Heidi, you are just like a child. lol Can't wait to open gifts!! How cute. But I have to admit that I am excited about the Funkey Monkey one sitting here in the computer room. At least we know that we open that one this Sunday.

Julie, thinking of you and hoping you are getting along ok. Let us know when you can or call Denine.

Ted and I went out to McD's for breakfast. OMG, is it ever cold.

I forgot to thank Heidi for coming over last night and putting up the tree. We had a blast. I would never had done it if you didn't insist. LYMI Now will you make the peanut brittle too?

I think I am almost ready to do it....but first I have to cut out the dress,pay some bills and finish cleaning off my scrapbook table....that should take a couple hours

It is only l5 out today..... but it is only 7:20 so it may warm up a little

mom vent: I am tired of being mommy this week. Kaleigh has been clingy again today. I can't leave the room without hearing mommy. Then, whenever I sit down to eat something, she wants to share. She asks for specific food, I give it to her, and she won't eat it. When do I get to eat my food by myself? I am tired and cold and frustrated. There it goes again! I am trying to do stuff in between calls, but that isn't easy.
To top it off, she has been complaining on and off for a week about her teeth hurting. This morning, she had a piece of soft fruit and started crying because her tooth hurt. It doesn't hurt all the time and I can't find anything in her mouth. SO, she is going to the dentist at 4 PM.
Plus, the princess can't seem to pee in her potty without peeing all over the floor too. I am tired of cleaning up pee. Then she has to have specific colors of gummy bears and M&M's when she is done, 2 of each. There is goes again!

I'm back. Kaleigh is down for her nap early.

Sandy: Glad you got your tree up. I am slowly getting up decorations. I can only do it in the evening.

Printer is still screwy. It is in the black ink, but don't know if it is the jet or what.

I did start my Christmas cards today in between mommy calls.

Waiting for the water to boil for tea.

Hope Julie is doing OK today.

I guess I need to get my secret santa ready to go. I can open on the 10th for a Saturday. The rest of the weekend days would have to be a Friday or Sunday for me.

You are right Heidi! My me time is when I go to work, but then I get home around 10:30 AM, so it isn't much of a break. Plus, I have to get up at 4:50 AM to get that break.

Friday nights are great for me cuz we typically don't run up to the hospice. I bet we could work around a Saturday night as well.

Just had oatmeal for lunch. I was so hungry and nothing was satisfying me. Thought that would fill me and it would last. Gosh, I just thought about it. Breakfast food for breakfast, breakfast food for lunch and guess what.....pancakes for dinner.

Sally, sounds like your day is pretty planned out. I like decorating at night so that we can enjoy the lights right away.

Heidi, we need to have spiced caramel apple cider. Mmmmmm. For snack tonight I bought some cheese and have the sausage left. I even have crackers!

Good morning....It is going to be warmer today I think....it is 32 degrees and it is only 4:30 am.

We leave 2 weeks from today and I am starting to panic.....I have so much to do before then.....I did get the dress cut out yesterday but have to put it together now.

Denine, I hope your day goes better......it doesn't help now but someday you are going to look back and wish she was little again. It only seems yesterday my kids were little and now I have great grandchildren that are little.

Well, I am off to do something, anything......just need to get started. :thewave:

DENINE: I could make you feel better - how would you like to be cleaning up big peoples pee & poop. Just think how lucky you are to just have little pee-pees! My daughter had to go to the Pediatric Dentist at age two because she was going into daycare. She loved her Dentist & he still asks how "his Summer" is doing.

SANDY: I think you sent that cold weather this way It is really cold this morning & supposed to get colder. Snow maybe Sunday night or Monday.

FINALLY got the Christmas trees up but my mother doesn't like the Mickey & Minnie in the front room (her room now). She says it is too bright so now I don't know where to put them since they can't be outside The house is starting to come together.

Joyce & I went out for a little Los Amigos last night after she was done work. I am working this weekend.

Jeanne: Did you forget where I work???? I usually don't have to clean them, but I do get to disimpact them every now and again. That is a nice treat! I am sure you will find a place for you M&M tree. I could use a margarita.

dentist: Luckily it was not a cavity. Kaleigh had a bunch of plaque built up under the gum line. This caused it to be inflamed and ouchy. He cleaned it out and gave us a script for lidocaine/benadryl soln to be applied 3-4 times a day. Kaleigh was really good. She was little unsure, but cooperated and didn't cry. She got to pick a toy out of the "prize" drawer. This took a while, just so she could pick a yucky green lizzard. She loves it! Today she told Jerry she needed to go back to the dentist cause her tooth hurt. She really wanted another toy.

After the dentist, we went to Friday's for dinner. Then we went to get the script and then to BJ's to get Kaleigh's "big toy" for learning to use the potty. She chose the kitchen set. It is really cute. I put it together today when I got home from work. She fianlly got to play withit this evening. She loves it. You should hear her talking on the phone. The oven doubles as a dishwasher. The set makes all kinds of kitchen sounds. Of course, it also takes 12 AA batteries We told her that she needs to keep using the potty because we will take it away if she doesn't. The other thing; Kaleigh was given a choice between a kitchen set and a train set. She has been saying for days she wants the kitchen set. We asked her before we left the store if she was sure this was what she wanted. We get in the car and Jerry was putting the huge box in the back, "But I wanted the train set". Too late.

Goofy day at work today. We were losing heat on my side beause they needed to make a repair, so we had to take all the residents to the other side. Not a fun thing if you know anything about the needs of Alzheimer's patients. I also got reamed a new one on the phone by one of my resident's dghtr-in-law. She had her husband call me and he was so calm and collected, the exact opposite. At least I got everything straightened out.

My sinuses must be acting up because my left eye feels like it has sand in it. I keep putting drops in, but it keeps feeling yucky.

Sandy: I had pancakes for breakfast. I could eat them all day, every day!

Heidi: Cute cartoon.

I hope Julie is doing OK. Her dad's retirement party is tomorrow and it is snowing and supposed to snow tomorrow and she can't get her foot wet.

We are supposed to go to friends tomorrow night to play cards. Hopefully Kaleigh will sleep in the pack n play. We are supposed to start putting up the tree tomorrow. We have to go get my paycheck tomorrow since I forgot to pick it up today since the morning was so screwy.

The nice thing about going to work was I got to do something, uniterupted, for a whole hour. I was preparing medications to hand out. I havent been able to do that all week.

It is two in the morning....I was gone all day....I had planned on getting so much done but Barb came over about 9:30 and we went out and had breakfast then met my granddaughter at Hobby Lobby. Barb had to leave to go get a facial so Criss and I went to Michaels. She was looking for things to decorate her office.....then we went there and got some of it done.. It got me in the mood so when I got home I got some of the Christmas things out and decorated my Disney tree...I only found one box of ornaments so far and I have a lot of them that I have gotten at DW.

I said I was not going to decorate this year and here I go....when we were in Hobby Lobby we found Nursery Rhyme ornaments...they are so cute...so I am going to put three trees in front of my picture window and decorate one in the nursery rhyme theme, one in snow men and the other one in santas. The tree in the kitchen will either be gingerbread or the marshmallow guys...I am not getting my big tree out so that is why the 3 trees that are only about 3-4 ft tall.

We ate and didn't get home until after ll. After Criss left I cleaned my bedroom closet, got my suitcases out on the bed and gathered up the gifts I have to wrap so that is why I am up so late. I probably am boring you but in order to keep posting all I have to talk about is my day... not very exciting.

It's me again....we got a lot of snow between the time I went to bed and now at 8......it is so pretty! Really makes you think about Christmas coming
