JULIE: You are so organized! Reading all you had to do - Is it REALLY a vacation for mothers? I DO remember those days! We will be waiting to hear :listen: from you in WDW.

I am up so early I have to wait for Sam's Club to open and to leave off my mother's prescriptions. It is a nice time to have my coffee and read the postings :surfweb: I have already read the newspaper, had coffee and cereal and Good Morning America is on the TV :happytv:

Since the back is now fenced in I don't even have to walk the doggies. How lazy can I get?

Hope you all have a Wacky Wednesday. Miss you all. :grouphug: Toodles  JEANNE

Bye Julie, Have fun on your trip. We will be thinking of you. Can't wait to hear from you.

Hi Jeanne! Well, this is the last day for my first grader!!! I can't believe that this school year is over! It seems like yesterday that I was posting that it was her first day of first grade! In a few months, I will have a kindergarter AND a second grader! Time does seem to fly by! See Stacey, you have all THIS to look forward too! ;) Oh yeah, did I tell you all that I'm FIRST VICE PRESIDENT for PTA next year? Boy do they sucker you in!

Well, I've got to go and get ready. We are walking with Makenzie's friends this morning so I have to look at least somewhat "normal" this morning (I know that's impossible for me to be normal, but as close as I can get!) :rotfl2: I'don't want to scare any children :scared1:

I'll try to get back on before we go, but I need to clean up the house a little before Makenzie's school party and the airport. If I don't, I will be back once we are in disney!

Good Morning!

HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME AT DISNEY JULIE AND DENINE!!!!! ::MickeyMo :goofy: pooh: :smickey: :tigger: I am soooooo wishing I were going to!

I am finally getting back into the routine of things balancing work and home.
I had gotten in a bad habit of going to be really late.

Sandy, Heidi & Stace- I'm so sorry you are going through this. I sure hope this nightmare ends soon for you. I feel so bad that you all are having to face that pain again.

I am off in a few minutes for a 3 hour CPR training. Going to a movie tonight with my family popcorn:: . I have so much time on my hands right now at home I am feeling totally lost.

Well I am officially CPR certified now. Training is over and I passed the test. :cool1: Hope I never need it.

Woohoo!!! First Vice President for PTA!!! I know, I know, they do sucker you in. At least I have a LITTLE while before that!!!

Heidi- like you have room to talk!!! You are in here when you should be working!!! So you are just as bad as me!!! Go back to work and I will go back to studying. :thumbsup2

Well, if Barb and I go out to lunch I know that I can feel safe. She can perform CPR if I need it.

Jeanne, that's right. You don't walk the dog anymore. I thought you enjoyed it. Ted and i are THINKING about doing a day pass at a hotel in Antigua. It includes, food, drinks (alcohol kinds too), beach, pool, snorkel equipment and other things. Sounds so peaceful. A half day pass is 45.00. Not bad BUT the cab is costing people quite a bit.

Bye Julie, have a terrific time. I changed my mind. Have more than ONE drink for me.

Denine, and then you can have another one or two for me. That should get me through all this nonsense.

Now, now, Stacey and Heidi. Let's play nice together. :lmao:

Julie, I do remember getting suckered into a HUGE event the very first year of elementary school for the girls. You learn real fast how to hide :teeth: the following years. Nah, I enjoyed everything I did especially in middle school where they needed a steering committee for the new middle school which the girls were to attend the following year. It was fun to pick out chairs, paint, school books, everything. I guess I left a legacy! Then, the girls were active for the new high school. I think they had just as much fun with that.

I was working, I am just perfecting my multi-tasking abilities. :teeth:

Barb - Don't you just hate CPR training, or am I the only one? Maybe it was because I had to take it every other year and the last time I had the training I got in trouble because of a few coworkers (including my best friend).

Tonight (actually tomorrow morning) it is time for my mom and I to book excursions and make reservations for our cruise....I hope we get everything.

I think we finally have everything planned out and ready for one this morning. Sure hope the internet is working FAST! Jeanne, I will email you what we are planning to do so far.

Going to be another scorcher today. It was 98 yesterday. We have surpassed several records so far this year. It is VERY dry and VERY hot for this time of year. I HATE HEAT.

Good Morning!!

YIKES Sandy 98!!! UGH it has not gotten that hot down here yet thank goodness. I am with you on hating the heat! On Jason & Michelle's wedding day we broke a record high. Wouldn't you know on the day of his OUTSIDE in the SUN wedding!

Went to see "Over the Hedge" last night. It was ok. Not much into the kid burping farting humor. Not one of my favorites but it was ok. Fun to spend time with my family.

I have to test for my continuing ED today. Didn't pass it last time sure hope I do this time. It is all on commercial insurance and man is it hard!

Ok Heidi...What did you do to get into trouble. Bet this is going to be a good one!!!

Barb, I didn't realize that it was an outside wedding. How nice. I thought for sure that you were keeping up with the temps with us. Pueblo sure has been hot!! Hey, when you and I were talking on the IM you mentioned water rationing. How is that going for you so far?

This is the first year in the past 4 years we do not have water restrictions. What they have decided to do instead is everyone got a 10% increase on the each gallon of water used. Then everyone that uses more then x (not sure of the amount) amount of gallons pays an additional 4% increase on all water usage!

Barb, you and I need to "talk" again. I had so much fun that day on the computer with you. We sure had a lot to say!!

Thinking of Julie and family and can feel the excitement at their house! :cool1:  :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Hi Sandy! We sure do! Now that I have more free time it is easier for me to do everything. As a matter of fact I am still a little lost with my new life style!

This is sooooo cool: :thumbsup2 :Pinkbounc  :cool1:

WALT DISNEY WORLD
Disney set for 'Year of Million Dreams'
The promotion will include sleepovers at Cinderella Castle for certain lucky visitors.

Would you like to spend a night at Cinderella's Castle, would you do it?
Absolutely
No way. I'm not a Cinderella fan.
Maybe. I'll go if Mickey is there too.

It's every little girl's dream come true: spending the night in Cinderella Castle.

Such sleepovers will be part of a "Year of a Million Dreams" national promotion that the Walt Disney Co. announced Wednesday night.

Every day for a year, beginning Oct. 1, a family will be picked to move into the "royal chambers" and spend the night at the Magic Kingdom castle.

The promotion, along with a worldwide advertising campaign called "Where Dreams Come True," is aimed at surprising visitors with previously unimagined experiences, Disney officials said.

"We'll be empowering our cast to basically deliver some once-in-a-lifetime experiences to some of our guests," said Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

Some people wandering the Disney property will be handed scrolls inviting them to gala balls. Riders on Pirates of the Caribbean might find pirates taking the seats beside them. Others will be handed "Golden Fastpass" tickets that allow them to get into much shorter Fastpass lines at rides all day.

One family even will be picked in the next year to have Magic Kingdom to themselves for a few hours.

The campaigns also will involve a handful of new attractions, including the previously announced "Finding Nemo: the Musical" show at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and a new "The Seas with Nemo and Friends" ride through Living Seas at Epcot. A couple of other rides, such as Space Mountain, are going to get changes.

But the chance to spend the night at Cinderella Castle is sure to get the most attention from little girls and their parents.

"If we came here to Cinderella's Castle, you would meet her," said 7-year-old Adalina Harris of McAllen, Texas, who was visiting the Magic Kingdom on Wednesday with her parents and brother.

Disney lore has it that about 10 stories up from the castle moat, an apartment was built when the castle was opened in 1971. Whether it was intended to be Walt Disney's apartment (he died in 1966) or his brother Roy's, the apartment was never finished and never lived in. Until now.

The winning visitors will be picked at random through a system being developed by consultants, a Disney spokesman said.

The visitors could be picked in the parks, in Disney hotels or even at Downtown Disney, where the general public can wander for free -- just as long as they're on Disney property.

This new campaign comes immediately after Disney's "Happiest Celebration on Earth" promotion for Disneyland's 50th anniversary, which was credited with boosting attendance at Disneyland and Disney World.

"Perhaps this campaign may yield good results as well," said Ady Milman, a business professor at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida.

This year, Disney opened a major attraction -- Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom -- but no major attractions were announced for the coming year.

Instead, Disney will focus on visitor experiences, such as the castle sleepovers.

But why stop with the castle, wondered Ron and Anita Dick of Wichita, Kan. They were visiting Wednesday with their teenage grandchildren, who they said loved Tower of Terror.

"They need to put an apartment there. If they did Tower of Terror, that would interest the teenagers," she said.

Barb - I can't tell you because then my mom would know!!!! Keep in mind we had to take this class after an 8 hour day of working with 2 year olds from 6:00-10:00pm. Okay what we did was draw upper body girl parts in the pamphlet that they gave us on all the people. Then when it was time to practice on the dummies, we got up on table and straddled the dummy to do the chest compressions.

Heidi- :rotfl: :rotfl2: WHY WAS I NOT IN THAT CLASS! I had a hard time staying awake in mine yesterday. I would not of even been tempted in that class!

Guess what.... Passed my Commercial Property Test!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
I needed a 70% to pass and got an 80%. Darn that over studying!
