkbounc  :cheer2: :cool1: :flower: Barb, I am so excited for you. Let us know right away! Wow, what a day. Barb a grandma and my baby moving out. Emotional day for both of us. Sounds like you had a good time in Oregon! I am sure Heidi wouldn't care if you stole the shower favor idea. It turned out perfect and the poem can't be beat.

Well, Heidi just left to close. I hugged her and told her how proud of her I was. Big mistake.....it set us both off, again.

Is Barb a grandma yet???? I hope we don't have to wait until she gets to work on Monday!!

Congratulations Heidi!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you! Best of luck in your new home!!! Now you need a tool set...hammer, cordless drill, wrench, plumbing tools...hmmm.

Julie-you're the best!! Pick ya up on the way! I'll drop the ladder down as we fly over. Not sure what I am going to do.

What a day at work. Well, I have one starting on the 11th of May...the nurse who worked for us before so that will be wonderful!!! 3 interviews set up...1 looks good the other 2 eh? Not too crazy about them looking at their resumes.

And I am still haunted by the one who is gone...calling my nurses and saying things that are really bothering them.

Had a good two work days on Thursday & Friday :cheer2: :cheer2:

BONNIE: Would love to go to Denver but I can't afford another trip until after the wedding :bride: :groom: and Panama Canal Cruise :boat:. I don't have any free air miles. Sounds like work may be getting better for you.

BARB: We are anxiously waiting...

JULIE: Very jealous but hoping it is a wonderful trip :earboy2:

HEIDI: Congratulations to the new homeowner!

Hope you all have a great weekend. Miss you all :grouphug:. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Sorry I didn't get on-line yesterday.

Heidi: I did think about you yesterday. Congrats on being a homeowner! Now the real fun begins, making the place your own!

Barb: So?

Barb: Sounds like you had a great time in Oregon!

Bonnie: Can't plant because of the cold and rain, but the snow is gone.

Julie: Don't you love airline prices? Hope you are feeling better today.

Bought the cabinets for the laundry room last night. Now I have to stain them. We also got our bathroom lights yesterday. They are going to look really nice.

We have an 80th birthday party to go to tonight. It is for Jerry's uncle and it is at a bowling alley in a not so nice area. Should be interesting. We are taking one of his mom's cousins with us since she lives fairly close to us and doens't want to drive it herself.

More rain today and the rest of the weekend.

Maybe I can get started on at least one of our projects this weekend.

Good Morning!! :sunny:

Our little bundle of joy is here safe and sound. It was so awesome!! :cloud9:

Ethan Robert Reist 6" 14.8 18 1/4" and the most beautiful baby in the world!! :earsboy:

Jaymee and Tiffany took Missy to the hospital since Mike was not able to get off of work. They got there about 10:30. Mike got there around 1:00 and I left work around 2 picked up Bob and got there around 3:30. Michelle, Jason's soon to be wife got there around 7:30. We sat around in her room anxiously awaiting. I have never witnessed a labor that was pain free. She didn't feel anything. Around 9:30 they checked her and he was ready. Bob and I were able to stay in for the entire delivery. It was amazing. They had to suckion his little head and pull him but other then that it was trouble free.
Mike kept telling Missy how good she was doing. He was a good support for her.

He cried for a while and every time he would stop the nurse would shake him so he would start up again. After about 5 minutes which seemed like forever to me because all I wanted to do was hold him she wrapped him up and we got to pass him around. Jaymee had left around 9:00 to go get Mike some clothes so she wasn't there but the rest of us got to see him right a way. Jason came up from New Mexico and got there around 10:30 Jaymee got back around then too. It was so fun to watch the expression on Mikes face as he cuddled this tiny little bundle and realized that it was his baby.

Can't wait to get there today and hold that baby!! :teeth:

Missy is doing great. She was eating dinner when we left around 11:30.

Can't wait to take him to Disney and have his picture taken with Mickey!! ::MickeyMo

Barb

Heidi- Congratulations on your new place!!! I finally opened up the email you sent with the pictures. It is really cute! My favorite is the bath tub one. I am going to print it and put it in my scrap book with my Disney cruise friends!

Congrats grandma Barb and to the proud parents!!

Now, we need pictures!

CONGRATS TO GRANDMA BARB AND GRANDPA BOB!!! YEAH TO MISSY AND MIKE!!!!!

I'm sure everyone is tired but happy! We want to see pictures!!

Really pretty miserable here in N.J. so it is nice to go on the boards & read the happy news.

BARB & BOB: Congratulations Grandmom & Grandpop. Time :hourglass to spoil baby Ethan rotten! So glad to hear that Missy is doing fine too!

Nothing exciting happening here. Did wash all morning & then went to Sam's to pick up my pictures from the "Spring Fling" & the wedding I went to last week but, of course, they weren't ready & no one knows why or what happened. I was told to come back tomorrow. What is the price of gas again? $2.09 a gallon! Hope you all had a better Saturday then me. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THE PARROTT FAMILY !!!!

Just got home from a big day of painting at Heidi's place. We are dead tired but wanted to check in and see if Missy had the baby.

Jeanne, gas here is averaging for the 85 octane 2.19 but we can get it at a Safeway for 2.12. Your 2.09 is nice! All three of our vehicles need gas and I bet we will spend close to 200.00 dollars on gas this weekend to fill all three cars. Not looking forward to that one!

Ted's dad had to go to the hospital today for an emergency transfusion. Luckily we got Ted's sister to take him this morning so Ted could help paint but Ted has to take him home at MIDNIGHT. Poor Ted!!

Hi all! Boy everyone is busy today! Everyone must be either painting or playing with Ethan!! Just checking in for today! I'll be back later tonight!

I feel so alone!!!!! No one to talk to....... hear stories.......... Oh well, I hope to see some people tomorrow!

TTFN

Welcome to our little DIS family, Ethan!!! Congrats to all the Parrott family. Barb, I am so excited for you. I am so glad everything went well. Keep us posted!

Congrats to Heidi on the new mortgage (oops) I mean, home!

We were at Myrtle Beach having a surprise 50th anniversary luau party for Paul's parents. All five of the children were there - that's only happened 3 times in 23 years!! It went great but there is always some drama. Unfortunately, the trip ended with an intervention with the middle son. Paul and one of the sisters have stayed down there for the week to help with his parents and get him into AA and maybe even rehab this week. It was very emotional but he admitted he had a problem and wants help. He went to his first AA meeting last night and he thinks it is going to be a big help. Whew!!! My Dad, brother and Turner are all doing fine. This time we were dealing with the other side of the family.

I've got to get ready for work but will try to get back on thsi evening. I have to pick Stanley up at the kennal after work and with Paul gone all week it will be busy, but I will try!

Miss you all!
Later!

CONGRATS GRANDMA BARB, AND TO THE ENTIRE PARROTT FAMILY!!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cool1: How exciting, I can't wait until it's the Van Horn's turn to have a baby in the family!!!!

Barb - of course you can steal the favor ideas!!!! They took a whole night to make and holding Ethan might take up all your free time!!! ;)

Okay I have now learned that I am not destined to be a painter, basically I just suck at painting and so does Chris, and so does Taura!!! Note to self: Do not quit day change and change careers. The three of us attempted to paint the master bedroom/bathroom and to our suprise the next day, the yellowish color that was originally there was shining through!!! My poor dad and BIL had to redo the rooms that Chris, Taura and I did!!! We had to make 3 trips to Sears to keep getting paint, the walls were sucking up all the paint...We ended up having to buy all the paint on the shelves, we cleaned them out!!! Very expensive weekend for me. :earseek:

Very busy weekend, exhausted, ready to lay around and do nothing...but am stuck going to work. The first 3 weekends in May are going to be so busy. First painting, next weekend moving, the next weekend baby shower, the weekend after that is NOTHING!!!!, and the weekend after that is my birthday and first BIG weekend of camping. Sums up the weekends in May for you!!! Gee we are starting to sound as busy as Susan!!! :smooth:

I dislike my sister's MIL and she isn't even MY inlaw. She sent me another email today thanking ME for helping HER with the baby shower......what the heck, I am the one putting on the baby shower, I am the one planning the baby shower but she cannot get it out of her head that it is all me and I am not "helping her" with the baby shower. Can I just smack her? I just want to tell Stacey, but Chris talked me out of it and told me to let it go because Stacey knows I am the one planning it and she doesn't need to know what else is going on "behind the scenes with her MIL" so she can just enjoy the party. But c'mon can I really smack her?

okay vent over

Mom - Randy stopped by this morning to congratulate me and to see how things went this weekend. He asked me if it is in the complex that you turn right into off of Webster. I told him yes and he said "those are very nice" and then he said, "Dianna and I were driving by there this weekend and we saw the units." Right, just driving by....you know he drove by to check them out because they NEVER drive over there, because there isn't anything over there that isn't by their house!!!!
