Hello everyone!

Here I am stuck in Special lines ( Motorcycle, Trailers, Motorhomes, snowmobiles and Mobile homes) training. I get to add it to my skills.

One of the ladies has been coughing since she walked in the door. We are in a little room so after 2 days of her cough and blowing her nose I have got a cold. Grrrrrrrrrr I feel so lousy today. I totally blame her!

I am trying to read the board secretly when the instuctor is not looking but it is not easy.

Well break is over better look like I am paying attention.

Hi all! Sorry to be missing. I have been horribably sick for the last few days. I have been like a chinese firecracker..... "exploding at both ends"!! The good news is I have lost 4 lbs!!!! I'm feeling better today. Brooke has been sick since monday and has an ear infection, the Big Guy has a horrible cold and cough and didn't go to school all this week and Makenzie STILL has her cough and still doesn't feel 100%. Today she is complaining of a headache. There is strep going around, so it wouldn't surprise me! ON TOP of all that, Garry's computer got a virus and now isn't working and my computer's email isn't working. AND my dad is going in today for a stress test so pixie dust to him please. Another fun filled week at the Lauter's. Didn't someone say that the "new year" should be better then the last? Could someone tell that to the person in charge of the Lauter luck?????

Heidi,congrats on your team. I really didn't like Kendra because of her "attitude" towards the 3rd world countries, but oh well!

Sandy, shame on you for not calling your daughters!!! You better next time or they will send you to bed with out any supper!

Bonnie, hope you get your paperwork done early so you can have those 2 days off for you!

Jeanne, sounds like you have been very busy at work! Just think..... in less then 6 months you will be sailing away on a cruise I can only dream of!

Denine, congrats on the weight loss and to Jerry too!

Susan, pixie dust your way!!!! And lots of it!!! When we had our first cat, Radar, he was only 4 yrs old when he got sick and we spent A LOT of money to keep him healthy and around for more years, but he lost the battle about 2 months after we did all that we could. We still talk about the great times we had with him. THis was a cat that played fetch and could catch flies in mid air! Glad to hear about your brother! Pixie Dust for him too!

Barb, don't you just love people like that? They don't care that they will get everyone else sick. The people that Garry work with are like that, he comes home sick from working with people who cough all over things, sneeze without covering their noses, etc... what slobs! Hope you get better soon.

Whoa, who was it that posted before me? Sorry Julie about everything that is going on at your house. I really feel for you! Your post just told me NOT to call the girls if my car breaks down. Go to bed without dinner?? Hey, more weight off! It was Kendra's attitude towards the 3rd world that turned me off with her. How could she say such horrible things? .....and in front of a camera? Not a proud moment for her! Julie, Ted has his girl scout cookies already so let me know what I owe you!

Barb, sorry you are sick. If only people would cover their mouths, wash their hands etc!!

Jeanne, my LA lites, I just learned, have soy protein in them. Supposedly soy protein is hard to digest so it speeds up your metabolism. Maybe if you find products with soy protein to substitue with my LA lites.

Bad day for me. The Suburban will cost 900.00 to fix plus Graci has diahrea. Man, I just want a diet coke. Anyone going 7-11 way?

Pixie dust and prayers for Julie's dad and the Lauter family. Sounds like you Lauter's are starting out the New Year with a bang!! I hope things start to work out for you soon and everything calms down.

So Jeanne - I am guessing by your response I should avoid sharing a room with Pam!!! Maybe I will sneek on and sleep on the Deck 4 chairs.

Mom - have you checked out www.minimus.com yet? If the rest of you guys ever want travel size items, check out that website...I found it pretty cool!

Julie: You guys just can't catch a break. I know Makenzie was still coughing and Brooke had started coughing on Saturday. Hope everyone starts to feel better. Maybe you should fumigate the house once everyone is well.

Sue: Poor Abby. I completely understand what you are going through. My mom's cat is in CRF too, but seems to be holding her own. Continued pixie dust to your brother.

Sandy: EEK! Sometimes I really hate cars! You should have called someone to pick you up.

Bonnie: We'd love to go to WDW after the cruise, but, since we are going to DL before, we just can't. It would have been cool to do both in 1 trip though.

Flurries in the air and cold. We leave SUnday and it will probably be cold and rainy in Hilton Head. That is our luck anyway.
I was baking this morning stuff to take on our trip. Some 1 point mini muffins and 2 points bran muffins. I need to bake more, but I need a couple of things from the store. I also made dinner while I was at it, so all I have to do is put it in the oven.

I work in the morning, so I won't be on until evening.

Had a great day because after the Maternal/Child Skills we went to the Main Street Pub with four other nurses. I ate a salad a drank tea (see Sandy I am TRYING to be good).

It is REALLY cold now . The cold front came through but no snow yet. Tomorrow is take my Mom to the eye dr. at 9:00 A.M. & then meet Joyce at 12:30 P.M. for a conference called "Take your job & love it" in Vineland, N.J. We are only going because they FEED us . Heidi-you would get along fine with Pam...I just don't do well with neurotic people...she took her mom to the ER because she had a rash on her side (I told her probably shingles-I was right)...no other symtoms...I said why the ER for something like that....oh I need a dose of patience!!!!! SHe is a good person...just oil and water we are. Can you imagine if she had moved in here temporarily like she planned? I would be going to sing sing not the cruise!

Good morning everyone, today is supose to hit 60 degrees and I am sure we will have beautiful blue skies!! TGIF!!!!

Bonnie - I know what it is like with you and Pam, I have a coworker that hates our other coworker...they are definitely oil and vinegar, they fight constantly and can't stand eachother. (The guy is my boss's recently ex-husband). I can't think of anyone yet who I haven't really jelled with!!!

I am going to go beat up a coworker right now, she is making me and another specialist very angry because she is pointing fingers and she has NO clue. Will post later. Have a great day!!

Beautiful day as Heidi said. I really haven't been out all that much this week (except for the walk home) so I have plans just to be gone all day doing nothing. I have what I call a stuffy headache. I just need to get away. Will check back in later after I weigh in and shop.

No, it's nothing to really start a fight, I was just kidding and needed to vent!!! Here is the story: A coworker named Julia asked me to do a vacancy announcement for her and to teach the assistants how to do it (found out later Julia has no clue on how to do a vacancy announcement on the new system hence why she asked me to do it) anyway, I did it because I am nice and another coworker reviewed it and it got approved by the manager and the approving official. All we were waiting for was Julia to read the announcement and say it was okay...no she messed around in the system, changed the closing dates and duties (messing up the format due to no word wrapping). The announcement was supose to be out for 2 weeks, well it went out for a day because she screwed up. Then she sends us an email stating due to our error and getting it approved she has to start all over again.....WHAT she didn't even do the steps so what is this AGAIN? This is how we found out she had no idea what she was doing because you can just copy the closed vacancy put on a new number and it is okay. Vent over.....Thanks!!!

Lets just say you can cut the tension with a knife today in the office!!!! 4 hours left!!!!

Hey Barb!

Heidi, at least it is the weekend and everyone will have time to calm down.

I don't know what is up with sizes. I needed another pair of jeans just to wear when I am washing my other ones. I didn' want to pay regular price so I tried on some clearance slacks at Kohls and brought into the dressing room with me 3 sizes. 10,12,14. I grabbed the first one, tried it on and it slipped on just perfect. I thought they had to have been the 14. Nope, it was the 10's. Come on, I have only lost 35 pounds. But hey, I bought them. Size 10 and $10.00 perfect combination!!

Well, we probably will get the Suburban back tonight. I have been driving the BAD BOY and surprisingly enjoying it but I want MY car back. I don't go into certain parking lots with fear of not getting back out again. That truck is so dang big!

Joyce & I went to a boring conference today & left early. She headed to the shore & her daughter & I headed home to my house. My son Teddy took me out for an early Valentine's Day dinner at TGIF. We ate the $12.99 dinners. I ate off the Atkin's side (I am trying to be good). It was REALLY good.

Off to work Saturday & Sunday. Hope you all have a nice weekend. Toodles JEANNE
