Oh my goodness, Krista posted. It even gave me the goosebumps.

Let's see a recap, the Dudettes, Denine and Ted and I went through the Panama Canal on the Disney Magic in Aug of 05. It was a 14 day cruise. Denine, Julie and Barb have been to WDW numerous times. Barb and her family have cruised once or twice since we all met. Sally is busy going all directions. Susan is missing. She has been ill and we haven't heard from her for a few months. Lori got a divorce. Bonnie and I are grandmas. Jeanne will be one in Sept. Did you know that Julie now has 3 kids? A couple of us have been through deaths of parents. Jeanne, Joyce, Barb and myself have had children get married. Can anyone think of something else? Oh, my kids post here as well. PoohFriend is my daughter, Heidi. DisFan is my daughter, Stacey, the mother of the twins I told you about. Oh and one of my favorites.....I lost 53 pounds!!!!!!!!

I will keep my fingers crossed for your move. But gosh, then all of us can't make those Arkansas jokes anymore. (that's you included!!!)

Great seeing you around Krista. Hope to see more of you!

Well I can top you all.....l5 grandchildren and ll great grandchildren.... :rotfl:

I have the boy and girlfriend that kind of nurdie.....

Hi Krista, I haven't met you but have heard a lot about you and your family. My mom pretty much recapped the last year but she forgot to add that the Dudettes, my mom and I will be cruising on the 10-day Wonder in September and Julie and Denine will be cruising in I think October???? We are trying to get Barb to do either one!!!!! Barb's grandson is a little older than my mom's grandkids but they are really close in age. Now that you are moving close to Disneyland you may have a few visitors!!!!!! There has been quite a few close family/friend deaths within the last year and this year for everyone. Currently - Julie's dad hasn't been doing well and he is getting his leg amputated and may have to get the other one amputated also, there has been some scary moments for her but she is hanging in strong. Welcome back.

Finally Survivor is back on tonight!!!! I have the hippies from San Francisco team. At first they were so weird that I didn't want them as my team. Now I love them, they are still weird but so much fun. They are having a blast.

Mom - where is the quote email that you were going to send me? Did you send it and I missed it? I hope not.

Oh my goodness Barb, I thought about you as a grandma but didn't type your name. Definitely my brain was working but not my fingers.

I am looking forward to Survivor tonight. Someone gets injured or sick if I remember right.

Yeah! Krista posted! Please try to stay around. We miss everyone that hasn't been posting.

Supposed to nice today. I plan on opening my windows to air out the bedrooms and ho use. Maybe I can get rid of some of the sick germs. Someone has been sick all winter.

I did get some stuff done in my flower beds yesterday and Jerry got the fertilizer down in the back. We have organic fertilizer for the front. But, we have to use up what we have of the old stuff. I found out that I desperately need new pruners. My old ones are very dull.

Kaleigh is excited about going to work with me for my meeting. I wish I could say the same.

I work tomorrow and Monday.

I really want to get that powder room painted this weekend.

I can't think of anything else.

Good Morning!

Today is my Friday!!!! I am pretty happy about that. I was up until after 11 again last night working on wedding stuff. I did get the card basket done and another center piece. I have 166 topiary bows done and hope to get the other 100 done today. BLAH!

It is rainy here today. I sure need to get out in my yard and start preparing for planting. At least as long as it is cold I don't feel any guilt for not getting stuff done. I need to start painting soon. BLAH! I don't like to paint but really want to get it done before Bob's Mom comes to visit.

You're almost there Barb!

So when is it safe to plant in CO? We can't plant around here until Memorial Day. Except for trees and shrubs and a few perenials.

It is up to 56 and my house is airing out. It is a bit chilly, but at least it is fresh air.

I also ordered a new pair of pruners and contacted a nursery about a tree that died.

Will plant pansies now......and rose bushes. I usually start planting around the end of April and may. I have a lot of different things coming up like bleeding heart, poppies, bulbs of all kinds. My weeping cherry is in bud....

You can buy several different plants at Walmart now...I put a lot of plants in my greenhouse because if you wait to get plants in May the best are gone. I buy from Home Depot, Walmart, Lowe's and the nursery.

We didn't get the rain Barb got at work and it is 47 and climbing...

Mom-Did you remember I have to plant 10 pots of flowers for the wedding. I would like them to be as big as possible in June. I see you mentioned that there are some plants out. Should I get them now and put them in your green house? Would you love and care for 10 pots of flowers for the wedding?

:cool1: I got my first pair of socks today. It was so much fun getting them in the mail! Jeanne, how many have you received?

I could probably plant roses now if I protect them from the inevitable frost. The leaves always get killed. Right now though, I don't know where I want to plant a rose garden. First things first with a brand new yard. So many possibilities. I can't wait to get my new trees and plant those.

It is gorgeous out right now. It is 67 and sunny. I can handle this! :sunny:

Had my meeting at work. Kaleigh was good. She played with another child that was there.

Kaleigh and Jerry are outside and Kaleigh made it clear I am not to interrupt daddy time. No worries! I may go out and put some fertilizer on the perennials I do have coming up and the shrubs that are in bud.

I am trying an all organic gardening approach this year. We will see what happens. I just got some fertilizer in the mail.

Supposed to be warm again tomorrow but with strong storms and damaging winds in the afternoon, then back to the 50's on Saturday which is still better than 30's & 40's!

I hope to get the rest of my Easter decorations up while they are outside. Just a couple of small Easter houses.

Good Morning!

Stacey-I watch Ethan almost every day and what a hand full. I can not get ANYTHING done while I am watching him. If he is not getting into stuff he is wanting me to hold and play with him. I have such a admiration for you taking care of twins! Mothers are amazing but Mothers of twins are AWESOME!

You know, it is kinda funny. My daughter can entertain herself great. My son, Tyler, has to be entertained constantly. It's like he can't do anything without someone. I think it is a guy thing!!

One more thing...thanks for the kuddos! Having twins I really don't know the difference from only having one. I wouldn't trade it for the world!! :cool1:

Hi all, heading off to the other house in an hour or so. Have a good weekend.

Stacey, I agree, I wouldn't trade my twins in for a single child for anything. It was fun watching two babies going in circles! Oh, and mom and dad, too! lol

The Three Disney Dudettes were reunited last night for a little reunion. I picked up Bonnie and we met Joyce at Filomena's (Italian Rest. & Bar). We had such a good time. We drank, talked, laughed (of course) & ate a pizza! We decided we need to do this at least once a month if not more often.

I was in and out all day. 8:00 AM Mammogram followed by Thyroid US, put the down payment on the fence, shopping, brought lunch home for mom, food store, more shopping along with taking the dogs to the park twice in between. It has been a really crazy day. I was supposed to go to a different Mexican Rest. tonight but I am TOO tired.

Just can't catch-up on all the postings. Someone will have to give me a condensed version. I don't want to brag but it is really beautiful here - in the 70's :sunny: Hope you all have a sunny :sunny: productive weekend. Toodles  JEANNE

Hi guys. I finally got some time to sit and relax and post.

First off, CONGRATS to Jeanne!!! You'll be a super grandma! Just remember, your grandchild will have have lots of aunties! Right Sandy and Barb!

Welcome back Krista! glad to see you posted! How's our little Clare? I bet she is excited to move! Stop in a few more times!

Thank you all for all the pixie dust and prayers for my dad. Today he was moved to another floor. It is the "recovery" floor whatever that means. His other foot DOES have an infection in it and so does the bone. He had a MRI on the foot yesterday but we don't know the results yet. IF the infection hasn't gone too far into the bone, they will do a "de-breeding" surgery to try and remove the infection in the tissue. IF this works, they will keep him on an antibiotic IV's for 6 weeks and will try this "wound vac" that they were doing to the other foot (that he lost) before the infection entered his blood system. THe infection IS still in the blood, BUT it has weaken some. He will be fitted for a "new foot" but that won't be for at least 6 weeks. They do not want him walking in the amp for at least 4 weeks. BUT the problem arises with he can't walk on the amp leg, and with this wound vac thing on the other foot, he really can't walk on that. If all this fails, that foot will come off too. His upper body strength is almost non exsisted, so they are trying to build that so that he can at least help move himself from a wheelchair to the bed. We got him a liftchair so IF he can come home, he will have a nice comfortable chair to sit in and help him stand to get into a wheelchair. IF his upper body can't help do this... he will be sent to a nursing home until he can get better. AND that opens up another can of worms since he said he would die before going to a nursing home. Not to mention that my mom needs to track down a lawyer to get things moved into a trust fund and have TAD (transfer after death) put on all their legal docs so that if he goes into a nursing home, they can't take all the money away (or something to that nature). Oh yeah, did I mention that his is majorly depressed? Also, his fingers in both hands of his are numb and they believe that it is a circulation problem, but they can't really work on that problem until this foot and infection problem is taking care of. All of this, AND there was a HUGE incident the morning that my dad was taken to the hospital with one of the paramedics that my mother AND Garry are now a part of and will have to testify at a grievance hearing.(I'll explain the whole story on another post since I'm sure you guys are tired of reading this negative one). Anyways, that is basically what is going on around here right now. With the kids in school, The Big Guy registered for kindergarten, Brownies, sick kids, Garry being called out at midnight this past week with a guy who wanted to kill himself, trying to plan a disney trip for a family at the police station, and trying to exercise to get some of my weigh off...... I KNOW I'm forgetting something.

Anyways, thanks again for everything!

Barb, I sure hope you take pictures of everything you are making. I'd really like to see your work.

OK, the Chirstmas/News Years/Valentines day/ St. Patrick's Day/ WHATEVER "gift exchange"....now has everyone opened thier gift? I know Heidi had Patty so if Patty doesn't post, Heidi will have to tell us what you got her. Same goes with you Denine. You had Susan. Susan had Barb and I know you didn't get anything from her, but I believe that Sandy sent you a "special" gift to make up for the Christmas thing. What did you get again Barb?

Amazing Race, I have the black couple. I really do like them too. They seem to be playing a fair game. DOn't like Lake and Michelle or the Frat Boys either. THe hippies sorta grow on you too.

American Idol, anyone watching that? I like Taylor and Kathrine. DOn't like Paris (she reminds me of Gary Coleman in drag) or Bucky or phony Kelly Pickler. I also like the guy who has 90% hearing loss in one ear and Mandisa isn't bad either but she tends to yell her songs. I did like Chris, but ALL of his songs sound the same anymore.

Surivior, no one really floats my boat. I like Bruce and Terry, but the rest of them seem to be a weird bunch.

OK, that's enough from me for now. I will post again when I get some free time and when I'm not totally exhausted. Sorry if I missed anyone and any special news.

TTFN

Bless your heart Julie.....I feel so sorry for what you, your dad, mom and the rest of the family are going through. It really hurts when someone you love is going through such a rough time....and there isn't anything you can do to help. Just remember you are under a lot of stress and take some time for yourself just to do nothing. I know that is hard when you have a family, but you can lock yourself in the bathroom and take a bubble bath and try to relax.

I just got home from the all night crop...as you can see we didn't stay all night...it is 2. Going to bed and hope to sleep at least till 8....

Julie: Glad to see you had time to post. I know everything is so difficult for your dad. I hope the thing they tried with the other foot works better on this one! Too much of what you said is so familiar!

I got my pillow and lamp from Disneyshopping.com today. Love them!

We are in the process of painting the powder. We are putting on this dark gray primer. It has to dry 4 hours before we can paint.

Worked yesterday and took the taxes to my parents in the evening.

I am shopping for a new stroller for Kaleigh. THe one she has is falling apart and we need one for the parks. I think I know what I want, but I am going to try to get it on e-bay. We went to Babies r Us and they are so expensive. The cheaper ones were all too small for Kaleigh. She looked so cramped in them.

Kaleigh's eyes are better, no more eye drops! She still has a runny nose, but that is somewhat improved.

Jeanne: You were busy! Glad you all had fun! Hope your tests all come back normal. So, was the fence what they quoted you? That nice price?

Stacey: I can't imagine twins, but when that is all you know then I guess is isn't much different. I know Kaleigh is a handful all by herself! I give you credit.

Never did get that nasty thunderstorm, not complaining. We did get some wind and rain. Cloudy today.

Glad Julie posted but sorry for what her family is going through. Julie I watch American Idol. I don't like Paris either (you described her perfectly). I like the bald headed guy.

DENINE: The fence is $2095.00 but it is covering for area. I knew the first quote was wrong. It is 40 feet on the sides & 28 feet across the back. I think the dogs will hate it because they won't be able to see anything but I am sure the squirrels will still torture them!

SANDY: Three pairs of socks. That's all. I keep looking in the mail every day for more sockies.

Getting very excited about Las Vegas next Sunday :hourglass . I FINALLY found a bathing suit just in case it is really warm. I now know it is definately time to lose weight. Bonnie looks so good wait until you see her.

Worked in the garden all day today. Planted a "shade garden" out front since our side of the court gets no sun :sunny: Hope you all have a blessed Sunday :grouphug: Miss you all. Toodles  JEANNE

Jeanne: I guess I didn't remember that you were going to Vegas next weekend. I can't wait till our vacation. I just want to have fun! I thought you were doing nutri-system or something. It still isn't a bad price for the fence.

The bathroom is almost done being painted. It looks really nice. The color is called Cranberry Splash. It is a dark color, but just right for the space. We will put all the "stuff" back in tomorrow.

We are doing nothing tomorrow!
