Sandy: Just hoping I could help a little. It is easy to research when you know what you are reading and looking for. I hope the hospital releases the records.

4 days in a row for the treadmill!

Going to Cars tonight. The movie doesn't start until 9:40 PM, so I hope Kaleigh gets a good nap. She is so excited to go.

Ordered a bunch of craft supplies from Oriental Trading for Kaleigh. They were a lot cheaper than Michael's.

Ordered some shrubs yesterday too. They were having a clearance sale and if you bought 2, you get 3 free. It is all the same shrub, but for the price I will find a place to put all five. I also had a credit with them so I paid $33 for 5 shrubs.

Got buckets of rain again last night, hail too. We don't usually get much hail around here. Only supposed to be in the 70's today.

Tomorrow is the official first day of summer! :beach: :mickeybar :sunny:

Denine, you are doing awesome! Keep up the treadmill. I want to go explore oriental trading co as well. Jeanne got some cool flashing pirate skulls last year for Pirate night. I thought I would see what else they have to offer. I love all the strobe stuff they have these days. It is a hot day here but overcast. I heard that hail is in the forecast. Not sure if today but definitely Thursday.

Okay I changed my mind, not driving down to the campground on Thursday...need to protect my car.

Good Afternoon!

I am downstairs on the computer trying to escape the heat. I TIVO Flintstones and watch it when I get home. Was always one of my favorites.
Ethan suggles up on my lap and we watch it together. :happytv: It was pretty hot today so after I came down to the basement.

Been working on Tiffany's college stuff. Oh my gosh the payments are going to be $815 a month!! And that is after all her loans and scholarships. I have no idea how I am going to do that.

Denine-Any recipes you think is good. I would love to cook healthy instead of fast :rolleyes1

Sandy-I order from Oriental Trading all the time. Love it. got a lot of the Luau stuff there. Fun fun fun stuff. They also have scrap book stuff.
YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEE :bounce:

Have fun at the movie tonight Denine. It is pretty cute!

SANDY: Something really weird happened today. I got a call from the Disney Cruise line about the "High Tea" If I got the message correct I think she scheduled it for September 8th at 3:00 PM but I will have to try to look up the reservation again.

DENINE: You're the girl! :woohoo: Working it out on the treadmill!!!!!!!! ::yes::

I am really tired of working for my money$$$$$ It has been so busy at work. I do not have to go back to work until Friday night ::yes:: ::yes:: I am working Friday night and Saturday night.

Hope you all have a Whimsical Wednesday. Toodles  JEANNE

I woke up at 2:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. Well Rick is home again so all my company is gone. :wave2:

Today we went out to breakfast after Dick's tests at the hospital; I went to Hobby Lobby and got some more things to decorate with....I am changing from Country to Tuscan and Hobby Lobby has great things; then we went to Walmart and after I put the groceries away I spent the rest of the day decorating and cleaning.....living room is almost done. But the rest of the house is a disaster

Sure love the air conditioning.....I keep it on 76 so the house doesn't get cold but very comfortable when you come in from outside. Barb, I still have two floor fans you can have....we haven't hit our really hot days yet. :sunny

Guess I will go to bed and see if I can sleep the night through...it is l0:30 so if I can sleep until 6:30 that would be great.

Denine - Way to go on sticking with the treadmill. When I was doing the treadmill I was so unmotivated, so I decided to get motivated I needed to start attending kickboxing. It really helps me get the motivation.

Barb - How sweet, I can just picture you and Ethan snuggled up together watching the flintstone.

Jeanne - is that when you wanted High Tea?

Sally - I bet your house is beautiful, I love the Tuscan theme.

Good Morning! :sunny:

Thought I would post early today so I don't forget again. Been going to Curves before work this week. I only get to work out for 30 minutes (When I'm on time  ) But it's better then nothing.

I have got to get it together after work. Since I am not overcome with stuff to do I am not very productive once I get home. If I am not busy ALL the time I am lost.

Denine- Whats for dinner? How did Kaleigh do at "Cars"? Did you like it?

Barb: You have ni idea what you are asking about recipes! Do you know how many cook books I have, not to mention computer cookbooks and recipes I have typed from various sourcec into a recipe program on the computer? I have thousands of recipes, easily! You need to give me more to go on as far as likes and dislikes. Yesterday was citrus grilled salmon and lemon-spinach orzo. Both were very good. Today was supposed to be either grilled pork loin or grilled chicken parmesan, but it is supposed to rain and storm all day, so we are having cereal instead.

Barb: I used to love the Flintstones, especially Pebbles and Bam Bam when they were babies.

We loved the movie. It was so cute. it is one of those you need to watch several times in order to "catch" everything. Of course, Jerry is into NASCAR, so he knows those references. Kaleigh can't wait to see it again. We will definitely buy it when it comes out. We may go see it again. Not too many family movies available. Unfortunately, Kaleigh woke up before 7:30 this morning after going to bed at 12:30 this morning. Can you say early nap time?

I feel like I slept on my back all night and I can't sleep on my back. I can hardly walk or bend over. I hope it feels better by this evening so I can do my treadmill.

Heidi: Treadmill motivation; get a good mystery or thriller novel. Only read it on the treadmill. The only way you know what happens next is to do the treadmill. I am supposed to start a new book today. I just finished reading "Puppet" by Joy Fielding yesterday. Lots of plot twists.

Jeanne: I don't know how you work nights. I hated it when I did a long time ago. So, what happened 9 months ago that everyone is having those babies?

Barb: I would love to join Curves. I am hoping in the Fall. I need to wait until this weird muscle thing is done with. I go back to the doc the end of July and If it isn't better, I am going to ask for an injection. It worked on the other muscle.

Sally: So what of the Tuscan theme are you using to decorate your living room? My kitchen is all grapes, not wine and grapes, just grapes.

I believe that Julie comes home tomorrow.

I have a load of towels in the washer :laundy:. Need to go to the grocery store some time today. It is still hot :sunny: but the humidity is down today but going back up tomorrow. As soon as everyone leaves, I put the air conditioner up to 75 degrees. They like it at 72 and I freeze :santa:

I can't believe you crafty girls! You just change your house from country to tuscan? I only wish I was that talented. My house has been country since I had a house. I think part of the problem is that I can't afford to change it (I would have to give up some Disney Vacations :scared1: ). My kitchen/dining room set is at least 30 years old and is that Williamsburg blue. It used to be yellow but I painted it about 20 years ago.

Yes Heidi that is when I wanted the High Tea. You are more then welcome to join us if you can tear yourself away from Chris :lmao: :lmao: I looked on my reservations :surfweb: and the High Tea is listed now.

Hope you all have a Witty :joker: Wednesday. Stay cool! ;) Tooldes  JEANNE

Denine, in the living room I have a large coffee table I put in front of the window and have a med plant in the left corner, two tall vases ( one a little taller than the other) a plate on a rack so it stands up with leaves and grapes on the side and in front. On the other side of the plate I have a fake plant with leaves all over the top of the table and two candleholders among the leaves and grapes around the bottom of the candleholder stems.

This is my theme...grapes , greenery, tall vases, pitcher and urn that looks like they were dug up in some ruins, candleholders and stone and wire things. Oh and I found an ancient looking clock for on my shelf. So far I love everything I have found. Hobby Lobby is my best friend and everything was half price so I don't mind buying a $50 vase for $25

Just finished shampooing my carpet in the living room and I have two skylights that my son painted red to match my kitchen counters and he put up a lot of Tuscan things...I had to find some more things for two of the sides and did last night so up on the ladder I went this morning and finished the one he couldn't.

I know what you mean about a lot of recipes...I have several cd's and websites plus a small library of cookbooks. You would almost think I liked to cook...did in my younger days but am too busy to do much now. Not that I wasn't busy when I was young but it didn't take as much time to do things as it does now. :rotfl:

Denine-I love the recipe on the computer thing. Do you have a program for it? How do you pick what you are going to make? Do you have to print off the recipe everytime you want to make it?

Cars was Super cute. I would like to see it again too! Wonder if Ethan would sit through it.

Denine and Julie-Ok, I have a question. I am looking into pricing a cruise for next fall for my family and was wondering if my kids would still be free or would we have to pay. Last I heard 2 and under were free. Heidi thinks that there is a fee now. What do you guys know? Any info. would be great!!
Thanks!! :thanks: :beach:

Guess Stacey got an answer. Sounds like the babies would be 100.00.

My house is not themed. Just have stuff in it. Need $$ and time to theme it. I would love to do it however.

Bonnie called last night and she was at a park listening to Ryan's band play. I pray that they bumped into each other so they HAD to talk!!

My house is not themed either, I am just too lazy. Chris's ex-wife is an interior decorator and she told us that she would help us so one of these days I will take her up on it (after vacation so I can save some $$$)

Good Morning!!

Sandy-I remember you saying something about fish tacos. This morning on the way to work right by my house I noticed there is a new resturant opening up call "Wahoo's Fish Taco's" I also remember you talking about some place you got them. Is this the same place? I have decided once they open I am going to try them. Wish me luck! :fish:

Sandy-Are you going to go on the cruise with Stacey next fall? I am looking at a cruise next fall also if we don't go on the Med one. Any idea when she is looking at? Denine and Julie usually go on fall cruises too. Maybe we can have another reunion cruise!!!!

Yesterday I had to leave work early to go to my Missionette's graduation rehearsal. It is a pretty big deal for the girls. I did not get home until after 9:00 last night. BLAH... And guess what!! I volunteered to make all these decorations, help shop, decorate etc.... by this Saturday!! I did however make it clear I would NOT NOT NOT blow up balloons!! A girl must draw the line somewhere! I am very afraid of popping balloons. :scared1:

I admit it, I am a planner, decorater, organizer, crafter, scrap booker JUNKIE! I love it. Can't stay away!! Go looking for it..... Volunteer for it.... HAVE TO HAVE IT!

Barb: yes, I do print out the recipe when I want to make whatever. The beauty is if you get stuff on it, you just throw it away and print out a new one the next time. I just scroll through the recipes till I find something that stikes my fancy or I go in with and idea, maybe chicken on the grill, and look for grilled chicken recipes. You are a glutton for punishment.

Stacey: under 3 you only pay port charges. Once they are 3, you pay a discounted price.

We will probably NOT be cruising in 2007. I know Julie won't be either.

Had some nasty storms last night. Supposed to get more tonight.

My back is still hurting a lot. It was some better this morning, but I didn't sleep well, because my back hurt. Wish I knew what I did.

Sally: Sounds like your Tuscan theme is working out well. I have 2 themes: kitchen= grapes, office=Mickey. I have a long way to go with the office.

I think I am crazy, I just booked a Vegas trip to go a few weeks before I leave for our WDW and DCL trip. I could have really saved the $$$ to use for Disney, but I guess I am helping my best friend get through her divorce and her 30th birthday.

I am pretty sure I will not be booking a cruise in 2007......now maybe 2008!!!!

Nope, no cruise for us in 2007. We are hoping to go back up to Canada. Stacey, do you guys want to go, too? We will go back up to Waterton. I need a shopping buddy cuz Dad and Heidi will go hiking again.

Barb, I LOVE fish tacos, fish burritos. fish anything. I have never heard of your restaurant. Try it and let me know. Your house is so far off I25 that I probably would never find it though. I remember you telling me that we were close to you when we went to Kohls.

Barb - I heard WaHoo's was really good, but I have never tried it before.
