Morning guys,
Hope Sally and Dick are feeling better. Hugs!
Bonnie, you are doing sooooo good. It is hard to give up some of those foods. My problem food was pasta. The cravings are over. I didn't HAVE to give it up but weight loss would be faster without potatoes, rice and pasta. Quite honestly, I thought it would be harder to do than what it was. But of course, I don't work and have it around me constantly. I am not sure but we are getting into LA soooo early on Friday that we MIGHT go to DL for the day. Just don't know if I want to give up a hundred dollars that I might rather spend in port somewhere. Decisions. Wish Ted was getting a raise. Rumor has it that they are only getting a point2 raise. Yep that's .2%. Not even worth it. Last year they got NONE!! Bad times at the City.
Heidi, Survivor night but I will tivo it. Call and let me know. I got up early today to get on the computer and Heather got here a half hour early. Thank goodness I wanted to get on the computer!!
Denine, I have only been weighing myself everyday this week since my weight was going crazy. Otherwise, to get half of my money back from LAWL I have to weigh in 3 times weekly. It makes me stay on track because I can't go with the attitude that I have X amount of days before I weigh in so I can have that pizza or whatever.
Well, my doctor called and my thyroid is very borderline. It is to the point of deciding whether or not to medicate. I chose not to at this time until I do some research. After all, I AM losing but want to see what all it affects. Any suggestions or input from anyone?? My cholesterol went down 59. That was good. I was at 249 in November and now it is 190. But the 249 was right after the cruise. I told him I didn't want to take anything for it because I had just gotten off the cruise 2 days prior and was sure that didn't help. And of course, knowing that I was losing weight as well.
Have a great day everyone. Missing all the regular posters. Susan, Sally, Julie, Lori, Krista......
