I got a postcard from Mickey Mouse today saying he will "See you soon!!!" It was Greetings from the Magic I can't wait! Joyce & I leave for California on August 17th. Getting very excited

Still no word from Bonnie I went to "the ladies" yesterday and shopping today. I am going to miss lots of birthdays so I had to do lots of shopping.

I did buy a peasant skirt & ordered a top. The skirt is long, flowing, black with silver beads & mirrors. I think I could wear it another night too! I just would have to dress it up. Let's just hope the pirate night is not on our Palo night. I would be disappointed.

Just wanted to let you all know I am still alive & so is Joyce. We work opposite each other. She worked today. I work tomorrow. Hope you all are well & staying cool . It is REALLY hot again here . Toodles JEANNE

It is only 64 at the present so I am going outside to work until it gets too hot....I have been up since 4:30 so if I don't do something I will fall asleep on the computer....

First off, Jerry's dad got some real pain meds, MS Contin, which is a long acting morphine in tablet form. That is what I told his mom to ask for and the MD agreed. He actually fell asleep after taking it. Jerry's mom sounds worn out though.

I lost 1 pound for a total of 25! 5 more to go!

2 weeks from today we are on a plane to LA!

Sally: Yeah!

So, who is going to DL with us?

Supposed to be 93 today. I have the air on.

Congrats on the weight loss Denine. I lost another 2 from Monday to today for a total of 61 lbs. I am now 3 under my goal. I will just keep losing until the cruise. That way I have a cushion for weight gain on the cruise. My FIL was on the same med as yours. I found it in his medicine cabinet. I quickly threw that one out!

Sally, Brat camp tonight. Love it!

Jeanne, your Pirates outfit sounds great. I am taking back my 17.00 skirt and keeping a 2.50 skirt from Goodwill that is too big. Just didn't want to spend too much for a "costume". Now, I never thought of it being on a Palo night. How sad would that be? The new one isn't all that great but will do.

I went to my seamstress and had a couple of dresses altered for the cruise. Doggone it. I lost too much and didn't guess the correct sizes. Some dresses I am just settling with the size but my 2 favorites I decided NOT to settle.

Got tons to do now so better go.

I was told that it is now a fashion no-no to wear black hose for formal wear. What do you think? I have a black long formal dress and a black knee length semi formal dress and I don't know if I should wear black hose, tan or no nylons at all. Should I wear flipflops? Help me please.

Good morning everyone!!! Today is a beautiful rainy day in Colorado. It rained all night and is supose to rain all day today. I am sure the grass is loving it. The high is supose to get to a big whoppin 64 degrees!!!! I don't mind the change in weather though, it's kinda of a nice fall day outside!!!!

Who watched Brat Camp last night? I started watching last week with my best friend and got addicted. Looks like Jada will never change from the previews for the next week show. Lexie, I think she has potential to change now that her and Glacier have a good bond and something in common. Big Brother tonight!!!

Anyone have big plans for this weekend? I am staying home and getting pictures up (that have been sitting in the living room since we have moved in), doing touch up paint, planting my grandpa's cactus, going to dinner and a movie (haven't done that in a long time!!!), fixing the bench that Chris broke, maybe go look at patio furniture to see if there is any good sales, finish up my mom's magnets, and then celebrate Taura's birthday!!! Phew sounds exhausting just writing it!!!

Whoa Heidi, I am tired just reading what you have planned. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DINNER LAST NIGHT. It was so yummy. You definitely are the queen of garlic bread! I can't believe how much rain we have gotten here. Heidi, you should have seen the water running in the creek (detention pond) by McD's on Wads.

Can anyone else come out to play besides Heidi?

We had a little rain last night and no sun today but no rain. It is 58 degrees....think I will finish shampooing the carpets upstairs and also the cleaning...only have the 2 bathrooms and our bedroom to do. Then the bathroom and scrapbook room and I am done inside! It wouldn't take so long if I didn't think I had to clean out every drawer and closet in the house but at least the fall cleaning is done. I do have the woodwork to finish painting in the bathroom but will wait until Linda leaves to do that.

My granddaughter wants me to put my fall decorations out for her mom but I think I will wait until the last week she is here. I have the dept 56 fall pumpkin wagon, farmhouse set, maple sugar set and pumpkin roadside pumpkin stand....it is so cute.

I go to the doctor this afternoon and taking the stone....hopefully they will say yes, it is a stone.

I missed the Cut last night...did anyone see it....I thought is was recording and it didn't. We did see Brat Camp and that Jada is a trip....she sure has her parents snowed....wonder what they will think when they hear her say they are suckers....

Sandy, I can't believe you lost 6l pounds.....when I last saw you you didn't have 6l pounds to lose.....you must be skinny minnie now.

Sally, you are too kind. I DID have that much to lose. Just no more. I love Brat Camp. I think it will be a great eye opener for Jada's parents. I would be totally embarrassed if as her mother I would hear what all she had to say. She is quite the manipulator. I can't imagine her folks believing her when she was put in as a habitual liar. I can't believe you haven't gotten the rain. Even Monument got dumped on.

Sandy: I wish I could lose like you do! WOW! Jerry can't seem to lose at all. I would wear natural colored pantyhose IMHP.

Supposed to be 95 today with storms tonight and 80 tomorrow.

Today was a good Disney day!!!! Jerry made our WDW ressies for May and we got our docs! We would still like to book a winter trip, maybe January or February.

The builder was here yesterday repainting all my window sills. The nails all bled through. At least they primed with kilz and then painted. They look sooo much better.

We went to see Willy Wonka again last night at the drive-in. There hasn't been anything else up and there won't be that we either want to watch or can take Kaleigh too. She LOVES going to the movie!

Heidi: You do have a busy weekend planned. If we find ourselves without plans, we will paint our bathroom.

Sally: I hope they say it was your pesky stone.

I work tomorrow.

Denine, I did lose a bunch but I had to pay to do it. I would not have accomplished what I did if I wasn't held accountable by someone else and paid for it. Don't want to waste money and don't want to be embarrassed by telling someone what I had to eat. I think that you are doing an awesome job by yourself!! We will be lucky to hit 70 today. Don't think we will. It has rained nonstop all day. Not fair you got your docs. We are still waiting. DCL told my TA that they were printed last week and we would get them this week. Haven't seen Willy Wonka yet. It sure is getting rave reviews!

Sally, check back in and let us know if it was the stone!

You guys have to help Heidi and Sally when we are gone or the thread will die and they will be bored.

Got Doc's for Joyce and I today I don't know if that means Bonnie got hers or that DCL is still screwed up as to where each Dudette lives! Did you get a postcard from Mickey too?

SANDY: Go stockingless! Live on the wild side. I think it depends how hot or cold it is on the ship. If it is cold wear stockings (I still like black stockings), if it is hot go bare legs. I am SOOOOOO proud of you and can't wait to see you. Will I recognize you? Still no word on Bonnie.

DENINE: Very proud of you too! Joyce & I arrive Wednesday night & are planning on going to Disneyland & California Adventure both Thursday & Friday. I have my cell phone with me & will forward you the number. I think you may have it already & I know Sandy has the number.

Joyce & I went out after work for the usual at Los Amigos (no wonder I can't lose weight!). Went to a "task force" meeting at work from 3-4:15 PM today. It is still really hazy, hot & humid but it did shower this afternoon but it didn't bring the temp. down. Can't wait until August 20th! Hope you all have a fun weekend. I am working tomorrow & have "ladies" duty this weekend. Toodles JEANNE
