My boyfriend now deserves the stupidest son award of the year.

Explanation:
(conversation last night)
Me: What time are you leaving to take your mom to the airport
Him: 8:00am (her flight is at 10:15)
Me: Did you take rush hour into consideration?
Him: No, should I leave earlier
Me: Ya, probably around 7:30 since it takes about an hour to get to the airport and that gives you some time for rush hour and for her to get through the airport.
Him: Sounds like a good plan

Fast Forward to today he gives me a call and the conversation goes like this:
Me: Hi did you just get home from the airport?
Him: No I have been home for awhile. What is the voicemail code, I think my mom missed the plane.
Me: WHAT, how could she have missed the plane and why are you now just calling for the code?
Him: I got her to the airport 30 minutes before her flight, I thought her flight left at 11:15.

WTH was he thinking??!!! He calls her back and told me that everything is taken care of and that she is on standby for the next flight at 12:30. He then comments that she is not upset and that his sister is the only one really put out because she has to go pick her mom up. She was supose to get into Florida at 5:40pm, she is now getting in at midnight. I told him he has lost his gold star for the day. I am so irritated, how could he be so irresponsible?

Still have the scratchy throat. It is worse, but no other sypmtoms yet. Had four 7 & 7's last night to try to kill the bugs!

Kaleigh is a little twerp! I fell asleep yesterday afternoon and never heard Kaleigh get up from her nap. Luckily, Jerry came home not too long after and found her in the office looking through everything. SO, last night, we put a gate up on her door so she could open the door but not get out. I went in theis morning and she had everything nicely set up for herself. She even had Jazzy in the room with her and her music on. I went downstairs to do some stuff because she didn't want to get dressed yet. When I went back, she was standing at the top of the stairs, gate still in place. She used a small chair and pushed it up to the gate and crawled over! The chair is removed.

Forgot to tell you that Jerry's dad had the appointment with the pain management doc on Monday. They can't do anything for him. What the doctor wanted to do would have comprimised his heart. SO, he gave him a couple of new drugs and sent him on his way.

I haven't been out of the house since Saturday. But, need to do some shopping this evening.

I lost 1 pound this week. Still need to get that last pound off for pre-cruise weight.

Ya he is a keeper. After all he took the day off yesterday to be with his mom and while she cooked real Cuban dishes, he helped her and did all of our laundry. Sometime he just doesn't think!!!!!!!

Hello,

Crazy unplanned day. Won't be over until late and I am tired and my back is killling me.

Denine, that is so sad about Jerry's dad. Pain meds would be so important to me that is for sure and to be denied pain management like that is sad. Kaleigh is unbelievably cute. Always thinking isn't she? I lost my four pounds from over the weekend but still have 5 to go from the cruise. I haven't really been concentrating on getting the cruise weight off. We have been so busy with Louise and my FIL that we eat out every meal on the weekend just because neither house is close.

Bonnie, are you a WINNER??

EWWW!!! What a cutie Heidi!!! Since I can't fix you up with my son he will most certainly do!!! A real hunk!! Love those with the Latin blood...mmm Silvio! Of course the airport mess sounds like something Ryan would do!

Lottery drawing is tonight....prayers, crossed fingers, chants...whatever! Then I can pay for a nice nursing facility for Jeannes mom!

Rain, rain go away!!! Of course I could look to Joyce for paddling...not sure about Jeanne though. In DL she didn't want to go on the canoes with Joyce and I...too much work.

You go Kaleigh!!!! Keep it up and you'll get your big girl bed!!! Too cute, and smart!

Bonnie - I guess I will have to tell you hands off my man, because he is coming on the September '06 cruise with us!!!!

It was so nice to go home yesterday and do what I wanted to do and be by myself!!!! No one to entertain, nothing. Too bad I came home with a bad headache that made me sick, but hey at least I could get into my pj's and fall asleep on the couch and for dinner eat plain noodles!!!!!

Heidi, yummy, plain noodles! Sounds good to me. Believe it or not, on Sunday we stopped at Fazoli's in Arvada and I asked for spaghetti with meat sauce on the side so I could control it for my diet and I ended up eating it plain and Dad had the entire sauce. Did you know that Fazoli's now has cinnamon breadsticks and cheese breadsticks? A bit pricey though. Two for 1.29 or if you order them with your entree it is .79 for two.

Sandy: GLad you lost those 4 pounds. You can have the pasta, but are limited on the sauce? Kaleigh had eggs and noodles for lunch, yummy. I am having tea and toast.

It has really been crazy here. We think my Moms house is sold already (the first people who looked at it). The girl wants settlement by the end of this month. I just want it all over with. We still have to clean out the attic (it has cribs from my kids - youngest 24). Can you imagine what that will be like?

I have my Ark built already - the heck with you rowers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning All!

Today is my second Friday off and I have yet to feel the "I am off on a Friday excitement" Last week I cleaned and ran errands today Michelle's Mom & Sister and I are driving to the place Jason and Michelle are having their wedding next June. I need to get pictures and make some sketches so I know what to do for the flowers and decorations.

I was so busy at work yesterday I never even opened up the board. Thought I would try and get my post in early today.

Heidi- Very cute boyfriend and the girls are beautiful. You are very lucky. Where do the girls live? Do you see them often? Do you get along with them?

Where is everyones cabins for the September cruise?

Heidi-I am going to take a few minutes before I have to go get ready to try and get the Mickey head in my post. Wish me luck! I may be asking again
