Thanks Jeanne.

The funeral arrangements are mostly made. The visiting hours will be twice tomorrow and the funeral Wednesday morning.

We have to go this morning to pick flowers and then to the cemetery to choose a plot.

Julie is the best! She is going to watch Kaleigh for us today and for the afternoon calling hours tomorrow. Kaleigh has been very good, even for the 2 hours spent at the funeral home yesterday, but she does have her limits and I need her to be good for the evening calling hours and the funeral. I don't know who would watch Kaleigh if Julie couldn't do it.

Jerry and Denine - I am so sorry for your loss. :grouphug: If there is anything I can do for you please let me know.

Julie - thanks for sending out the cookies, I guess I should have ordered another box because my Samoas are already gone!!!! I keep telling myself, no they are not healthy so you don't need another box. I will send you a check today (oopss tomorrow because I forgot the stamp at home!!) That is so nice that you are able to watch Kaleigh.

Barb - you made me really want to go see Beauty and the Beast now. How did tanning go? I have never "faked and baked", do you get all hot and sticky? How did the movie go? I loved Narnia.

Jeanne - the Key West shrimp is soooo good there. I had it in DC.

Sally - glad you liked the plant.

This weekend was pretty good. I had a lot of fun pretending that I was a beginner skier. Never in my life have I ever been smacked by the chair until this weekend. I looked over my shoulder to look for the chair and to my suprise the bar smacked me on the side of the head. So much for trying to hide from my sister that I went skiing. I still have a red mark that is forming into a bruise. Luckily I didn't black out or get a bad headache and my sister still did not find out. The reason why I wasn't telling her was because she said I couldn't watch the twins if I went skiing because I would be too tired. I showed her and stayed at her house until midnight that night, when they got home at 9:00!!!!

The twins have reached the stage of stranger anxiety. First hand experience not very fun!!! I took my cousin with me and she hadn't seen the babies since Christmas....bad mistake!!! They were fine until they fell asleep on my lap...when they woke up that was a disaster!!! Tyler woke up to my cousin and freaked out. I would get him calmed down and stop crying and my cousin would walk by him to play with him and he would scream again. My cousin didn't understand and I didn't want to hurt her feelings so I just said he was crabby. Joey did fine and would only cry when Tyler would get really upset. I actually had to call my sister home because Tyler would not stop crying or drink his bottle at the end. Thank god they were checking out at Walmart.

I am in denial that the Broncos lost. I am so upset, they didn't even begin to show up until the last half and barely then. Plummer, some good plays and some very bad plays. What was up with them, they handed the Steelers the chance to play at the SuperBowl. I also watched Seattle vs North Carolina game.

Gooooood Morning!!!

"Hakuna Matata! It means 'no worries,' for the rest of your days"

Another Monday. But I am up and at work which means only 3 more days to get up early before I get 3 off! :teeth:

I LOVE these new Smiley's :tink: They are so cute. I finally got to see all of them this morning. Wonder why my computer won't let me open them up :confused3

Heidi-Tanning went good. It is kind of fun. You can get hot depending on how long you stay in the beds. I am not one to like hot but the place we go has huge fans that you turn on and aim toward the bed.

Have another field trip planned for my Missionettes. We are going to make Valentines then take and hand them out at a retirement home and sing some songs.

Heidi-Hope you head is better. Ouch!

Ethan does not have stranger anxiety. He smiles and will go to anyone. Wonder why some babies have it and some don't. I know 3 of my kids loved strangers, when Tiffany was a baby she would not let anyone hold her. I always got pretty embarrassed when someone would reach for her and she would scream. Always wondered what I did different with her. Now she is very out going and friendly. :confused3

Heidi, I know how you feel......I expected the Broncos to play like they have been....I guess the Steelers are a team of destiny.....and everyone wanted them to win last week....better the Broncos play the other team. I always hate it when the Broncos receive first....rather see them receive in the second half. Oh, well, maybe next year!

I was dizzy all day yesterday...had trouble walking. Don't think my ear has gotten any better.

Barb and family came over to watch the game and brought pizza and salad...at least the food was good. :cheer2:

Mom- Here are a few of the new smilies :furious: :lmao: :clown:

and these. :goofy: :hmghost: :sulley: :stitch: :tink: :smickey: :ccat: :tigger: pooh: :dumbo: They are so dang cute!

We went to see "The Last Holiday" Saturday night. It is really cute. The girls and I loved it. Pretty predictable but very very cute!

Heard from Patty about the Secret Santa. She did forget all about it until she received Heidi's gift. She is very very sorry and will take care of it. Julie can you send her a reminder email about who she has and maybe the address. Since She is so busy and has a lot on her mind she rarely lurks on our board, so she did not even think about it. I should have reminded her too because I know how busy she is. This year will be different. I will send reminders to her and be better myself. Again we both apologize. Thanks for not losing faith in us.

:surfweb: :stir: :hippie: :santa: pixiedust: :thanks: :car: :welcome: :rainbow: :sulley: :dumbo:
I LOVE all these new smilies!!!!

Thank you for letting me know that Patty did receive the gift. I was afraid I totally wasted my money!!!!

:grouphug: Denine and Jerry. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. My heart and prayers go out to you in this time of sadness!

Julie, you are such a love to take care of Kaleigh. I know with your busy schedule that it is hard. I am sure they really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Barb, I cringe every time the phone rings myself. I get so tired of people upset with me that they can't get a hold of me. Everyone knows of how busy we are but they still think that we should be there whenever THEY want us. I don't think anyone truly understands HOW busy we are.

Heidi, how sad about Joey and Tyler and the stranger thing. I would die if they would cry because I was holding them. I would probably break down. So Stacey still doesn't know about you skiing? :rotfl2: Oh, and I need Stacey to decide WHAT Sunday would be best for them for a sitter and we will take all to Beauty and the Beast. I can't wait!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

As far as the Broncos, we didn't watch. We kept on working. Guess that it is good that we didn't give up the time!

Jeanne, sounds like you are keeping yourself busy as well. How is your Mom?

Sally, glad you enjoyed the plant.

Hugs to all.

BARB: I still can not open the other page of smilies :surfweb:. :badpc: I love the new Disney smilies.

JULIE: You are such a good soul for watching Kaleigh. :thumbsup2

Trying to use some of the new smilies I CAN see! :hippie: :woohoo:

I was mandatory flexed this morning & it's raining out so it is forcing me to clean my bedroom & throw out lots of junk :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hope you all are having a good day. Denine & Jerry you are in my thoughts.

Back to work :furious: Toodles :yay: :wave2: JEANNE

Jeanne-That is so strange that they will not open. Must be some kind of level of security on the computers. I can't open them at home but can at work which is suprising to me because there is a HUGE security screen on our work computers.

I am so disappointed. I spoke to the retirement home and the Doctor has put a restriction on "Group Visits" because of the concern of spreading the flu virus. Not sure what to do now, permission slips are out. I can understand and would not want anyone to come down with the flu because of my girls but still disappointed.

Hi guys! Just popping in to say hi! Kaleigh is doing fine with Brooke and Garry today. Kaleigh got to do our morning activities with us. She got here at about 8:15am. She has had a busy morning. We took Makenzie and Garry to school. Then she and Brooke and I went to 3 different stores for "uncle Garry" for his office and for some stuff for home too. Then we went to Uncle Garry's work to drop off the stuff, then back to Garry's school to pick him up from school and then finally back to the house to play. They have all been really good today. Right now the girls are playing with Brooke's shopping cart and play food together. Garry is in Makenzie's room playing on her computer. It was funny that when we went to pick up Garry and someone asked me Kaleigh's age I didn't realize until then that I had a 2, 3 and 4 yr old with me today. Kaleigh really wanted to stay at preschool today.

Garry's office is really coming together. We painted his office on Friday night and then touched up the paint Sat. after Brooke's party and then hung the pictures and degrees on the walls on Sunday. When it is all together, I will take pictures of it.

Well, gonna go. Expecting Makenzie at anytime now from school. She will be happy that Kaleigh is still here. She really enjoyed having her this morning before school.

I'll be back later!!

TTFN

Thanks for the condolences everyone.

Julie: Just so you know, Kaleigh was almost crying because she doesn't want us to pick her up tomorrow afternoon. She wants to stay and go to bed there. Thanks again!

It was a long and busy day, but made a bit easier not having to tote Kaleigh with us. The next 2 days are the awful ones.

Hang in there Denine. :eeyore:

Today I woke up with a headache, but atleast it is not a migraine...it's just more annoying than anything. I have a day full of meetings, fun fun.

Please keep Jerry and his family in your prayers today. I know Jerry is having a very hard time with seeing his dad in the casket today. I keep telling him that his dad is no longer in pain.
Jerry's dad was only 69, so this is very hard for them.

Good Morning!!

"What do you do when things go wrong? Oh! You sing a song!"
- Snow White ºOº

Denine-Hang in there. Wish I was there to help too. Julie is a terrific friend!

Only 2 more work days this week to get up early and get dressed!

I am ready for a trip to Castle Rock outlet mall to hang out and shop! Guess I will have to plan one soon.

Ethan has 4 teeth now. We are now moving into the "NO NO BITE" stage.
He is such a doll. I have rocked him to sleep the past 3 nights. What a blessing it is to be a "Nana" :lovestruc  :love2:

I sure will Denine....I know how hard it is to see someone in a casket....I went through that with mom but strangely enough it also brought peace to me except afterwards that is the way I remember her....

Jerry and his family are all in my prayers. I did not want to see my grandma or grandpa in the casket so I chose not to go up and look. I did not want to remember them laying in the casket and I do not regret my decision.

Does anyone know why Bonnie has disapeared?

I remember my neice in the casket. The memory does not haunt me. She looked so different I hardly recognized her. Carrie had the most beautiful smile and she was so pretty she just looked so different. The thing that sticks with me is my sister saying she did not want them to close it because she would not get to see her again. That broke my heart.
