Good morning everyone

Sandy I feel so bad for you and your family.....wish there was something I could do : :love2:

I didn't do much yesterday....just didn't feel like it ....they got the HDtv installed and in changing the box over I lost all the programs that recorded that I haven't seen and I had to program all the ones in again to record. :guilty:

We went to Cracker Barrel last night and they had all their Christmas things on sale for 25% off.....I got a snowman holding a plate, snowman candle holder, Santa holding a lantern that lights and a snowman ornament. Guess now I am in the mood to decorate. :cool1:

It is only l2 degrees out right now at 6:54.... :cold:

I have a Christmas dress to make for my great granddaughter....she told her mom she wanted fancy dresses to wear to church...she is 4. I use to make Daisy Kingdom dresses for my granddaughters but the patterns now are not as cute now. I did find one and it is black velvet with a red plaid skirt over it...never thought I would like black for a child but it is really cute.

I also have an 2 albums to finish, gifts to wrap, laundry, clean and start getting things together to pack....so why am I sitting here? :confused3 Guess I need to get busy....

Good morning, the sun :sunny: is shining but boy is it cold.

Sally, your post was mighty decorated :flower: so I thought I should do it too. Call me a copy cat. I would hate to lose my tivo shows. I have many recorded. I am keeping one that has WDW Christmas the year we all went. I still haven't gone to Cracker Barrel yet. Someday.....

Barb, 2006 WILL be a better year. We have to be postive!

Heidi, I highly recommend that you DON'T visit Lou. She is going fast. Now she lays in fetal position and says help me. Last night the nurse said that she is doing much more sleeping and only opens her eyes when they reposition her and closes them again. She knows who is there but it is soooooo hard. Dad wanted to put up the tree last night but I talked him out of it. We can't tonight as we have Graci late and Big Fat Loser is two hours and then there is Amazing Race. You know how I can't do two things at once. :rotfl2:

I was wondering the same thing about the gift exchange. I really hope we can open with a wine chat. It has been so long and it seems we are all drifting apart. :grouphug:

Well, my family didn't like my decision to be put on hold at LAWL so I called them and will be going back in tomorrow. We will see.

Graci won't be going to preschool today so I will have her full time today. Maybe I can get out some Christmas cards.

Love to all.

I can't handle that, even reading it made me sick to my stomach and cry. That is so horrible to witness, I am sorry you have to mommy. I feel horrible for Lou and you and dad.

I supported you on your decision, but I think it is best to go back to try and keep you honest.

Randy stopped by my desk this morning and wanted me to tell you and dad to hang in there and he is thinking of you.

We ARE MOST DEFINITELY putting up the tree tonight. Chris and Dad can get things down at about 5:30 and then after Graci leaves, we have an HOUR to decorate it before biggest loser. NO IF's AND or BUT's ABOUT IT.

Sandy: More hugs. I wouldn't worry too much about LAWL. You can try to keep honest while not worrying about it. You have too many other things on your mind. You need to put up that tree!

Jerry's dad is in a lot of pain. He looked miserable on Thanksgiving. He needed help to cut his food because he hurt too much. He did eat well though. The doctors have pretty much said there isn't anything more they can do for him, but they haven't really come out and said hospice. I wish they would, because they haven't listened to my opinion, ever.

Julie: Pixie dust for your surgery tomorrow. Sorry Makenzie, no cookies here.

Heidi: We have a friend that was addicted to paintball for a while. Sounds like you managed to have fun without your parents. Jerry and I aren't exchanging gifts this year either. It all depends on how much maoney there is to go around.

Sally: Glad you made it home safely. Sounds like you had a nice, intimate, gathering :rotfl2: How can you shop in one store for 3 hours?

Julie is having a neuroma removed from her foot. It is a benign tumor on nerves. That is what was causing her the pain in the foot and why she had the cortisone shot.

Trying to get decorated a little at a time. I would like to put up the tree this weekend.

We do need to decide on a day for the Secret Santa. A wine chat would be nice, but don't we need Sue for that?

Sandy: I forgot. My mom has had several small spots of skin cancer removed from her face. No problems. I think Jerry's dad has had one removed.

Also, Kaleigh's Princess bedding came yeaterday. She loves it. We put the pillow on her bed and she was excited.

Oh, Heidi. You were a bit emphatic now weren't you?? lol We have to go pick up Lou's car at SW Auto before 6 and then Dad has to go up to Lou's to take the oxygen out back for the company to pick it up tomorrow. Honestly, probably don't have time for the tree even though it is still on dads agenda as well. Clarene saw Lou and prayed with her. Sounds like she is a little more alert.

Denine, the doctors never brought up hospice to Lou either. We had to have a heart to heart talk with a hospital social worker and she then took it up with the doctor for us. He was never straight forward with her or us. Poor Julie, a tumor on a nerve sounds awful! I hurt thinking about it. Denine, we can have a wine chat like we used to using a chat room on AOL. I was wondering who all is exchanging gifts this year. I am guessing Denine, Sandy, HEidi, Julie, Barb, Sally, Patti. Anyone know if the dudettes and Susan are involved?

Julie, we will be thinking good thoughts for you tomorrow. Please check in when you can. Love you.

Hi Denine, we cross posted. I am not concerned about the spot cancers either. Ted's dad had so many taken off it was a shame. As a geologist he was out in the sun all the time and it took its toll that is for sure. I just know that I have to pay more attention to my moles now. Heck, how can a person tell the difference between freckles, moles and liver spots?? lol

Well that is why we keep Chris around, to help get the stuff down and put up the tree for us to decorate. Perfect, so we will be over around 5:30 tonight, that way dad's car won't be in the way in the garage and Chris and I can pull the stuff down. Great idea, I am such a genious.

When I read the posts I feel so bad for Denine and Sandy....this is a tough time of year for things like this to happen...bad enough anytime but seems worse at Christmas.

I got my fall things put away, went to the store (and no, I didn't stay 3 hours :rotfl: ....somehow shopping for groceries just doesn't seem fun. I have a roast in the oven, my bedding in the washer and dryer and the kitchen cleaned so am going to watch tv and nap for a little while.

Barb is looking to buy tivo....I hope she does as I know she will love it..

Got my first Christmas card today...thanks Jeanne...you are an early bird. I have to get a few more made and then they will go in the mail :earsgirl:

If you can brag about almost getting your Christmas cards done, Sally, then I can. I just got them done. All I need is stamps. It has been nice in a wrong way that Graci got sick and couldn't go to school. That kept me home and gave me time to get them done.

Heidi, guess I can't even say "no". Your mind is always thinking. Bless your heart, I love you!! Want to come over for pancakes?

Good morning....it isn't quite as cold as it was yesterday...23 at 4:59.
Got another card yesterday...guess I had better get with the program...you are a lot far along with the cards than I am Sandy.

Last day of November.....I bought a few decorations last night at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I went with my granddaughter to look for things for her office....she didn't buy, I did. Something wrong with that picture. Everything was 50% off :cool1:

It seems that there are a lot more houses decorated early than there was last year....the 3 across the street from me and on both sides.....usually it was just me for a week or so....the house next door has a new owner and he has decorated a big tree in front and put lights on the house...seems funny because the other owners lived there over 30 years and never decorated. I wasn't going to decorate outside....even gave most of my things away. I do have all my lights and garland but the reindeer and sleigh flew down to Hobbs. Ken put them out while we were there and they looked so nice with all the lights on the house.

Didn't get to put the three up yesterday at my mom's house, Chris came home really late from work.....so we are definitely doing it tonight.

I got my first ever christmas card today, it was from another Diser!!!!!

Does anyone here own a Dyson vacuum?

Love the new look!

This is to cheer :cheer2: all of you up post. So I will tell you the "Black Friday Shopping With Bonnie" story. WE HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME!!!! Bonnie wants to make it an annual event - The Three Disney Dudettes :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: Black Friday Shopping Trip. I picked up Bonnie at 3:00 AM, off to WaWa for coffee (it was really cold :cold:), in line at WalMart by 3:40 AM. We were probably the 50th people in line so we knew we weren't getting the laptops on sale but Bonnie ran & got her Mom the computer on sale (which were all gone by 5:05 AM). We were checked out of WalMart by 5:09 AM so off we went to the Mall. We got our free Mickey ::MickeyMo snowglobes at Penney's, went to Strawbridges, Macy's, Victoria Secret (for our free panties) & then topped it off with a trip to Ulta. We were all done shopping by 9:30 AM so we went out to breakfast at the diner. We were really exhausted by then but happy.

I think Bonnie is in your "Secret Santa" but Joyce & I aren't.

SANDY & DENINE: Hang in there. It is just such a sad thing around the holidays. You feel quilty for wanting to be happy at Christmas.

DENINE: I need your new address. I think I only have the old address.

Worked Thanksgiving & had a really good day. Not one delivery all day. Off Black Friday & then I worked Saturday night 12 AM to 7 AM & it was another good night. Worked Monday & Tuesday so my Christmas trees aren't up. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? It is almost December 1st & my Christmas decorations aren't up & today I have to take my Mom to the doctors at 12:15 PM which means it doesn't even pay me to start until after we are home from the doctors.

Are you snowed :cold: in out there in Colorado. I think the cold is coming our way. Hope you all have a terrific week. Miss you all :grouphug:. Toodles  :earsgirl: JEANNE

What snow? :confused3 It seems that there is snow ( alot of snow) all around us, but we don't have any snow in Denver...just the darn cold weather. :cold: We are suppose to get snow this Saturday (ya thats what they said last Sunday), we will see!!!

Hey Heidi it is up to 33 degrees but no snow down here either..... :cold:

Jeanne it sounds like you had fun shopping but you had to get up a little early.... :hourglass Were the crowds really bad? We only went to Hobby Lobby in NM and they weren't bad at all....no one wanted to brave the dept. store or Walmart crowds...

Thinking about Julie today.

Sandy: Unfortuantely, neither Jerry nor I are in a position to talk to anyone important about getting Jerry's dad on hospice. They would never listen to us. His parents are in denial as well as his brother.

Jeanne: So good to hear from you. I sent you a PM. Sounds like the 3 of you had fun on BF.

I was going to start my Christmas cards today. But, I went to print off my list and it printed all fuzzy. I spent an hour working on the printer and it isn't any better. Need to wait for Jerry to get home. Put up a few more decorations last night.

Kaleigh is being terribly clingy these past 2 days. I can't leave the room without hearing "mommy!" Hard to get anything done that way. Yesterday it was doubtful I was getting a shower. But, I managed.

Grocery shopping tonight.

It is so cold. I hate it!

Didn't gain or lose any weight this week which is good since it was Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone from freezing cold :cold: Colorado. It is so darn windy that it chills you to the bone. The mtns are getting dumped on but we are dry.

Thinking of Julie today and sending hugs.

Went out shopping for little old Heidi and came back with NOTHING!! I need ideas sweet thing!

Jeanne, I bet you guys had a blast shopping and made a big scene. :rotfl2: We weren't suppose to be in town so I stopped the newspaper and didn't get the ads. Sounds like some fun freebies.

Denine, my printer is acting up as well. Need Heidi or Ted to look at it. The message says something about "faxing". No, I want to PRINT. :badpc: I weighed in today and lost 4.4 lbs from Monday to Wed. :confused3 They are a little concerned but figure it is stress related.

Sally, we haven't put up outside lights since we all met in WDW a couple of years ago. We were hoping that Heidi would take them but no, she can't put them up. DARN!

The laundry is calling my name. :grouphug: Hugs to all.

Hey Demanding Child, you can send your gift any old time you want. It is the opening time that we need to worry about.

Thanks mom, guess I will package my gift off and send it off!!!! I am tired of it sitting in my dining room!!!!!! I just no some people are getting ready to go on vacation so I thought we should do it before they leave.

So then, when should we open the gifts?

Julie - How are you doing? Feeling okay? How did your surgery go?
