Sure has been quiet here the last couple of days. Come on....you are my entertainment and sanity when the kids are here.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BARB AND BOB.  :woohoo: :bounce: :yay: :bounce:

Julie - hopefully you can make it to your vacation without sick kids!!! Sounds like craziness right now but I am sure in 6 days you will forget about it all!!! (can I sneak in your luggage???)

Denine - I love hot weather but I would hate it if it was humid!!!

Heidi, I feel horrible about the problem with the date of spreading the ashes and you babysitting.

I am so bad at getting on this board!!! Life is so hectic right now!!

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!! It was a great long weekend! We took the twins camping and they had a great time. We were down there for a total of 4 days and they did very well! I was proud of them. I will post pictures here soon of our trip.

My twins are going to be a year old in a week! Time sure has flown by! I don't know if I am ready to have one year olds yet!!! I remember the day they were born like it was yesterday.

Like my mom said, Tyler took his first couple steps. He was playing with his dad when he did it. I even got it on tape!!!

Joey won't be far behind now, she is watching her brother and laughing at all the commotion.

I've just been busy with the twins and I have decided to pursue my CMA while I am staying at home (Certified Management Accountant). It's like the CPA but more towards the private sector. I will never do public...I don't want to work all those hours when I go back.

That's it for now. Hope everyone is doing well!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO BARB AND BOB!!!!!!!

Well, Makenzie will be getting her tonsils out July 10th. She isn't HAPPY AT ALL! She starting crying ever since she heard the dr. say surgery. She is my very sensitive one. But she will hopefully feel better once they are out. I had mine out when I was 16yrs. And back then it was major surgery and I had to stay in the hospital over night etc. Now it is out patient surgery and she will be home in hours.

Denine, Makenzie worn her dress you got her for her birthday today and she looked adorable. 6 days, days, 6 days....

Heidi, sure you can go in our luggage. The more the merrier!!!

Stacey, don't the little ones grow soooooooooo fast! Brooke who is 2yrs has decided that the potty is pretty cool and has been going "tinkle" on it on and off for the past week now. My hopes is for her to be potty trained by Oct so I can maybe put her into the club with her brother and sister and not have to put her into the nursery on the ship. I can remember each child's birth like it was yesterday as well. Kids are special. Just think, you too can look forward to strep, tonsils removed, etc.... :teeth:

Sandy, you can tease me, that's ok!

Well, gotta go. I'll be back!!!

TFN

Julie, I love your warning for Stacey.....Just think, you too can look forward to strep, tonsils removed, etc....
You are too funny!! You know what???? We need to talk on the phone again. It has been way too long.

Mom - don't feel bad about the day and scattering ashes and me babysitting. With how the last few days were going for you and I, it seemed like it was the icing on the cake for me and I was frustrated. Now I have a clear head, fresh start and it is very simple, I will drive down to the campground myself, and then drive back up after we are done scattering Lou's ashes to help babysit the twins.

Stace - I forgot to tell you that Joey and Tyler's gift that I bought is in. It was delivered to mom's yesterday and she brought it to me. Now I just need to find enough wrapping paper to cover it!!!

I can't believe the twins will be 1 next week!

Hey Sandy: Don't worry, I am sure Julie or I will call you from WDW! Hey, I found a new smilie for you ::popcorn:

Julie: Poor Makenzie. I hope it helps her feel beter though. Glad she looked cute in the dress.

Work is done for the day and Jerry went to his meeting. Just waiting tiil we leave for the doctor.

Happy anniversary Barb & Bob!

I've gotta go do some :laundy:

Next Wednesday we :drive: to Detroit so we can go to WDW and :beach: , Then in October we are going to :sail:

Oh no! The popcorn smilie doesn't come up!
::popcorn:

Julie- I can't imagine going through potty training yet! Your hands must be full! At least it sounds like she is excited going though!! Yeah!! :cool1:

Heidi- just go to Babies R Us...they have free wrapping paper. Ok, just kidding. Don't worry about wrapping it. Like you said, that is a lot of paper to have to go through. I don't think they are really going to "open" their own presents yet.

Nope, don't hear you. Joey helped me open my birthday present so they will unwrap their birthday presents too.

Hey Stace - I am taking Cristina cosmic bowling tonight if you want to join..probably not since it is not until 10:30 but I have a coupon for 2 hours, 6 people, free shoes, and a pitcher of coke for $25.00.

::popcorn: Denine, you are too funny with the popcorn smiley. I found it. Let's see if I can get it to work. Ok, so I expect to hear from you guys at WDW!! I love the laundry smiley. I have to go do that too.

Heidi, try wrapping our presents. Man, I need it by the miles. And it can only be DISNEY!! Wow, Heidi, that is a great deal on bowling!

Stacey, how was lunch with Traci?

:happytv: Oh this one is a cute one. Maybe I can do that tonight.

Tomorrow we have a wedding to go to. It starts at 1 or 2 and goes on into the night.

Hello everyone,

Today started off just great. By 4:30pm it crashed. My "stepdad" called me because he got a letter from the hospital that did my mom's eye surgery on a Tues and she died on Friday. They said in the letter (addressed to HER) that she received a contaminated dosage of an antibiotic the day of her surgery. Man, my world came crashing down all over again. I wonder if that is what killed her?????? I need a bushwacker right about now. Anything! I am sitting here all alone. Ted took out his friend to dinner tonight for his birthday. I tried calling my brother, nope not home. Tried calling Bonnie thinking she might know something. Nope, not home. Sheez, so I just ATE and ATE some more. I have to call Heidi and Stacey but am avoiding it. They won't take it very well.

WOW Sandy! I'm soooo sorry to hear your news. I don't know what to say. I would definitely look into this! I can't believe that they waited THIS LONG to send the letter out and on top of it address it to her. I'm always available if you need to talk! Call me at home or on my cell. HUGS to you!!! :grouphug:

Nasty storms last night and it still not looking too good out there today.

SANDY: So sorry to read your posting. I don't know what that means. How can an antibiotic become contaminated? Maybe the manufacturer of the drug found something. Bonnie know more than me about this.

I just have to post the Disney Dudettes dancing :dance3: I worked Thursday and Friday and volunteered (not without overtime pay$$$$$) to work tonight 7P-7A if needed but I had to catch-up at least a little on the boards. Joyce is working today. I never get to see her anymore :guilty: I think I work just to get away from my home life. I can't wait for VACATION!

Hope you all have a Super Saturday and a Whimsical Weekend. Toodles :wave2: JEANNE

Sandy: Sorry to hear this about your mom, but, it didn't kill her. I would like to know what the ATB was contaminated with though. At most, it could have affected her eyesight in some way. You could have tried to call me too.

Heidi: That is a great deal on bowling.

Went to the memorial service yesterday for my friend's grandma. It was very nice and I did very well until they played Taps and the Color Guard presented the flag to Kim's mom and Aunt. Her grandma lived next door to me growing up and was almost like a grandma to me too. She was an army nurse and served in Europe in WWII and then was a nurse for 30 years at a local hospital. Now, Kim and I are both nurses.

Also, went to the doctor again about that muscle. He said that since the lidocaine patches appear to be helping, to keep up with those for the next 2 months and come back. I can get an earlier appointment if I need it.

I can't believe we are leaving for WDW on THursday and I have to start packing again. It is a good problem to have.

Kaleigh's room is all taped and ready to be painted tomorrow.

Enjoy your weekend!

Good Morning :sunny: Oops! I mean Good Afternoon. I worked last night & slept until around noon when my cousin came over so I am really screwed up  Work was really good last night until 6:00 AM when one of my patients couldn't breath & had a pulse in the 140's. Everything was okay but it meant stat EKG's, bloodwork, IV, etc.

DENINE: Are you getting excited? :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Trying to get together with the two other Disney Dudettes :dance3: but Bonnie's dance card is always FILLED! :lmao: Hope you all have a Stupendous Sunday. Toodles :wave2: JEANNE

Jeanne: WHy does stuff like that always happen at that time of the morning?

Kaleigh's room is now VERY pink. It is cute though and she is happy to have her room painted finally. The bad part is that she had a fever today. It was 102.2 and I just took it again and it was 99.8. Don't know what is cooking. Yesterday, she complained that it hurt to pee and it seemed like she had a bladder spasm, but it hasn't hurt since. Will keep an eye on her.

Well, got an eyefull this evening  We had gone to McD to get something to eat after painting and then to BJ's. Well, the sun came out and warmed up to about 72 degrees. So, I came home and went to open the patio door and saw two very naked 3 year old boys! They were out with their parents getting ready to go into their kiddie pool. I am "used" to seeing them in their diapers or underwear, but this was shocking. We wouldn't let Kaleigh look out the window or go in the backyard when we went outside. Not ready for that discussion yet. How hard could it have been to put shorts on them or swim trunks? Wasn't it a bit cold to be naked ouside going into a cold pool?

Julie: What are our plans for the 8th? We should be in WDW by noon. Jerry was able to switch our 1st night to a studio, so now we don't have to switch rooms.
