Sandy, nope didn't get the site. Did get to see your cool magnet!

Heidi and Sally, I really like Benji and Heidi, BUT I really think the judges like Travis the best. I liked Donella, but I don't think she is as versitile as the others. It's all going to come down to the votes. I wish they would have two winners, but we all know that won't happen. THey all will have get jobs as dancers that's for sure! I won't get upset if either Benji or Heidi wins, BUT I will be a little disapointed if the other two win it. Travis reminds me of the winner from last season. We shall see!!!

How about Big Brother????? I don't really have a favorite. CHill Town I didn't like at first,BUT their phone calls in the DR are too funny!!! I sorta like them now, but don't really want them to win. I can't stand CAN'T STAND Janelle!!!! I liked Jase this season (the last time he was on the show, I didn't but this year he was ok). I guess if I had to pick SOMEONE right now, I would pick Chicken George to win. Erika doesn't do anything,Danielle is evil, Marcellas is just nasty at times, James is an idiot!, Kaysar is ok but will be leaving this week I think, Howie is crazy and strange, Boogie is Dr. Will's puppet, Dr. Will won before and wasted the money, SO, I guess CG is the one. I feel bad that he took the slop for the rest of his time in the house.

Well, gotta go! I've got a PTA meeting tonight and I have to go and make some kind of dessert or salad for it.

Be back later!

Julie, I chose Chicken George. I like him the best. He is the ONLY one with HEART. I sent the design gallery link to your email.

hmmm, I think I would vote for chicken George too.....but I am not too excited about who is left.

Hi all! Just finished making "poor man turtles" (mini pretzels with a rollo candy (put that in 400 degree oven for 4 minutes then smush a pecan nut on top, yummy!!) I might make something else, but not too sure yet.

So, anyone want to fly over and see Darren?? NOT!! Boy have things really gone crazy in this world! I usually put my shampoos and other toiletries in ziplock bags and put it in our check luggage anyways, but they are saying (at least going to and from the UK) no electronics! There is noooooooo way I would put my cell phone, camera, video camera or laptop in the checked luggage. We had our luggage gone through in June (we had a piece of paper that was placed in our cases that said they had gone through it) and I don't trust those people who go through the luggage not to steal anything. Isn't that horrible that we think like that? I know that they are screened very well when hired by the airlines (my brother works for Southwest Airlines) BUT there are some people who when temptation is there, they can't resist.

I really hope they catch these last remaining 30 or so people and put them in jail and throw away the key! OK, I'm done venting. But these events are just horrible. Everytime something happens like this, Garry gets called in do to the elevated security level. Knock on wood, todays events haven't required Garry to go in, but we never know when he will get call to go in. If I ever get my hands on one of these terrorist....... It won't be pretty.

Ok, enough about that, sorry had to get that off my chest!

Be back later!

Julie, the last cruise we had TSA go through our luggage both ways. I tell you, they can sure tear up what you so neatly placed in luggage. I understand BUT do they have to make a mess of things? I kind of wonder if that is why I had a big ooey gooey mess in one of them. I, too, put them in ziplocs but I can't remember what leaked.

Oh my gosh, Julie's poor man turtles sound heavenly!!

What is so crazy that pretty much they use religion to do this horrible terrorist stuff. I don't know about you Julie but I am a bit nervous about flying in about a month.

We went to the fair last night and had a great time. We were there for several hours and still didn't see everything. I guess that is what happens when a little person has to keep going on the rides. We didn't do too bad food-wise either.

Jerry is ready to drive! We put so much stuff in our carry-on's that is liquid. Have to figure out a new way to pack. Jerry just finished booking the rental car, no good deals.

Congrats Anna Marie!

When the lady calls me, I am going to host a wine tasting party. I would like to do it in November. It sounds like fun, don't you think Julie? We met her at the fair last night at one of the booths.

Julie: I guess you missed the part about the fact that Kaleigh's birth mom is married. She married on Kaleigh's birthday 2 years ago.

We are sooo tired today. We didn't get to be until about midnight.

They called today and I am having my SI joint injection tomorrow. I don't know if I will be put under sedation or not, but I am not allowed to eat or drink after 8:15 tomorrow morning. I have to be there at 11:45. I really hope this works.

My shears/vertical blins for the slider window came today. Yippee! Now, I just need to go to Home Depot for the valance rod. The kitchen will look so nice come Kaleigh's birthday party on September 23rd. Another Tinker bell party.

I don't know if I will be on tomorrow since Jerry is working from home. I work on Saturday morning and we are going to the Corn Festival some time this weekend. More rides for Kaleigh.

Mom - Don't be worried to fly, I can't take care of 2 people afraid to fly!! I am so nervous now that electonics are banned on how I will keep Emily entertained and not worried for 5 hours. How are we going to meet up with Chris's family or you guys after the plane since we will be taking Magical Express and have to put our cell phones in the checked luggage.

Denine, major pixie dust your way that your injection works! That is so cool that Kaleigh's birth mom got married on Kaleigh's birthday. She must still love her.

Heidi, I thought that cell phones were not permitted just in the UK. Am I wrong? I sure hope not! Anyway, we both have different dinner plans that night. Maybe if we want to meet up we could just say a certain time, certain place at MGM. No, I am not THAT bad about flying but deep down I do have concerns. I have several things here at the house for the girls on the plane. I think Emily will get on and forget that she is flying once she starts pulling out all the new things to play with.

Lori: You post and that is all you say???????????? You can do better than that!

They really treated my injection yesterday like a surgery. It was at an outpatient surgery center. I had to change out of everything and put the hat and booties on and a gown. They put an IV in my hand which later blew, so now my hand is bruised and sore. They gave me a relaxing medication (versed) through my IV, which other than the initial effect did nothing. Just about everyone waiting ,was getting a block of some sort done by the same doc. He is a pain management doc. I was even wheeled into recover and was ginve gingerale and cookies. They had to take me to the car in a wheelchair. The injection site is sore, and they really didn't want me to go to work today, but I went anyway. I am more sore from bending. I just told the caregivers that I couldn't lift anyone today. I go back to the ortho in 2 weeks. I hope this works.

Heidi: Electronic items are only banned in the UK, not here. I hope they change stuff by the time we fly in OCtober. We carry so many liquids in our carryons, not to mention that we take pop on board and juice for Kaleigh. How are we supposed to bring our alcohol purschaes home?

Sandy: Kaleigh's birth mom keeps pictures of her up in her apartment.

GOing to go to a used furniture place today. It was recommended by a co-worker.

Just received the 14 books I ordered for Kaleigh earlier this summer. THey look so cool. I have often wished I had them since I ordered them.

What can I say? I have an incredibly boring life! The kids are at Ben's this weekend and I didn't even line up a hot date! Sounds like you all are active as ever though. I've over volunteered my time out as usual. School starts this Wednesday so I need to dust off the homework whip. Darn. The usual stuff. Busy, crazy yet haven't saved the world in days.

JULIE: First of all - nothing about the EAGLES/BROWNS Game? :happytv:

LORI: I know your life is probably way more exciting than ours!

DENINE: I didn't realize you are still in contact with Kaleighs birth mother. Could be a very awkward situation but it sounds like she has moved on with her life and that things are good.

SANDY: Sent you a PM. I don't know if I like these "door magnet secrets". You know how I am, I am getting very excited :Pinkbounc  :cool1: and having secrets just gets me MORE excited :Pinkbounc  :cool1: :cool1: I don't even know if the body armor is going to work to get me into my clothes!

HEIDI: The plane ride could be a challenge but I know your Mom will come through.

Just worked four 12 hour shifts in a row but each day was a great day. I had the nicest group of patients and even all the new admissions were just the nicest people. Now I am off until Thursday. Today is dedicated to doing wash, cleaning, shopping and, of course, catching up on all the posting all the things that weren't done for the four days I worked!

I hope it's not a a Manic Monday. The weather in N.J. has been perfect. Turned off the air after my $483.00 electric bill but it has been 60 degrees at night. Forcasters are saying the heat is coming back :furious: Miss you all! :grouphug: Toodles JEANNE alias Disney Dudette Two

Hi Lori, did you enjoy all the rain last night?

Jeanne - $483.00 electric bill, OMG I would have passed out if that was my bill.

Denine - glad the injection went okay, sounds painful though!!

I had a good weekend, got to spend time with my sister, BIL, niece, nephew, and my parents down at the campground. It rained a lot down there and a lot up at my house last night.

Good Morning!

Back from Oklahoma and back to work. I had taken today off but decided instead to come in. Tiffany was so excited about being there it was a comfort to watch her. The college kept her so busy on Saturday and Sunday we hardly got to see her. They had a lot of ice breaking things for the new freshman. Today when I got to work there was the sweetest email from her thanking me for everything and how much she loved and appreciated me that I sat here and cried. Thanks Tiff! :sad1:

On Friday night Tiffany had to run off to one of her events so Bob and I set up her room. We had bought her a black comforter because she wanted her room in black and pink. I sewed pink bows on the comforter. She has this ugly teal colored head board thing. We covered it with pink material and I sewed black bows on it. She is all black and pink now. Bob put together her shoe rack and got her power strips and lamp set up I hung all her clothes. So when she walked in that night instead of plastic containers full of stuff we had her room all set up. I even put a new pink bow on her bunny that she has had since she was about 3. She loves that bunny. He was sitting on her bed with his new bow leaning against a black pillow that I sewed pink bows on.

While we were in Tulsa I bought Ethan the cutest giraffe halloween costume. We are going to take him to "Boo at the Zoo" in October he will look soooo cute feeding the giraffes in his costume.

I'm sure I have missed a lot of posts so can you explain what all the "Secrets"
are about?

Welcome back Lori. Good to see you posting again. What have you been up too?

Barb - that was so sweet of you and Bob to set up Tiffany's room for her, that is always the worst part. I do not like unpacking!! Must have been an extremely hard weekend for you. As for secrets I am not sure what you are talking about....the only thing secret I know of is a secret design my mom has for the cruise that she does not want Jeanne to see until we get on the ship.
